The difference between TTT and JB is that TTT has a clear set of principles that can be identified by the karma plugin that is good or bad. Our CS:GO TTT's plugin of karma was originally a method on GMOD TTT for the server to automatically administrate, often giving players a timeout for being under a certain Karma. This plugin was very successful because of this, as the only negative externality came when things like rankings for RDM came into effect. This same difference I mentioned in my first post is that on Jailbreak you cannot really tell whether someone is playing correctly on CT side by taking solely kills into account, but there are numbers that you could take to make an educated guess. These ways while not fully reliable form an algorithm of sorts if you take administration into account, and the fact that our server has rules.
The way for CT's to earn these things in a more reliable, concrete way are things like earning a good chunk of points for winning a round, winning a last request, spending time on the CT team, earning a small amount of points for kills. I agree with you that this might enable some people to play with a more competitive edge even possibly trying to cut around rules or actually break them in some instances. I would argue that while that situation would happen in off-hand instances that the positive externalities that would come from this are better CT's, a much more populated server, and players that are more willing to hold each other accountable for their actions. This all isn't to say that I completely disagree with you (I was very against the TTT Karma plugin back in 2016), but I think putting a ranking system on JB has benefits that far outweigh the cost. Anyone who would decide to start ruining people's time on the server in the name of points would be dealt with as they usually are, and the people who really do want to wreak havoc I doubt really give a shit about their rank on our server in the first place. Separating the teams really fixes the issue in a lot of ways, but also I don't see how even if we did decide to clump it all in one why this type of thing is any worse than gameME stats.
If more people express your concern I honest to god won't go ahead with drafting anything up, but I don't feel like it's a serious issue.
