  1. cool this is cool
  2. 2/24/19 Hello everyone, quick rule update in regards to First Order: CTs cannot give freedays while First Order is active, this includes the person who takes First Order. This seemed like a pretty big issue up to this point with First Order and we're hoping this will reduce chaos at the beginning of the rounds and help CTs get a grasp on things.
  3. 2/24/19 Thanks to @BoTo, the SelfMute plugin has been edited slightly to include a new feature that I think a lot of people will find very useful: !sm @ts - Mutes the entire T team !su @ts - Unmutes the entire T team Hopefully this will help if it's getting too loud and you're having trouble hearing orders. Please report any bugs with the change in this thread.
  4. Just going to mark this as rejected.
  5. "Man, I would sell my first born for a Cal Flame 4-Burner Built In Propane Gas Grill right now. What a piece of art." - @Lokibelowkey
  6. I updated it a couple days ago with the forced death-game change.
  7. "what does this wire do" - @Ned "ned" disconnected (leaving)
  8. Does anyone know what the other big Jailbreak servers do to control the talking? Is it just their warden always talking? I can go take a look if no one knows. If we figure it out though, we could possibly build off of whatever they do if it isn't just a warden.
  9. Quick bump and I'm going to sticky this in this section.
  10. Jailbreak Community Meeting Date/Time: Saturday, February 23rd - 6:30PM EST Place: TeamSpeak - ts.steam-gamers.net We haven't had a community meeting in quite a while and we think it's time for another one. There's been pretty rapid management changes across the span of three or four months and I think it's important that you all understand our plans and the direction we want to take the server. We want to hear what you guys want to see added, your opinions on things we've added and any other concerns you have since we'll have management there to address them. Agenda - Introduction - Management Changes - Forced Death-Games - Voice Communication Issues - First Order Revisions - Recent Events and Future Events - Discord and Steam Group - General Rule Discussion / Concerns - Q&A/Open Floor Feel free to discuss things here or suggest things to add to the agenda. Hope to see you all there!
  11. It's really situational and depends on the map, but I'd encourage you to just go based off the definition of blatantly disobeying: For reference, here's a diagram of the exact order you're referencing on vipinthemix: Red would be the point where you would just gun them down and yellow is where you would warning shot them.
  12. Hey man, thanks for the feedback. We just implemented the rule today based on the support for it's addition from the community. We feel as though it could really spice up the gameplay and hopefully lead us out of this deathmatch feel we currently have on the server. I'm not sure if you've read the post, so here's the full rule set: I actually think this is even more restricting than if we just let the CTs force death-games every 3 rounds. It's extremely hard to get into a situation where you can actually force death-games with these rules in place. My goal for this is to expose everyone to death-games just a little bit, then gather feedback on it and possibly lower the restrictions on it. I want to eventually get it to a nice middle point where we aren't constantly forcing death-games, but they're used a little bit to change up the gameplay. I played a little bit today to monitor it's release and it seemed pretty balanced and didn't seem like it's interrupted the server's normal gameplay much yet. I'm willing to entertain any feedback though of course, since the regulars probably play more often than me. I would encourage everyone to give it a few days of gameplay before criticizing it too harshly, but that's just a suggestion. Thanks again for the input.
  13. I'm on it yo Finished.
  14. 2/18/19 Forced Death-Games are live! The rule set is as follows: CTs cannot force a death-game when there are 6 or less Ts alive. CTs must, to the best of their ability, cease the death-game if it gets to this number. CTs cannot force a death-game before the clock hits 2:00. CTs can only force the Ts to play a death-game for 45 seconds at a time. CTs can only force map made death-games. The map made death-game must give the Ts a chance to live. CTs must allow the map death-game to function as intended and must not interfere at all. CTs can only force one death-game per round. CTs must let the map made death-game do the damaging/killing. CTs cannot use forced death-games to gain points from kills. Please read these through very thoroughly. Also please note that this does not change anything regarding voluntary death-games, these only pertain to forced ones. We've worked very hard to fully flesh these rules out, but we're completely open to feedback. Thank you to @Wawa @DancingMoonLight @Ray @Military_king @Manny @Takuto and all the admins that helped out.
  15. This has been moderated so no one had access to this for a few days. If anyone has any comments, feel free to post them.
  16. Marking this as rejected. We obviously don't want to split the population in two at a time where we're not even beating some other JB servers in terms of ranking.

  18. I'm told this was cancelled. If anyone wants to take it upon themselves to pick this up and try to make a video, feel free to do so and hit me up for help. However, this is marked as rejected for now.
  19. Like I said in your previous thread, it's not all cut and dry. If an admin is answering a question on mic while being dead and accidentally talks over some orders, it's not a big deal. If they're reading an entire book on mic, obviously there's a problem. In any case though, you have to have your tag on as an admin. Going to mark this and lock it. PM me or another higher up with further questions or concerns.
  20. Same deal with the talking before T mute and talking during !fo, it's an admin ability so they have to tag up. There's no real way to "abuse" it other than mic spamming though. Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't really impede on the gameplay in any way.
  21. I honestly completely agree. I think it goes against the point of the gamemode and shouldn't be allowed. I'm glad you brought it up. It'll have to be discussed further between higher ups, but feel free to continue posting your thoughts, I encourage you all to do so.
  22. Valentine's Day

This is probably the most romantic shit someone will ever do for me. Since I haven't got a response from any of my other proposals, I'll be your valentine.
  23. Valentine's Day

    @euro @michellec @smiley :] @sphinxxxy @skitzophranic @bethy @Gracieeepoo @Black Rain @jeN @Ms. Blargh @Suri @Mystique @Zsoki @POOP @Charliere @Apshai @Nitram @flacid shell @Psychotropic Red @Vivian @Ahoy @Jenna Hey ladies, I would like all of you to be my valentine.
  24. I'm going to close this thread up, but I just wanna clarify a few things. Admins should not be interfering with !fo to the point the CT can't clearly give orders. It's not cut and dry, it's situational, but that's the general rule of thumb to follow. Admins, let the players use the command as intended, don't use it as time to call each other fagbags. Using it to quickly dish out a warning isn't a big deal though. Using voice chat during !fo when other CTs can't speak and talking before 4:15 when other Ts can't speak is utilizing an admin ability. Therefore, you have to tag up with your forum name. It's an admin rule, you're expected to follow it. Admin complaints are there for a reason. If someone is abusing their power and you can't get them to stop, make an admin complaint or contact a higher up if you don't want to post one publicly. Complaining about admins abusing their powers with the means to stop them at your fingertips doesn't make any sense. PM me or another higher up or make a new thread if you have any further questions.
  25. One of the primary goals of !fo is to allow one CT to get out the first order without interruption and avoid confusion at the beginning of rounds. If an admin is speaking over someone to the point that they can't get an order out clearly, I would consider it abuse of that power they've been given. If the person who has !fo isn't even talking yet and an admin makes a quick comment, there's nothing wrong with it in my eyes and I don't see why there would be.
