I'd love to try that out, I actually don't own CS:S or GMOD but I'd defiantly be down to get either of those games if this becomes an actual SG server. Even if you wanted to trial run it, I'd be down to getting the games.

Since this thread is a hot topic, I'd like to ask a simple question. I have been killed numerous times, now although this is cutting the rule quite close I want clarification. When a CT says "All Ts Freeze!" is no jumping implied or do they have to mention that as well similar to the crouch walking order? I have been told that jumping and looking around is allowed while that order is in play but only if they say "Freeze" and not "AFK Freeze".

Funkyfingers, I personally work in the fast food chain similar to BK. All "corporate" restaurants go through the same process of training course. You must complete hours upon hours of digital learning of how to wash your hands, make burgers, etc. Don't overthink it. After you are done with the training course, you will have several days that one of your co-workers will personally train you your whole shift. Teaching you all of the buttons on the register to setting customers orders. Whatever you are stressing about don't, the only thing that was hard at first was the social interaction. That goes away after the first few weeks though.

I exaggerated a little bit saying it was flawless but it defiantly was a good game all the way to the last few seconds. Especially at the end when the Cowboys called the timeout so the play didn't count but the Packers ended up doing it again to catch the victory.

Clearly Green Bay is going all the way, if you witnessed sundays game they were just flawless.

There could be ways around that such as typing in chat or switching from different players if the plugin could pick up those little things that could prevent them from getting kicked. I would prefer if the specs could get kicked after a certain amount of time so more players could be actively participating in the game.

Although I agree the more playtime on certain servers that would unlock VIP skins would benefit the player-base, I would highly suggest adding it to all of the servers (Mainly TTT, MG) rather than just ZE.

I'd actually be interested in getting the game, but with my computer I'm not sure if it'd be able to run it.

Let's be honest here, most people will only give you their true input once you post your admin application. There really isn't much you can say until the time comes. My suggestion to you is follow the guide @Leon Mordecai wrote. You may come across that not everyone knows you in the community. One of the most important things you should focus on is becoming a positive influence to the players around you. Once the community sees you are making an effort for the positon, not only showing admin qualities, but also getting your name out there in a positive way, helping players on the servers, teamspeak, and forums then you should consider applying for admin. Until then continue being you my dude, don't try to fake it. The community will KNOW!

I can agree download times will be an issue, but I'd suggest replacing the current store items with all new items to give the server a fresh new look.

To be quite honest, I have been in and out of JB the past few days. I will say there has been at least one admin on each time during my playtime for each of those days. Although I feel the server itself is the issue. It isn't the admins, regulars, or the community itself. The recent rule changes is a big factor to why the server has had so many issues lately. There is a lack of administrators regularly playing on the JB server but that isn't something we can't MAKE the administrators do. If we somehow can change the server to benefit both players and admins it will be beneficial to the community overall, also with @Caution taking over JB I have a good feeling things will defiantly change for the good overall. My suggestion on the other hand, I can admit wasn't very thought out. Considering the responses from the community I can accept that it is already hard enough to become admin there does not need to be a "grace period" on top of it all. Now when an issue arises I do indeed message one of the many admins I have added on steam. I may have went overboard with a member just joining the community for admin rank. This was more so for the newer admins that receive their rank but soon after tend to be a lot less active on the servers. I understand this is a volunteering job but I do agree with what @All Ts mentioned to give more of an incentive to play on servers such as JB for example which rarely has admins on.

Too often do I see members that are active everyday for months, then as soon as they apply for admin (their application is then approved) their activity drops. The idea of bringing a 6 month period for new admins to where they'd need to be active for "x" amount of hours or days per week or month. This will prevent those who join our community just for the admin rank, then as soon as they receive it. They turn into a ghost and you will only see them every so often. Of course it won't be set in stone. If something comes up with the admin in "grace period" and he won't be able to fulfill the required activity he/she due to IRL issues then their rank could be put on hold until further notice. I'm not saying the admin NEEDS to be on 24/7 but to the point where the CA+ can watch how they use their powers. This will not only help with activity of the admin in "grace period" but also determine if they truly deserve that position. Once the admin is out of their grace period they will be free to visit the servers on or off, there won't be a required amount of hours/days they will need to play on the servers.

I figured out that also you could be mentioned in the subscriber only thread. If you are not a subscriber that might be another reason why it could be a hidden mention. Even though all of the members that replied to this thread are subscribers that is just another scenario that I would mention.

This is a good idea actually, the TS channel is quite bland or dull as you could say. If we were to add spacers to specific channels such as what @Insidious mentioned it would defiantly help newer players that join our community navigate through TS. Even though regulars navigate easily from channel to channel overall it would look more clean. The downside is actually taking the time to set it up (I'm not familiar with how to set it up so I can't mention on how long it would take). When I first joined the community I didn't feel comfortable joining random channel due to the fact that I didn't know most of the community members. The interface didn't seem user friendly, and with most of the private channels containing passwords I just decided not to use TS. I'm starting to gradually join on more often and with this addition it might help more community members join our TS server.
