  1. When you join the server, it automatically tells you to press f1 if you're new. I guess it's like a flippin motd though. Nobody actually bothers to read it and clicks to close it instantly. The reason for the 24 slots is because it is quite populated and full in the evenings. Hell if it stays full at 24, could bump it up to 28. 24 slots would be 6 traitors, 3 detectives and 15 innocents. The extra detective should make it fair. As for the server crashing, it's hard to correlate whether its maps or the server. I know christmas town was crashing it so I removed that. I also know richland has traps that can cause the server to crash too. However on such maps like bank, which could be the map for all I know, has crashed the server aswell, but not often. I can't remember a time when the server has crashed on one of the cs or de maps. Thething seems pretty stable too. Also to make custom weps, it's something called SWEPS. You can check out http://www.garrysmod.org but I've not looked to deeply into it. You could also check out youtube for some tutorials. Regardless of what some people want, I am thinking of producing some rules, just to clarify cases where people have rdm'd when they shouldn't. I'll also provide a thread in the SA section for admins and the commands. Possibly a clarification on the ulx and sourcemod addons, since both work together. Since apprentices don't have access to the server admin forum either, pm me with your steam ID and your in-game name so I can add you. It's hard to keep track of who wants added and who doesn't. Also normal server admins, remember there is a stickied thread where you can post for admin access. Some people have also posted some more maps for ttt. I'll try those soon. Right now I'm busy with exams and need to focus on them. My last one is on the 30th, so once it's done I can pretty much switch my focus onto ttt.

  3. Who out of you who want new weps, are prepared to even take the time to learn how to make them? Anyway, server might be getting increased to 24 slots, I've been trying and trying to get a map vote to work with round limit but it's being a pain in the arse. There might be an update for ttt which should be installed soon.

  7. The map system was broken but I dealt with it for now. The problem was that the sourcemod random map picker was over writing the mapcycle.txt which is what was originally used. Not every map was put on the random map rotation, so I just took it out all together and kept to the original. I have seen westwood played on rotation, cause it did it earlier today. I'm thinking of actually making the map changing a vote, rather than automatic. That way we will get to play the maps we want, and the notorious server crashing means we won't be forced to keep playing the same maps over and over. Some maps will also get removed, and some more will be added.
  8. Posting this here, since I know it will get read a lot. (Besides who gives a fuck) I know the server is quite popular at the moment, and I want to keep it that way. I know mNote has done a lot for it but now I'm taking care of it. mNote will also be doing things here and there but the reason I'm making this thread is because I want to know what you would like to change in TTT. Baring in mind this is just a thread to look at some ideas, not everything you want will come true. Basically it can be anything. Here are some examples to get you started: - More/Less maps? - More traitor/detective items? - A longer clarification of rules in the MOTD. - Perhaps a definite definition of rules can be discussed here? - Maps that need more/less guns added/needed? - Max traitors allowed/detectives allowed. etc etc. It might be a bit difficult to think of but any suggestion you have to better the TTT server, say it here. Some things which you may think are not possible to change, say I dunno, the max karma you're allowed, is actually possible to change. Get your thinking caps on for me, and get some detail in your suggestions. Thanks to all who contribute

  16. Clue pak is rearmed so I'm not removing that. If you want Erebus removed make a separate thread for it.
  17. Title of this thread says electric_razor_v7 when in fact it's jb_razor_electric_beta2 and I just added beta 4. So the later version is already on.

  21. Well actually this is a really good map, it is just a shame the map maker has not completely finished it. If someone wants to edit this map, all they'd have to do is give access to areas blocked off by invisible walls and locked doors etc. Until then this version will remain.
  22. If I had followed that, I woulda failed. Luckily I figured it out myself. Clue Pak is rearmed and I don't see much wrong with it now. The map is alright for traitors imo. Erebus has loads of guns around you just gotta find them. Erebus is also fairly big aswell.
