This thread just feels like its inevitably going to devolve into what everyone thinks about specific words and what they perceive as racist or not. Obviously leaving this up to admin discretion will cause some issues here and there, and those cases will have to be dealt with at a higher up level of the community. My personal opinion on this is that terms such as the one this thread was made about, being able to be used in a funny joking type style, or being able to used it in a racist, and offensive manner are a matter of your own risk. You can use the word, however in doing so you put the risk up for that word to be interpreted as racist and possibly be banned for it. Just my thoughts about the topic without getting into my personal views on racism itself

Yes, you should post your story a post on this thread. If you have any sort of formatting that you want to see through google docs or anything then feel free to share a link to that as well, but also post the raw text on this thread

Welcome back Steam-Gamers to the sixth story time contest! It's been about nine months since the last one we did, and since christmas and winter are right around the corner its the perfect time for stories. For those of you who don't know how this works, you are given one or more theme(s) and based off of that theme each person writes a creative, well thought out story for the judges. The top 3 stories picked will receive some very nice prizes. Please read the rules and information below before submitting your story. ^^^^^ Will be looking into doing this. I know @diryathing was keeping one for ze a while back, and itd be good to keep with community input and ideas for discussions, and would be very helpful for topics when we host Server Meetings. Obviously theres some things that we want to keep a secret as they shouldn't be shared, or are a surprise for the public in the future, but it wouldn't be bad to have a public list where people can push us to make those changes and actively seek them out

I told @Creten yesterday that I am unable to play fortnite since the recent update due to them breaking the game on college campuses or some shit like that. If he would like to dq us or find another partner, i wouldnt really care. Not sure what the story with casual and blake is right now tho

@PikaJew do you want to write the event thread for us? Lol! That was a great way of suggesting. We will be doing an XMas event sometime and also possiby adding some extra models when it gets closer to xmas

You still have to have 1 month on the forums before being able to apply. This wave of admin apps is most likely in response to the lower post requirement, and Im sure will die down soon. If this change does have a negative effect, we will be changing around some things, and if positive we will be structuring more around it as well

Do I hear FFA Server Awards???? I might start playing this a bit more often since its starting to become populated. Might even get better at aiming, who knows
