I have noticed and been told multiple times that my microphone quality is bad, I've tried playing with the setting but can't figure out what is wrong with it. I don't have a cheap headset either, I have the Astro a40s which cost $150 or $250 with the mixamp (which I don't have) that being said I was planning on either buying a completely separate microphone to talk from otherwise if someone could help me with my microphone issue. Edit: ill just add that it sounds like a huge fan is blowing into my mic when I talk and it isn't my breathing because even when I am completely silent it still occurs. If there is no resolution for my microphone please post some links on good quality microphones for computers priced at the most $50. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

pretty sure I loaded the wrong demo and I am quite new to surf but I was told by @Gator that you can type !r or !s. Figured since most of the maps teleported you once you fell to the floor. This map also has stages so if you fall on stage 2 you have to restart back to stage 1. Even when you fall to the floor you can BHop and skip some of the map.

Map Removal Full map name surf_water-run_b5 Type of map Surf Why should we remove it When you fall off the edge you do not re-spawn, you have to type kill in console. (It is still playable) Possibly a fix would just be needed. Hopefully it's just internet explorer, I'll update this status if it works with Chrome. Update: I opened this thread in google chrome and the videos pop up so it might have to do with something on your end @SpikedRocker otherwise it is something to do with my internet explorer.

The issue that I don't understand is that it's been working completely fine the entire time I've been on this website but suddenly it turned into blank boxes. I prefer internet explorer because I have my favorites, passwords, etc. its a personal preference.

It isn't as dramatic as the title made it out to be, basically the other day on this website youtube videos show up as big black boxes instead of the actual video itself. I updated my adobe flash player, java, and graphics card. I could of possibly played with the setting and accidently turned something off that I shouldn't have but I can't figure it out and now I am reaching out to see if there are any other possibilities.

Since you have more experience with this map @Dominic I can't give very strong points on why this map should be removed. You are right on that part and I may change my opinion the more I play on the map. Overall the main reason I thought the map should be removed is because since the DGs weren't going to be able to be forced anymore the map wouldn't have as much value. I haven't played on it enough to know all of the DGs or which ones are voluntarily entertaining so I can put solid input on that topic. Since it was always skipped I figured no one enjoyed playing on the map but through the feedback given on this thread I can admit that I was wrong.

The issue I have with this map is that EVERY time I play it, someone always says RTV for a freeday and it eventually gets skipped within a few rounds. I admit I was the one that said I was going to make a thread about this because of the reason it gets skipped every time it is played, I however did not say "its complete shit" that may have been someone else. Anyways the map overall isn't that fun to play on. The ones that say it's easy to rebel, please I don't see how you are saying that when you can't even play on the map if its being skipped. I've probably played on it once or twice for the compete time limit. Also the DGs are going to be useless once the rule is removed, you can't really say "you'll still be able to play them voluntarily" but let's be honest nobody plays DGs by volunteering. Overall the map is basically all DGs. My most important issue is that it isn't fun. Over the past week when I played on this map I haven't seen anyone actually enjoy it. The way our server is (crouch was soccer be in pitch, shift walk pool be in water, etc) it isn't optimal to keep on the server. Most of the players that have been saying this aren't on the forums so I am speaking not only for myself but the ones that play regularly that don't go on the forums. (The children of JB and the ones that aren't interesting in joining the forums) Please hear me out, those who have commented please give me more of a reason why we should keep this map other than "the deathgames are fun) I read over all of your comments and basically that is the only reason I can see. Map Removal Full map name jb_putin_v2 Type of map Jail Break Why should we remove it Basically every time I play on this map it gets voted to skip, Although it depends on which CTs are playing because it is defiantly a CT sided map. Overall it is not beneficial for our server. The look of the entire map is not "prison themed" as well as the entire layout is mainly DGs which are no longer going to be forced. There isn't many places to rebel. It's really irritating having a map that is in the rotation that gets skipped the majority of the time because then the overplayed maps will continuously be in cycle more often which some people find a benefit but it gets stale after a while. Overall please get rid of this map.
