I was going into this thinking I wouldn't find anything to agree with you on, but this got me thinking. increasing the time based on server pop is a great idea that doesn't sound too hard to implement. You just need a plugin that updates the server by setting time limit per player. no. all 5 mins all playable without an admin present. you could limit the amount of times a large map is nominated/can be played again, like how we already have a wait time to repeat a map. this way it takes 5 or 6 smaller maps before a large map can be played again. (clouds isnt a large map it would do fine from 5:00)

wot, we want server pop from events as it helps the servers rating. occasionally they make dedicated servers for events, we had one for the deagle only server event. weve also had a server set up for a supporter event recently. not quite what I was going for here. it wouldnt change anything from the normal playstyle of the gamemode. it would change cosmetics and add a form of stat tracking plugin. yeah that why I thought we could have two teams fighting for dominance over the other and tie the skins into it at the same time to make it "more fun".

what are you looking to play, do you want to stream, what's your budget, I assume usa, would you look at second hand parts? look for a 10 series ti, not a 60 ( I dont know anything about radeon stuff but if you google 1070 equivalent radeon it will tell you more) look for a 14 nm (smaller the better) processor with 4 cores and hyperthreading, find good cas latency ram for cheap if you need to upgrade to ddr4 3200Mhz 16Gb (2x8Gb) is enough ram for most uses. speed only matters slightly but theres a Youtube video here talking more about speeds and alot of stuff you want to know is also there on the channel. im not an expert but im happy to jump in a vc and chat about it if you want

I think an event where we create two joinable teams through a plugin, where the two teams could fight for points similar to the gangpoints event or the valentines day event. the two teams would revolve around themed skins for each team. I was thinking something along the lines of Team Anime Vs. Team Cartoon, or Team Superhero's Vs. Team Anime etc. theres even like putin and trump skins we could do Team Feds Vs. Team Streets with crooks vs the gov. Winning team gets something cool. a forums badge or a skin that will be on the server for a month or longer after. (skins should be locked to a team so to use any event skin you have to participate on the respective team) p.s: i was thinking about it a little more and i think the hard part for this is the different teams needing a seperation of skins. my initial idea was being able to play either play side as either team. ie a CT could be either team, but without locking skins to a play side it would be kinda hard to do on jb. it might be easier to implement on TTT where play side doesnt matter, or make it a CT vs. T thing. P.S I posted this before I saw the Race To The Top Event, which is the same premise but macro.

it happens, but not too much. Its a thing of morals, did the t drop it as soon as they could? yes? I should probably let them live. if people arent doing that you can always send them a suggestion that they could pardon next time, or suggest they relax a little and remember that everyone is trying to have fun. This. to not quote the rules; gunplanting can happen from a T or a CT. A CT getting killed and dropping a gun to a separate T who isn't kos, is still gunplanting if it didnt touch the ground. the only way I can see an actual rule being made for this is something along the lines of primaries are KOS unless dropped into a stack. that way, if they are stacked CTs have to give an order to unstack, giving a chance to drop the primary to the whole stack before anyone can die. BUT: this makes CTs an easy targets in this scenario.

I see this said a lot on admin apps and its made me curious if the converse is true as well. can you put too much effort into an admin app or make it too detailed/long?
