  1. Just curious that if this were to happen, what plugins would you guys want, and what could we do in order to keep interest in you playing?
  2. do you know what the exact number of maps the server is saying it has on it? I may have found the issue if the map total is 698 on the server. if its 694 also, then I may know another reason it is broken. seems to be two map cycles on the server. the one that appears to be not in use is registering 351 maps while the one in use has 347 maps from what i found. fix may be as simple as renaming one of the two files, if that doesnt break the server
  3. Dont think this would be hard to do, but I think this may cause unnecessary lag on the server calculating/displaying the points everytime they change. @Agent Wesker would know more about how the plugin works, but its not a bad suggestion, just may not happen for a little while
  4. @Agent Wesker @diryathing @TheCharizard, thoughts on any of these?
  5. Would be possible to make a plugin that grabs a random number and if that number is equal to say 1, then it would execute a command to set credits to 2x for the store. Might be useful for every server during late nights honestly and is a nice little gamble imo. Hard and Extreme are already disabled during those hours due to the playercount needed to be at a certain number. Hard I think is 20, so it could be reached, but I dont see much reason to disable it unless it kills the server during late night while people are choosing it. Dust 2 broke with panorama update (thanks valve for precache issues ), although adding in random maps was an idea Ive had for a while about doing for something like weekdays tuesday thursday The knife only thing I dont understand how that would even work, just seems like a hassle and not worth the time to code I would like keeping nominations especially during those late hours so people can play the maps they want to during late night. The server hard resets at 5am, so all nominations are cleared for the next day in the Recently Played pool. The little collectible idea I really like the thought of, making it so you get a little rank based thing for completing certain challenges, ie. Win x rounds on "mapname" map. And when you reach a certain amount of "points/credits or whatever", you gain a little bonus something for bragging rights or whatnot. The forum-store-credit box thing would be more of a server-wide thing to happen, and I personally dont see it ever happening as it would be too annoying to implement and 1-15 credits isnt much to gain anyway.
  6. Might not even have to make it pop-up on the side by the chat, but it might be possible to make the orders pop up in the notification bubble in CSGO. For those of you who don't know what Im talking about, the little gray text bubble in the middle-bottom of the screen that is generally noticeable to see, it may be possible to add a !co or !chatorder command followed by whatever the user types in chat to appear there in the bubble. Only con I may see of this is the possibility of one order wiping another from being used consecutively too quickly, however this could be fixed with a simple delay on the command of 2-3 second after its use. I agree with the entire proposal that if this were to be implemented, that chat orders would have to go through this command to be enforced specifically through chat, but lets not also forget that a CT on mic can "repeat" an order that was typed in regular chat as an actual order if they wanted it enforced. Obviously this would be labelled as abuse if used too often, or at times that is detrimental to other player's game play and is used as more of an advantage than a communicative device. Could also be more helpful with getting people's attention when there's too many Ts or players talking on mic as well, so thats another plus! One last thought I had was making this a toggle-able command although the issue I see in that is people forgetting they have it on and using it at times they should not be.
  7. Just gonna post my thoughts on here. 1st Topic - Anti-Calladmin Abuse - Im not sure if JB alerts the online admins when someone uses the calladmin function or not, but it might be useful to have happen in order to lessen the load of people doing it, as abusing the calladmin function is against the rules and punishable. - My thought behind how this could be reworked is by possibly grabbing the admin's sourcebans id-name and pinging the discord bot whenever a calladmin is sent with a message saying (admins online: Thrza, Lokibelowkey, DancingMoonLight, Kieran, etc.) and it displayed No Admins Online if none were on the server. On to afk manager/kicker. - Currently ZE utilizes a plugin similar to this where it kicks the afk players sitting in spectate who are not contributing anything to the server except player count and not gameplay. This was more of an issue when we were down at 48 slots and about half our population would be in spec, but now we seem to have 90-95% in game the whole time. - The way the ZE system works is that it only kicks afk players when a certain threshold of players is reached and then kicks all of the players in spec, if they have not joined a team i think a minute after a message is displayed (might be wrong). Admins are also immune to this system, but it wouldnt be as necessary if we had an admins online thing for the calladmin bot.
  8. Thanks to everyone that came out. Had a good time during the first movie a bit (probably shouldntve watched madagascar, and the new rabb.it api fucked us over a lil, sorry). Second movie pretty sure a good time was had, good, funny movie. Thanks for attending!

  11. Personally dont see much reason for there to be a raffle as to who gets the ability to talk and who doesn't. The plugin like gentoo mentioned would be the best version of this imo as it allows anyone to talk during the round but only a certain number of people at a time can be on mic at once. If it was implemented, it obviously would make sense to make CTs immune to the system of getting muted, although idk if it would make sense to add them to the talking queue or not when doing this. It might also be possible to check for someone who is on mic more than 30seconds or so continually, and they could be issues a small mute to allow for someone else to talk, and also cut back on possible micspam. Just my two cents on the matter
  12. I would just like to say that @Exk is pretty damn good at this game and almost won in a shutout, but pichu main cant be beat that easily. Best fuckin damage i did to him was being at 110% and hitting him up to 100% as well then getting DESTROYED for my next two lives. GG man, good luck winning the tournament
  13. You wanna just come back as an AT and do all the maps you request lol
  14. @Korean Ninja, youre welcome. now go tryhard this map and shutup about it please
  15. Should work out for me around 2pm EST on friday.
  16. @Exk lemme know which time you would like to do this weekend. I should be able to do anytime friday-sunday so long as I know ahead of time
  17. that was pretty much my plan if we go through with it lol
  18. I could probably setup a server and maybe run a tournament (however I dont know how well that would work). It might work as an MGT, but I wouldnt want to make it a full time server unless we can show enough interest in the server to be able to bring regs into it, keep it populated, etc. Will discuss this possibility with other people
  19. @vinyl you finally did it! also glad to see you back @DancingMoonLight
  20. I increased the rtv cooldown on map change to 3 minutes instead of 2. hoping this encourages people to give the map a chance and make their own decisions rather than just follow the bandwagon of people who dislike a certain map. Be sure to let me know if this is a good/bad change and we can adjust the value some more if needed
  21. Dont think this would a) be possible as far as i know, and b) have any significant changes in map nominations. People would still have access to do /nominate crazy, using the partial map name function of the nominate command and not have to scroll through the !nominate list. Map diversity is a hard thing to come by on all servers, and the only real way we can encourage different maps is by changing the maps on rotation either weekly or bi-weekly to allow different maps to be played, however this may encourage even more overplaying of some maps when they are avilable. Other than that, the only other way to encourage map diversity is by encouraging people to play a different map they dont know yet
  22. believe @English and I were looking at a time on saturday to do our game. not sure what time
  23. bye wavy!!!! will miss you even though we didnt talk too much unless it was at meetings or on the servers, but youre a great guy and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors
  24. The value for rtv delay currently is set to two minutes, map cooldown is set to somewhere around 25-30 maps i believe. Along with these, rtv currently requires 60% of players in order to initiate a rockthevote. If it fails, the timeout is 4 minutes until the next rtv can be initiated. There are a few options we have to do here. We can increase the rtv delay when the map changes to be longer than 2 minutes, we can increase the map cooldown amount, raise the percentage required for an rtv, or change it to where an rtv changes after the round has ended. Personally, Id like to change it to rtv'ing at round end (although may cause throwing in some cases), and increasing the mapchange rtv to delay to probably four minutes
