Hello everyone. We have a couple of monthly promotions to get out so I'll do this and get out of your way. First off, we are bringing someone up who has been on this team for a very long time. He's always around to help and will nonstop bug me for Gmod events. This individual is providing his input for every event and has some amazing ideas to help improve the team. He has shown his complete passion towards the team and it is clear he is ready to manage it. Please join me in congratulating Acer for this promotion to Events Manager. His responsibilities will stay the same with the additional of co-managing the team. While we are on the topic of Events Team, we have two some-what brand new members! These two guys have been previous members of the Events Team and we are happy to be bringing them back. Two great dudes who love to help out this community and they have some great ideas for events. One of them is already helping out by making events. Let's welcome Poke and Strayyz to the Events Team! Their new responsibilities will include: Organize, plan, and run events Manage/Promote special events on our servers Manage and monitor gaming tournaments Make sure servers are ready for all special events Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community Work with the Server Managers to create events that cater to community interests Up next we got a couple of big promos for this team. This one kid is already a member of like 9 teams but he has shown his strength and has been helping out wherever possible. He's a total powerhouse and we're happy to be promoting him. The other two gentlemen have been great admins and they have a glimmer in their eye that caught the attention of our Lead Advisors. We are happy to be promoting Nate, Jmc, and Arctic wolf to Community Advisors! Their responsibilities will include: Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects Handling player complaints and issuing bans Moderation of the forum Give awards to members on request Send group invitations to members on request Post in-game server problems on the forum Help in any way to make the servers fun Handle reported posts on the forum We now have a some-what bittersweet promotion because he will be replacing our dear friend William on the Design Team. William will be leaving us soon to go serve our country and we would like to honor him by promoting this guy to his position. He's previously been staff here so he knows how it goes but this time he'll be on a new team. Please welcome me in congratulating Benzene on his promotion to the Design Team. He will be taking over Clip of the Month so I hope he does an excellent job. His new responsibilities will be: Manage forum and community website themes and layouts Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc) Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc) Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) Last but not least, we will be promoting a new member of the community to this team. He's new but we are going to be giving him a shot. Who knows, maybe he'll end up being as great as the rest of our members. Congratulations to CptFlynt on his promotion to the Modding Team. His new responsibilities will include: Work with the Administrative Team to find and fix errors and exploits found in maps, models, textures, etc. Creating and developing projects for the servers including maps, models, textures, etc. Arming requested maps for use on the servers. Porting popular maps and models from other games to CS:GO for use on the servers. Work with the Media Team to develop graphics for completed projects. Work with the Administrative Team and Events Team for the production of event based projects. Quick shoutout to Poke for this bribe. He wouldn't have gotten promoted otherwise.

Elantra Sport update! I ordered a short ram intake and an intercooler resonator delete from SXTH element last week. It came in yesterday and I just had to install it ASAP. I'm a butthurt for this company. They make some pretty awesome parts; i'm just a massive fan. Anyways, I put it in today and I took some before and after pics. I'm installing the intercooler resonator delete pipe this Saturday. I'm loving this thing so much. Totally worth the money spent because every time I do a pull I get a massive smile on my face. That PSSHHH sound just makes me happy. I will probably do an exhaust this summer but I like how it sounds. Also looking at doing an external BOV and some solenoid upgrades. I got a little confused. Let me clarify. This change is also taking place for Squad and Rust admin applications. If you are a Squad administrator, you can vote on Squad admin applications. If you are a Rust administrator, you can vote on Rust admin applications. CSGO Administrators cannot vote on Rust or Squad admin applications unless they are an administrator of either game. The same goes for Rust or Squad administrators.

Hello everyone, I remembered to make this thread a bit earlier than last month. This gentleman has been an exemplary member of the community both before joining the Modding Team and after. He is the sole reason as to why we even launched our Crackhouse server because he was the one that ported it over! Some might say he is better than Scrolls and that might be the case but I don't want Scrolls to kill himself. Whether he's porting maps over or sending out map fixes, this guy never stops grinding. Please join me in congratulating @3nifor achieving Staff of the Month! Now, onto the member of the month portion of this post. This guy may have had a troubled past here but he has turned that around and has become a great and active regular for our Rust server. He is extremely supportive of the server and is constantly helping both managers out by keeping the population of the server up. Hello everyone. After some further discussion, the Board has decided to allow CS:GO Server Administrators vote on admin applications. We are going to have the Community Advisors work alongside the server admins in order to get well written responses. Admin applications and votes will remain public.

MAGIX Fastcut is good for fast editing or cutting clips together. I typically use it whenever I don't feel like booting up Sony Vegas. It's made by the same people I think. The software isn't that sophisticated so you don't have all the functions or features that Sony Vegas has. You cannot text track in Fastcut, afaik. I picked it up for $1 from a HumbleBundle deal. You might be able to find it somewhere. Other than that, I would recommend Sony Vegas 16 or Adobe Premier. What's cool about Premier is that you can attach text to a certain pixel and it will try to follow that pixel instead of you having to manually move the text. It works off of colors or some magic like that, idk.

I have a brother in elementary school and a brother in high school and our school district is going back to school in April. My mom is keeping them home because she doesn't want to risk it. Doesn't make sense to me that we should open the schools back up just because the cases are decreasing. Send them back and then what? Watch the cases go back up? lol. It's projected that a majority of the country will be vaccinated by August or September. I don't think we should risk sending people back to school for the ~2 months left in the school year. There is an option to remain entirely virtual here though.
