When? Saturday November 10, 2018 @ 7PM EST Where? SG Zombie Escape Server IP: 70.42.74.162:27015 What is VIP Escape? VIP Escape is a gamemode introduced to the Zombie Escape Server back in 2016. The game randomly selects a number of humans to be the VIPs for that round. The VIPs are a very important and crucial part of this gamemode, and it is the humans job to protect them and make sure they reach the end of the map. If all of the VIPs die, then humans lose the round, and must restart in another attempt with different randomly selected VIPs. Who is the VIP? The VIP can be identified by one of two ways, by player model or by scoreboard. When VIPs are selected, the game will announce in chat who the chosen VIPs are for that round, as well as give them a [VIP] tag on the top of the scoreboard. The VIPs will only have access to secondary weapons, so it is crucial that they are given proper protection. The second identifier is through their assigned player model. What else? Pretty much what you just said. Hopefully we have enough people to play a custom game, otherwise we'll be going around the public lobbies in order to get enough people to play. I would like to keep it custom if possible so we can have and screw around without being reported for griefing / throwing

Town of Salem is an online multiplayer game placed during the witch trials of Salem. Every player is assigned a different role, and their goal is to either catch the bad guys or kill all the good. This WAS a free to play game up until last friday, which unfortunately was when they moved this to a pay to play only game. The game can be found at https://blankmediagames.com/TownOfSalem, on the Steam Market, or on the iOS or Google Play Store. Any players who have an account and have played at least one game, or spent money on the game were grandfathered into the new system, meaning anyone who has played it before doesn't have to suddenly pay money to play. More information can be found on this change here. This unfortunately means that any of you newbies will have to pay for the game if you wish to attend. The game costs $5 and its worth from the times you get while playing it with your friends. Reasons to Attend Have great time and laugh with friends on an awesome game. As of now, Id be wanting to just get a small server we can use for events to host, and not anything long term seeing as we have a bad history of minecraft servers, and Id be more wanting to ease into it with some regular events going on. Itd be a bit difficult to set up the whole thing with different gamemodes, and as you stated, maintaining peace and order on the server. That's where hosting things as just a timely event comes into play, where we can just have a fun time for a day or two doing one of these various things on the server every now and again. My way of seeing this is more easing the community into the game and seeing where our current playerbase stands with it, as we would need a successful server to keep it going

What sort of gamemode or event would you guys like to see based around minecraft? couple of ideas ive had is: Mineplex minigames private lobby Minecraft PrisonBreak Maps Build Battle Enderdragon Race Or just fucking around in a server with everyone for a bit with some basic rules

Not positive that JB has this command, but you should be able to do !music and permanently disable it from that menu so you wont ever hear it playing

This could be an issue with the model they are using. Some models dont like to render guns that the person is not holding. The server might also have a nobits plugin to disable extra bits and gizmos in the gamemode such as non used weapons currently to reduce lag. Would have to ask @Im Sad or @Gator about the second bit

Not sure if thats the right map or not, but I think that is the map you're referring to. Someone correct me if im wrong. Either that or its still in rotation, or is a part of the other maps that got removed a few months ago from the server in purging the map pool of lesser played/wanted maps Edit: @Dominic be right about the map.
