I'm extremely passionate towards Teamspeak and I agree that a move to Discord would help us expand but I don't think getting rid of TS for Discord would be healthy. Some people like Teamspeak more than they like Discord and if we were to get rid of TS, those people will probably never end up using the Discord. You could say that the reason why no one uses the SG Discord to talk is because we have a Teamspeak but I think it's because there is a clear preference for Teamspeak. A lot of the people in our Teamspeak sit in a private channel with their friends. They talk with who they want to talk. There is nothing stopping people from quitting Teamspeak and hopping into our Discord voice channels. They simply prefer Teamspeak. Some people will end up using the Discord and others will split off and make their own with their friends thus killing the community in a sense. It's already happening now but the problem will get worse. It isn't preventable in either scenario and we aren't going to force anybody to use any of our platforms I know that the last time that this was introduced it was kind of forced on everybody and maybe that is what caused the distaste towards Discord but what changed in a year? I agree that a move to Discord would definitely help us expand our community but I do not think it would work as well as we would hope.

Garry's Mod PonyRP is finally here! Shoutout to @BoM for the splendid banner! eXtr3m3 and I have been working on PonyRP for a couple of months now and we are very excited to finally release it. He may no longer be here but it was his dying wish to release this and I took it upon myself to finish up whatever was left and release it in his honor. For a while, people thought we were joking about releasing PonyRP but who is laughing now? I promised him that we would get this out. There are many ponies that you can choose from. We spent some BIG bucks on these pony models so we hope you guys appreciate them. We also have plenty of jobs to choose from that I will list below. Unfortunately, we could not get the greenlight from Caution to add the clopper job. Something about it being too obscene.. Anyways, I listed the job list and a couple of teaser screenshots below. So.. What is PonyRP? This server is mine and eXtr3m3's love child. We spent many nights working on this, sometimes staying up until 4 in the morning. @roux would pop in sometimes and give us his insight because he is a Pony connoisseur. We poured our blood, sweat, and tears into it. We added a fully custom Pony Economy with a working Pony Stock Market because we thought it would make sense. A lot of other people worked on the server with us but they asked to remain anonymous. Around $1,500 of our own money was put into developing this and that went towards custom models, paying people to make super custom scripts such as /fart which puffs out some rainbow stuff (it consists of 600 lines of code) and /neigh (that one has 900 lines of code), and a plethora of other things. We expect this to pass Jailbreak and TTT in rankings and become our top server. Hope you guys enjoy! We will be running several mini events including a movie night throughout the week. A thread for the event of the day will be posted accordingly. Participants will have a chance to win some really awesome prizes in the raffle. We will be giving away 3 games at first and once we reach the donation goal, we'll be giving away more games. Hopefully, we can all get together as one and have some fun while everyone else is going crazy. Some of the events have limited slots so make sure you get there before it fills up! Prizes We are going to be raffling away some awesome prizes. In order to win these prizes all you have to do is participate in the events and submit screenshot proof in the thread of the event. You will NOT be entered into the raffle if you don't submit a screenshot. For every screenshot, you will receive 1 raffle ticket. For example, if you only submit screenshots of Bedwars and Sumo, you will only receive 2 raffle tickets. The most amount of raffle tickets one could receive is 7, unless we reach the donation goals. We'll be giving away even more games once we reach a certain donation goal. We are going to start off with these three titles and once we reach the donation goal of $100, we'll move onto the next tier. For every tier we reach, everybody participating will receive +2 raffle points. All of the money donated during the week goes towards unlocking more games!

The power to join private channels were removed from ATs because it was becoming a problem. A couple of people were abusing the power and it was decided that it would be removed from the whole rank. That isn't a problem with the current IA team. We all ask before we join channels, we don't join a channel without permission. It may have happened a couple of times but for the most part we always ask the channel admin for permission. Half of the time, IA+ just sit in a staff channel either muted or talking to someone. Whenever we want to speak to someone we ask them if they are busy and then we move them in. There are many situations in which we have to join a private channel. If we were to have to de-escalate a situation, we'd have to join. If someone asks us to join the channel and speak to them, we would have to join. It's more convenient for us to join a private channel to handle minor things than to constantly move people in and out of a channel. If you are asking for the ability to join private channels to be removed, that's probably not going to happen. If you're asking for the ability to move people out of private channels, that's probably not going to happen.

There are a total of 247 maps on the server. Tier 1 - 37 maps Tier 2 - 64 maps Tier 3 - 73 maps Tier 4 - 40 maps Tier 5 - 23 maps Tier 6 - 10 maps The 620 or 660 map total in the percentage is incorrect because it counts every record made on every map that was on the server ever since the timer was installed. So in total, there have been ~600 maps on the server and records have been entered for all of those maps. I'll look into making it so that it only counts stats for the maps in rotation. It's been a pet peeve of mine for months now.

We're looking into using Discord for streaming movies. It's on the table and it'll happen soon, don't worry.
