  1. Extending the deadline to June 1st, I think some people missed out on getting in their clips on time. Submit your clips here before the new deadline comes!
  2. id punch an infant in the forehead.
  3. he's talking about the actual traitor voice chat, which should still be !v
  4. Correct map link here https://gamebanana.com/maps/196311
  5. May I link you to this fabulous recording guide I have made to free alternatives to recording such as shadowplay and OBS, a tutorial to set it up and how to use it. Other than that I think there'll be a solution to this demo problem soon, it's just with that smoke bug that people have been abusing this is just what Valve is using (hopefully) for now.
  6. He’s probably saying to make it so you only have to type !stopmusic once and then the music doesn’t play for the rest of the map, but still have the option to hear the music.
  7. Map Removal Full map name ttt_ts_slayers_chinese_v2 Type of map TTT Why should we remove it Music restarts after each round, even if !stopmusic is typed. Awfully complex map with tons of unused guns, very few spawns of the good guns. Very easy to hide and delay as innocents, even though they are allowed to.
  8. ive got a thing for quadra-amputees. OR flamingos.
  9. Congrats on the promotions boys! It was only a matter of time before this would happen.
  10. it’s already a rule that you are only allowed 1 forum acc. https://www.steam-gamers.net/guides/guide_sg_forumrules.php and also the one steam account is stupid for reasons above
  11. Welcome back gamers to another Steam-Gamers contest! As you may or may not have known, our community actually has its own YouTube channel for you to submit videos to be featured on. Unfortunately over the past few years, this channel has died down and is currently inactive, but that is what this thread is about. We are going to be reviving our YouTube channel with your help. In order to revive our YouTube channel and get some community involvement within it, we are going to hosting a Clip of The Month Contest! This contest will include prizes for the winners, as well as an awesome video stitched together by our Media Team featured at the end of the contest. This video will be a montage of all of the submitted clips given they have good enough quality. How Can I Submit Videos? Video Submissions will be available via this form which can also be found by clicking the banner up top. When linking to the video, we ask that you upload it to google drive as a .mp4 file and give us the share link where the form asks for a link to the clip. Please remember to use quality over quantity. Any clips submitted that have poor quality or no meaning will not be used nor considered in the video and contest. What Kinds of Clips Can I Submit? You are allowed to submit any clips from any game or server so long as it remains related to SG. This can mean playing another game such as Overwatch, Fortnite, TF2, etc. with people from SG, or from your time spent on the servers. There is no time restriction on the submissions for these clips, but we ask that you not submit a full demo or gameplay footage to skim through. This does not mean you cannot record with these methods and take clips out yourself to submit. A few methods of recording gameplay are things like plays.tv, steamlabs, Shadowplay, OBS, etc. I've made a guide on how to record with OBS and Shadowplay here, and a plays.tv guide by frosty here. The general requirements for submissions are: - Clips must be SG related in some way, shape, or form - Quality over quantity. Dont spam bad clips or videos - There is no time limit nor requirement, this goes with quality over quantity - Only video files will be accepted. Do NOT submit demo files. How will this be judged? All clips this time will be judged by the public in a poll that will come with the video. First Place Prize: M4A4 | Desolate Space (Field Tested) Second Place Prize: AWP | Fever Dream (Factory New) Third Place Prize: AK47 | Blue Laminate (Minimal Wear) Prizes will be handed out by trading with me after the community votes. Submissions for this contest will end on 6/1. Any videos submitted after this deadline will roll over and be considered for the next Clip of The Month. The winner will not be receiving the YouTube forum award, as this award is being saved for fully edited and submitted videos through the proper form in the YouTube section of our forums. SUBMIT A VIDEO NOW thanks cept and roux for formatting
  12. the man the myth the legend harold fuck you libtard courtney
  13. passing 2nd grade
  14. to block spoilers. god damnit... stupid ass trolls.
  15. I'm pretty sure all the servers have !es... but if I'm wrong I don't know which servers don't because MG TTT JB and I'm pretty sure ZE has this.
  16. being unable to mute/block threads like these
  17. I use turn binds for self boosts (cache whitebox to boost, inferno quad roof but I don't use turnbinds here) on scrim, but I could probably manage without turnbinds. If you afk on scrim anyways thats pretty damn cheap and we could definitely kick them for it since a lot of scrims playerbase is admins since its based on our forums. If the majority of people say that we should disable it on scrim then let it be. TTT JB and ZE, the most popular of our servers could benefit from disabling them though. Another one of our test trials I guess.
  18. yea, it's fine, you just don't really see it as much on JB and TTT than you do on MG Surf and Bhop, as well as upping your m_yaw. Like said by me and Gentoo in previous posts we could probably find a way to edit the autoafkspectator-whatever it is plugin to not count +left and +right movements as you actually being at your keyboard, and it would just ignore people holding down turnbinds.
  19. I use and see people use turnbinds every round on mg. Not exaggerating this. Not even on mg, I use turnbinds atleast once to do something on any csgo round. I can name many situations where I use turnbinds and see other people use turnbinds. Your hand is just too lazy? Hold tab and you gain speed. Need to bhop backstab someone for some reason? Hold tab and w to orbit around the guy and knife him. On a course map and prespeeding for a skip? Hold tab. I can't tell you how lots of people use this mechanic, mostly on mg bhop and surf, and how disappointed that some of the turnbinders would be if it was disabled. I understand for ZE, JB, TTT, but for mg scrim (because who is gonna afk on scrim) bhop and surf I'd keep it. Since sv_airaccelerate is 1000 on afaik JB MG Surf and Bhop. It depends on the servers settings on how useful turnbinds are, and also stupid ass commands like +strafe where you move your mouse in a circle and you strafe in a circle without moving your mouse or characters pov. I can understand where you are from since you play JB TTT and Scrim which don't have any form of bhop, but these commands are useful. I've used them on all our servers. But it's hard to explain how important/useful turnbinds are to some players.
  20. There's a difference between actual bhop/strafe hacks (hyperscroll, ahk, macros, optimizers, silent strafes even) and turnbinds. Turnbinds, anyone can do from within CSGO. Simply put "bind tab +left" into console and you've got yourself a turnbind. Anyone can do it without going out of their way and many people even try to mimic turn binds by upping their m_yaw from the default .022. m_yaw btw just restricts your up and down movement and loosens your left and right movement. All of this can be done in game by anyone at any time. It's implemented into the game and it's something many players utilize to actually play the game, and sadly also abuse it to afk for points. Bhop hacks are something you must go out of your way to get. Hyperscrolling involves purchasing a mouse that has the ability to unlock your scrollwheel and hit more scrolls allowing the server to time your jumps more precisely to when you land to improve bhopping. ahk's are scripts that allow you to hit high scrolls by toggling your autohotkey and then holding spacebar. Unfair advantage that you have to go out of your way to install/acquire. Macros, hold down the button and you jump basically. Unfair advantage that you have to go out of your way by installing/acquiring something that isn't in CSGO. Optimizers sync your strafes better and help you bunnyhop. Unfair advantage that you have to install/acquire. Silent strafes make you pick up speed without moving your mouse. Unfair advantage that you have to install/acquire. TL;DR Turnbinds are in csgo and other things that are classified as bunnyhop hacks are not. Anyone can get turnbinds by opening console, but you have to install something third-party to get other bhop hacks. Admins can just kick them, players can report them with our player complaints, and if admins see them doing it excessively like I think someone posted that they were complaining that they would afk on ze when they went to school, then kick them again/ban them.
  21. I disagree with this. I use +left and +left only for lots of reasons, prespeed on mg and our other movement servers, bhopping and surfing, or just straight up moving around the map. Maybe some edit of the autoafk plugin where it won't register +left and +right movements to stop you from being afk. Shouldn't be that hard right? All I see the plugin doing is check if you are moving using wasd spacebar, and moving your mouse. I don't know anything about coding really but isn't there a way to see what kind of bind (+moveleft, +moveright, +use, +reload) you are pressing and only take account for some of those like moveleft moveright forward backward jump and moving your mouse. Might not make sense to read this but it makes sense to me. I don't use them 24/7 on the server but lots of people use turn binds on mg surf and bhop, and those gamemodes aren't really the ones that need turnbinds removed. Some KZ servers have removed turnbinds, but we are only mg bhop and surf.
  22. So now that prez stepped down like black rain did, is he still going to handle skin/game donation or is someone else going to do this?
  23. Upload Quality

I render the video then upload to youtube, I tested it by uploading straight to youtube from Vegas Pro but the framerate looked shitty so I'm choosing to stick with render then upload. I'm not sure if just uploading it straight from a render is good enough for videos though, as I constantly notice all the mixed pixels. It might just be me though, I don't know.
