Did you even read the OP? Also new maps are always good for servers because they add variety and hey, you dont know, maybe people will actually enjoy the map and play it as much they do all the other maps

Kinda figured that tbh. But also i feel like youre more suggesting to get rid of the community map votes and maps rather than just do active duty because there are maps like cobble and i think train maybe that arent active duty but people still enjoy playing. (Also just a side note, its annoying to learn new maps but thats what you had to do when you first started playing, and things are fun if you make them fun for yourself)

I was going to make a JB map but I always get sidetracked and never actually do things I want. Had a thread asking this same thing. Personally my favorite things to do are things like surf, or deathcourse or any of those fun type little minigames. The server isnt defined by the maps, its defined by how the players use the map, so if you make a map that has fun minigames and stuff, then people will love to play it, but suggestion would be to make these minigames easily accessible, publicized, and try to limit the amount of deathgames you make. Things like jump rope or colors would be really fun to use if people didnt die from it, however its also good to have a few games where people can die because some people do enjoy that sort of competition and reward.

This has been suggested before and from what I remember is that like Dominic said, theyd be willing to try it out but most other communities that have JailBreak servers use custom plugins for something like this so we dont have any easy way of making this happen. On top of this, the argument against this system was that new people might join and none being able to CT or something like that, but I wouldnt see that as much of a problem as long as we maintain a good population of regulars on the servers

But the Pool catwalk can only lead to KOSable locations then... so in itself it should be KOS sonce the only place it can lead is somewhere thats KOS. Maybe you should read my post back a bit though here it is. It states the whole reason it SHOULD be KOS Oh BTW ik undertale isnt KOS, but theres an area where it leads to armory in the dropper room sooo yeah. Also by your logic if im a catwalk in a room thats not connecting real close to armory then its KOS even though it only brings me to armory eventually, but wont until i go to a more obvious area

So Im allowed to go on any catwalk thats not in the same room as armory even though it can easily lead me to armory and I wont be KOS. Thanks for letting me know. Next time Im on undertale, or Black Ops Ill go on any catwalk not in Main Cell and you wont be able to kill me. Thanks for the help!!

The platform is KOS but you obviously dont HAVE to kill them for being on it. If you want to warning shot them then thats fine, be a nice CT. But you also have the option to kill them for being up there since there is absolutely NO REASON for them to be up there. The ways to get there are two KOS secrets, going from a KOS catwalk in maincell ir strafing from the pool diving board. Since this area can ONLY lead to KOSable areas, why should it not be KOS itself? Your argument is “oh main cell floor is KOS by your logic”. No, its not. Main cell floor leads to areas like disco, VIP, soccer, POOL!!!, medic, sauna. So many other places thats ARENT KOS. Catwalks that lead to armory are KOS and this catwalk clearly leads to armory since the only two places to go from it are into pool which isnt KOS or to armory which IS KOS. Nine times out of ten, those Ts are only up there to rebel and kill the CTs so theres no reason to not give them the option to kill them for it. Although it is KOS as I said twice already now, you DONT HAVE TO KILL THEM. That KOS is completely up to you whether to enforce or not. If you want to warning shot them and tell them to get down, thats your risk youre taking but dont expect everyone else to do the same exact rhing you do.

Player complaints arent a waste if thats what youre saying btw (idk if you are). They allow the person to be banned after the fact, but it also shows them that admin or not they shouldnt break rules. Also it can lead to multiple bans/strikes and lead to a perm ban eventually on the person (keyword is CAN, not that it WILL). Also if an admin isnt responding to !calladmin for a while you should try getting someone one via steam message, shoutbox, teamspeak or anything really. Theres multiple ways to get an admin to come deal with the problem but the issue is that people are too lazy to go those alternative rroots and would rather complain that admins never come when theyre needed.

Its accessible to admins only so that way it cant be abused by any new players or even regulars that just want to troll

I think it should be KOS because it DOES lead to armory. This on top of the fact that it is an area that is meant to only be accessible by the CTs, otherwise there would be a button on the door at the bottom of the ramps for people to open it from the outside. The diving board strafe isnt a secret, but it leads to the deagle on the catwalk room, and if the Ts decide to venture far enough then they can be rewarded with access to armory or even a scout secret. Kind of doesnt make sense to have it not be KOS when its restricted in a CT area and it leads to so many oppoprtunities for people to get guns. Also just because it is KOS doesnt mean they HAVE to kill you for it. Generally from what I see is that people only kill the Ts up on catwalks when they feel threatened or want the points, otherwise its usually just HEY Get off the catwalk.

This would be a super fun event!!! 100% would want this!!! Althoguh, obviously some rules would have to be set in place for what would be allowed to be said if it were an official steam-gamers event. Also @thoroar darkeyes agrees that it would be fun (too lazy to respond)

Dont think this would be too good because people who want to surf might be forced to bhop and vice versa. Also SG has dedicated servers so it woildnt really effect the cost from what I understand. Overall, dont think this is too good of an idea, and I have thought of it before myself but I just recently realized the small flaw in the system. That and the timer plugins would have to be able to work with both gamemodes

If youre saying that you dont want your hands visible while playing, ZE recently added !hidearms so you wont see your hands while playing the game. To my knowledge this isnt on any of the other servers but it might be possible to add it to them. I dont really know the specifics about how the command runs though

@Gator Just wondering if the new Timer was going to be added soon, or if you were still trying to fix it up a bit. It seemed fine the way you had it, just was curious as to why it wasnt put on the actual Surf Server yet

@MaXiMuM This thread here was recently made. The whole Golden Knife overriding the regular knife skin is as of right now, pretty hard/impossible to do and probably wont be fixed for a while.
