  1. Thank you for the update, if you need any help with this I'm pretty proficient in coding and stuff with plugins and such, feel free to message me on steam
  2. I think a good middle ground would be to have so that Last CT cant "CAMP" vents or armory, but can feel free to check them for a short amount of time for rebellers, but then go right back out and enforce their orders elsewhere. I think we should also expand this to secrets as well, because someone could easily camp AWP window, or the space above soccer door on the respective VIP maps and say "well I wasn't in vents or armory so". I understand the dilemma on finding a difficult perfect rule regarding this. Maybe call an informal meeting between active JB players interested in putting their input on TS sometime soon?
  3. I understand that, and I went there and got what I needed, but I'm just pointing out that !faq needs to be fixed or the reference for it needs to be removed from !rules
  4. The thread title basically sums it all up. When I tried to look in !faq for further explanation on something, the command didn't work.
  5. Hello everyone, It has come to my attention that recently I've been seeing a lot of CT's camp armory as last CT, and give a freeday and claim they aren't delaying. As the rule states (or something very close to it): "Last CT can camp armory as long as they are not delaying." I think it would be a good idea to amend this rule to where CT's can not camp armory as last CT, as in most cases they are actually delaying, especially when they give a freeday for an excuse to sit in armory and wait to see if any T is dumb enough to go in. Please share your thoughts on this, but I think it would speed up quite a few rounds and make the game more enjoyable and exciting for players and spectators. ~Phoenix
  6. Also I've made a discord where everyone will be for the game. Please join it. https://discord.gg/KhZNxNx
  7. If a field marshal is controlling an army, the field marshal traits do not apply. They've got a red coloration to them, and say they aren't applied when controlling an army or something. I didn't know if people on SG played HOI4 or not. I'll post it in a HOI4 server to get more players. I will also be removing RT56. You are right that it would make everything op. Just having no div limit +plc would be enough. I can easily get a full 30 players when reaching to a HOI4 discord or two. Also in base game trotsky is a risky strat now and not OP. I will keep you updated.
  8. Trotsky is OP, yes. China is always broken. cheating out AI wouldn't be a problem, if the amount of players was good. no div limit just restores the game like it was before waking the tiger. HOI4 is $11 USD on G2A. You're in for Soviets.
  9. Good Afternoon (Or Morning, or Evening), I am here to announce I am hosting a massive MP for the Steam game Hearts Of Iron IV. Here's the breakdown: What exactly IS Hearts of Iron 4, you may ask? If you don't know what HOI4 is, heres a TLDR of what it is- HOI4 is essentially a World War 2 simulation type game, where time period can vary through mods. It's a strategy game which can be both serious and non-serious. Is the game going to be serious or non-serious? I plan to have the game be a happy medium of both rules that will prevent people from ruining the game for everyone, but there will still be room for memes and random fun for everyone. How many people do you plan on having in the game? I plan on having somewhere between 20-30 people in the game, depending on people's availability and how many people sign up for this. When will the game be? Sunday, August 12th, starting 12PM Eastern Standard Time, but I would ask people gather in the discord around an hour before so we can start as close to on time as possible. What mods will be used? Player Led Peace Conferences and No Division Limit. These will prevent puppets from doing weird things, and allow any newer player to have ease managing armies. How long will the game last? Depending on the skill of the players and how balanced the sides are, the game could take between 3-7 hours time. Are you a reliable host? With far too much time on my hands, good internet, and over 900 hours in the game, I am both a reliable player and host. How do I sign up? Just simply reply to this post with what country you would like to play. I will make a list of countries I will allow in the next section, the italicised countries being majors, which I would require someone with 100+ hours to play, anything else is open to everyone. Country List- United States of America- France- United Kingdom- German Reich- Italy- Soviet Union- LargeAll Japan- China- Phoenix (me) Spain- Canada- British Raj- Australia- New Zealand- South Africa- Mexico- Brazil- Turkey- Hungary- Romania- Greece- Bulgaria- People's Republic of China- Siam (present-day Thailand) - Philippines- Iran- Ethiopia (must be puppeted by Italy)- Sweden- Finland- Norway- Demark- Belgium (wouldn't recommend)- Netherlands (would only recommend if you went Dutch Rijk)- Portugal- Argentina- These are the only countries I am allowing, and they are first come, first serve. What are the rules? Most importantly, we have the rules. 1. All majors (par China and Japan) must stay their original ideology. 2. Japan may only go non-aligned if they change ideology. 3. No disbanding the Allies, Comintern, or the Axis. 4. No randomly spiking world tension, such as Spain justifying war on Portugal in 1936. 5. One country may only send volunteers to one other country at a time. 6. No sending tank volunteers in the Spanish civil war, or the Sino-Japanese war. 7. No sending volunteers to Ethiopia in the Italian-Ethiopian war. 8. No staging a coup d'etat in another country, player or AI controlled. 9. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MAJOR IF YOU CAN NOT STAY FOR UP TO 7 HOURS! 10. No deleting your entire army. 11. No glitches or exploits, or you will be immediately banned from the game. 12. You may only release one puppet per year, as it can break the game if done faster. 13. ENG + FRA may NOT deny the Rhineland or the Sudetenland (London Conference). 14. No justifying on nations you don't have cores or claims on, unless through focus until Germany does Danzig or war/ Danzig for Slovakia, or 1940. 15. No releasing nations while at war with someone. 16. Lastly, and most importantly, don't be a douche. This can be a whole lot of fun! Please sign up and if you have any questions about anything, feel free to add me on steam: https://steamcommunity.com/id/bluephoenixx/
  10. As someone who before recently becoming consistantly active, who would join and come back at differing times to different rule changes, I think this would be a very good addition to the rules. BUT, I do not think breaking vents in cells or the wall that can be broken in razer should be considered kos, as sometimes I will break them and not even use them. The official rule that I think would add some ease for CTs in many T-sided maps would be any vent/ "vent-wall", for lack of a better term, broken outside of cells would make the T KOS.
  11. I agree with the HTML thing, but perhaps you could try uninstalling steam, and either updating your computer (if you can) or reverting to the version prior to the one you are on right now (I have windows 10, so I'm not sure of the current version of windows 8). Maybe you could also try looking at steam on a different computer or mobile device and calling customer support?
  12. To whom it may concern, Education requires a revolution. Simple statement, right? But no, something that sounds so simple requires so much work. Breaking a system that's been left unchanged for more than a century and a half is something that requires so much more. Today, students are taught about the events that happened and things that were discovered in the past. Some subjects taught that were created in the past are important, don't get me wrong... but wouldn't it be right to teach about what's happening now and what could happen in the future? Think about it, many people say that one can't move on from the past if they can't live in the now, so why teach students of only the past. Sure, math is important to almost every job, but why teach calculus to someone who wants to go to culinary school? Some say the reason students are taught history is so that history doesn't repeat itself, but think about it, isn't history repeating itself if students are taught the same curriculum year after year? And why teach students information they'll just forget about after a final exam at the end of the year compared to something that they'll need later on in their life, like how to pay taxes, how to interview for a job, or how to do everyday tasks that some people don't know how to do because they never learned how to? In 20 years, I'm gonna be focused on who to vote for in the election, paying my taxes, and raising a family, not how that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. Students need to be taught how to live and function in the real world, not how the world functioned and lived in the past because society has moved on from those ways of life and into a new era of technology. Some people are extremely intelligent but don't get the grades that make them seem that way because they don't understand how it's being taught, don't test well, or are completely over flooded by homework, instead of being given more time to study for a test they may do a little better on if they didn't have to focus on those 50 math problems that took 2 hours away from their night that could have been spent reviewing? Why even bother studying if the students are just going to be told what to think, preparing them for adulthood for manipulated media. Statistics show that the United States has the 14th best education system in the world the way that it is. Countries such as South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and Finland rank in the Top 5 best education systems in the world. With shorter school days and a more individualized approach, that's how those systems are so successful. Providing more individualized learning would make education more successful and have more students want to work together and succeed, not drop out and do nothing with their lives. Thank you.

Personally, out of these choices, I would go for the iBuyPower. It looks like it's the best one you would get for your money.

  24. Ah, CS:GO, home of the most rage inducing hitboxes, game-breaking updates, and probably the most toxic and cancerous community of all games. Why is this community so toxic? I ask myself that a lot too, and I think I can explain to some extent why this community is so bad. Now, before I break down the bad, let me talk about the good. There are players that just want to play the game as it was meant to be played, as a team and for the love of the game, and I thank those people for existing. Now, here's the classes of cancer and the breakdown of them: (Most) 12 years old and under- Just want to blend in by swearing excessively and want to seem "cool" by doing so. 97% of them have banged your mom last night and will say that you suck and will tell them to suck their non-existent dick The f*ckboys- Talk about how many girls they have hit with and if there's a girl in the game, will try to get their number/nudes. The Russians- Can be either good or bad. Can be cooperative and know English or not know any English and just buy p90s. The Uncooperative teammates- Every. F*cking silver
