It's getting to the point where half the time you have to call an "off mic" just to give an order. If not, then everyone is running around confused because half the T's heard the order, and the other half didn't hear anything while running around guessing where they need to go. The guessing half, after getting shot, screams freeshot and freekill, and they don't even know whats going on. Long story short, if prisoners are being overly loud, I just tell them to be quiet. If they refuse, I make it an order and tell them to get off their mic. If they still refuse, they get shot. They either learn self control, or be violently silenced. It's within the rules, and it allows the game to continue as intended.

THIS My exact setup, and perfect for your price range. Be sure to grab a poop-filter for your mic, and think ahead of how you want your mic set up to minimize noise. Just a fair warning with the Blue Yeti, it's a bit large, but completely worth every penny.

+LOVE Giving Prisoners "Jobs" that forces them to roleplay. "Prisoner 1, you are a doctor now, stay in medic and diagnose Prisoner B" "Hey Faglord69, you're a lifegaurd now, stay in pool and make sure no one drowns." You usually don't have to shoot anyone because they are having fun PLAYING THE GAME. Team Based Exercises: Instead of shooting someone who fucks up, you make the entire group do it again. Force everyone to do 10 squats every fuck up, and you have a military prison. Roleplay at it's finest. Non-Meta Deathgames: Old school shit like Trivia, Horse, Rap Battle, and Map death games that are rarely/never used. Shooting anyone in the head that doesn't follow your order to the teeth, forcing any deathgame the warden fancies, and admins CT restricting anyone who freekills for at least 10 rounds. Is that 2008 calling? Someone tarnishing your name? or perhaps engaging in cowardly banter like the scoundrels they are? Challenge them to a duel in the knife arena, and honorably slay your enemies with the entire server witnessing the glory! Or, at least you'll entertain the server for a few moments. +HATE "CROUTCHWALK TO X" then proceeds to warning shoot anyone that jumps, the children scream for justice, but all they are rewarded with is a "NO JUMPING". The children clutch their bullet wounds, tears flowing freely, with teeth grit, and a cry of a banshee, they reply "BUT YOU SAID NO JUMPING" enraged at simple words, the cancer spreads, effecting all within the server. There is no escape, only agony unrelenting. Any order that is given that keeps T's in one place for an extended amount of time. This usually occurs when people argue, but it happens nonetheless. A players shouldn't need to chime in every time two people of opposite sides argue to keep the game flowing smoothly. "ALL TEEZ ALL TEEZ ALL TEEZ UUUUUUUUUUUUR GUNNA TAKE WUUUUUUUUN STHEP OUTTA UR CELL, FFFFFACE UR CELL, AAAAAAND FUHREEZE" Any time a CT orders an entire T side to go into isolation, or an isolated area. Seriously. Let's all try to jam an entire prison into one room with no collision. Not only will it take 3 minutes, but it will take longer when a T kills a CT from within isolation. God forbid that the door closes, or the door button is CT side activated only, or you can shoot through the walls. It's just a bad idea, and a huge waste of time. Do not do this without good reason. TL;DR New and original orders are welcome, stop doing the same shit every round.

Easy. Automatic, until an update breaks something and you're forced to go manual again. Then eventually try automatic again so you can pinpoint a moment to save instead of going through an hour of gameplay footage. EDIT: I forgot there was a hotkey to save individual recordings while in game, you can change the length of time in settings, but I usually keep it at least over 2 minutes.

Well, I knew writing a step-down post would have to be done eventually, but I never would have thought it would be so soon. As some of you have noticed, I've been absent from the servers and community for a few weeks. I currently do not have a lot of free time, nor the resources to keep my part of the ship sailing smoothly. I'm stepping down from AO to focus on a new chapter of my life, and I'm going to need to shift my attention to the present, and the future ahead. I apologize to those who feel this is abrupt, but this is the best decision for all involved. You are all an important part of SG, from the Regular, all the way to President. You all make this place the best out of the rest. I care for this community deeply, and I only see great things coming from it in the near future. I wanted to thank everyone who got me to the point of AO. It's been a lot of work, but seeing joy, and excitement of the playerbase having fun makes it all worthwhile. I want to tag a ton of people, and thank them one by one, but I'm in bumfuck nowhere, literally typing this up on Tapatalk. You know who you are. I apologize for the formatting, Tapatalk doesn't like to register forumtags consistently. "Do you think when a CT gives the order "All Ts crouch walk to pool" no jumping should be implied? If not, explain." No, tell them not to jump, if they do, warning shot, if they do it again, kill. Easy. "If Ts are AFK longer than thirty seconds into the round should you be able to kill them? if not, explain." If they aren't following orders, you punish them. No rule needed. "Should CTs be able to force Ts to throw their grenades away from all other CTs? if not, explain." CT's have always been able to tell a prisoner to drop a grenade. "Long LRS." Obvious round delay is obvious. Don't be a dick to the dead. "Warning shots" If you warning shoot someone, and they still don't follow the order, you can kill them. Anyone that calls freekill just because of "I only got one warning shot" is wrong. Bare in mind that it does NOT mean you MUST kill after the first warning shot. I usually give a T two warning shots for not obeying, then take them down. Also, if I catch anyone freekilling with the excuse of "I warning shot him 2 minutes ago", stand by for punishment. I'm also aware of the issue with multiple CTs giving a warning shot at once, sometimes resulting in an unintentional kill. Shit happens. If you were the CT, you do have the option to slay and apologize if you wish to do so. However it is not required. Sent from Tapatalk
