Bumping this thread. The OP has some pretty cool event ideas and Im sure you guys have even more you can think of. I would love to hear some feedback on what sort of events you guys would like to see happen in the future, as we're going to be trying to pushing holding events on a more regular basis to keep some variety in the server. Feel free to share your ideas, as well as what events you have liked, and would like to see done

Sorry about the crash at the end, it seems that our plugins and cvars for our ZM maps got broken in the latest updates of csgo without our knowing. For those of you wondering, these are the decisions that were made on the maps tested Added ze_pokemon_rivals_v1_8 ze_chaos_v3 ze_eternal_grove_v3 Admin Map ze_necromanteion_v2_5 Under Review zm_mini_polygon_v3 zm_dacha_rebuild_v2 Again, sorry for the issue with the ZM maps. We're going to look into it and hopefully fix the problem ASAP.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the VIP event. Was a lot of fun. We ended up starting with ze_paul_test to introduce the gamemode first, and from there it just got more fun with the weapon restrictions. Failnades we're unfortunately borked until the last map where Wesker came in with the clutch fun time ending. We have the map testing at 2:30 pm EST tomorrow, Sunday August 19. VIP ESCAPE EVENT IS STARTING IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES!!

ZE MVP WEEKED EVENTS Hey there ZE nerds! Its been a while since we've had some fun ZE events to go around, so its time to give all you tryhards a break! We're going to be having a few events this weekend to make up some lost time and hopefully populate the server more. The following events that will be occurring this weekend are these: PUBLIC PLAYER MODEL PEPE Thats right folks, for the entirety of this weekend, the public player models will include Pepe The Frog in place of the default Shadow Company Public skin you all know and love. Get your meme on and enjoy some Pepe in your stepe this weekend on ZE! VIP EXTRACTION SATURDAY 18 @ 2:30 PM EST What is VIP? VIP is a game mode within the Zombie Escape server that was originally introduced by Crazy Swede. The game mode randomly select a player from the Human team to be the VIP of the round. The VIP is very valuable and crucial to the humans, so the objective and goal of the humans will be to protect the said VIP. If the VIP dies, the rounds ends and the Zombies win. In short, a human is selected a VIP at the start of the round, humans must protect the VIP while going through the map, if the VIP dies, zombies win. How do I know who the VIP is? The VIP will be on top of the scoreboard and will have a [VIP] tag in-front of their name. They will also be a pop up in chat that express who the VIP is, as well as a custom player skin/model. The VIP will also only have a secondary weapon. MORE FUN FOR THE EVENT Restricted PP Bizon Restricted Negev Fail Nades Enabled Map Rotation ze_shroomforest2_p6 ze_destruction_of_exorath_v4_lite MAP TESTING EVENT #3 SUNDAY AUGUST 19 @ 2:30 PM EST So if you haven't noticed, there's still quite a few ZE maps in the map suggestion area to test (or re-test again one last time). So rather than doing them all separately, we're going to test them all at once along with some extra maps that I need to test. I have a few friends who dont take ther shoes off normally when they walk indoors. Sometimes they do eventually to relax more but generally they domt and i try to unless im going in the back door or something which i tend to eventually take them off unless it just seems uncomfortable. I always got yelled at to have my shows off in my house as good manners and to not track dirt or mud in the house. Cant say for sure but I think it just generally has to do with if that house feels like a home or just another place to walk into such as a store

I like the idea of changing up the ranking system and everything to better suit the population. It would make sense to make the T ranks based upon kill oriented points as that is their main objective, to rebel. For the CTs I would have to advise against any sort of point bonus for CTs killing prisoners, as this would encourage freekilling just to get more points and climb the ranks higher. The CT ranking would probably be better based upon what you said, with CTs winning the round, and gaining points. This is a rough draft of my idea how the rank system should work. CT Ranks 3 Points for round win 3 Points for surviving CT win 2 Points for surviving draw round 1 Point for dying on CT win -2 Point for dying T Ranks 1 Point per kill 2 Points for triple kill 3 Points for five kills 3 Points for surviving round win 2 Points for knife kill -2 Points for dying Again this is just my little take on the whole idea, and the numbers/ways of earning points I think is a good idea, but you guys having more experience on the server might think otherwise. Another thing I think might be cool to implement, if possible, is point rewards for winning a Last Request, such as 2 points awarded for whoever wins, although this may encourage some people to delay more and not try to rebel.

Im pretty sure the CTs guns disappear after they slay themselves with console. I think its only when they die from Ts or something like fall damage that their guns drop. At least thats what I remember reading a few months ago when that suggestion was brought up at some point (i might be crazy). It might be when admins !slay them
