Most of what's been posted here is total garbage and should stay in your head. Clearly, the thread was posted in the "rules discussion" subforum, and not in our "r/AmIAPedo" section. If you don't know what you're talking about, try to avoid talking about it. Chances are, you're wrong. Keep your allegations and accusations to yourselves, and pm them to us. This kind of thing weighs too much for us to allow that kind of ill-intended discourse in a totally unrelated public setting.

If you're desperate for sleep, antihistamines like gravol/benadryl/zzquil can be a solution if you don't plan on taking them every night. Melatonin works, but is only optimal in certain scenarios and misusing it can fuck your night cycle up even more. Don't exercise 4 hours before going to bed, drink water, avoid screens an hour prior to sleep, avoid being in your room for anything but sleeping if you can. Do not read in bed, if you find yourself unable to sleep, leave your room and do something for 20-30 minutes. yo, We (I) have some promotions to announce today...?...! First up, to the Events Team, we're bringing up Kieran and Acer! Their new responsibilities will include: Organize, plan, and run events Manage/Promote special events on our servers Manage and monitor gaming tournaments (ie. SGSL) Make sure servers are ready for all special events Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community Work with the Administrative Team to create events that cater to community interests Next up, to the Marketing Team, our newest addition will Steven.! His new responsibilities will include: Manage all third party sites/applications. Manage all advertising, sponsorships, and affiliations. Recommend upgrades and general marketing aspects for the community. Research what the community likes / doesn't like. Upkeep the image of SG and help expand. RWS (round win share) only calculates the metric out of rounds you've won, not on performance/score/whatever. Which means you can go 60-0 and still have a rws of 0. It is inherently flawed by how it expresses one's individual action rather than overall worth. HLTV's rating 2.0 is a better metric, but still lacking imo. There's no good way of showing a player's skill/worth with a number, which is why I refused to ever add such a thing to the server under my management.

It's fair for you guys to express concerns over a potential switch, but an expression I keep hearing is "forcing down x's throat". I was heavily, and I mean heavily against a discord switch last year. To this day, I still believe TS is the superior voip program, that its functionality and the place it has in our community strongly pertains to its very success. However, I've come to the conclusion that the switch is an inevitability. The same thing could've been said (and probably were) about mumble and ventrilo. The reach Discord has over TS is not even a competition and Discord's versatility is unparalleled in the industry. What I ask of you, before criticism rises out of emotional discourse and fears of SG shutting down, is to see this as an expansion, as a transition, rather than a brute-forced change. We will not implement discord like we tried to last year, this will be a process. We don't have ETAs, nor will any of you wake up with the TS server down for good. We listen closely to the community's feedback, because as many have mentioned, the niche spot we found with Teamspeak is a non-negligible factor in this discussion, and that brutally switching from a platform to another would hurt more than benefit us. We are open to ideas, suggestions, any feedback, or concerns that you guys might have, but it is important to state facts over emotional nostalgia. This will be a big move, I know that, but I want this to be done as a community effort, and not perceived as the board forcing a change that nobody wants down their throats. Like we said, we did not state a specific date nor do we plan on doing this very soon, but you can gradually expect improvements over our discord and how we deal with many of the sub/vip perks and functions to retain 100% of what we've built so far. I hope this is somewhat comforting for some, because I completely understand how some of you guys might feel, being a part of the wave last time. After his reccommendation I also bought it to replace my primary monitor and it does wonder. Got it refurbished, lowering the price by nearly $100. Of course it isn't the best out there, but quality/price wise, certainly one of your best options.

update since that whole virus thing i read that 70% isopropyl alcohol kills coronavirus so i bought absinth and i'm on my 9th bottle and im still virus free so there's that!
