  7. Map Removal Full map name ttt_deadfarm_sg Type of map TTT Why should we remove it Honestly, at first the map was a nice breath of fresh air and added a new feel to our existing map pool. However, this map usually kills the server population. The map is a bit too dark and I think the scary jumps is what causes players to be turned off. This map is also barely played and in my opinion for the right reasons. No one wants to play a map where the corn field is a quarter of the map and a house filled of loud pop ups. I think it was a nice first experience playing the map and having kicks/giggles ,but as a TTT map its not the greatest.
  8. Just downloaded and the map and decided to look around a bit as the pictures don't do justice. Similar to what @Montag said, a lot of the rooms have the same feel as BDcolls map sinking ship. However, I think the map has just enough spacious and smaller junctures that is necessary for a TTT map. There are vantage points that look over the front of the ship and enough smaller rooms for T's to get away with what they do best. The lack of surrounding details is definitely apparent as it's just a floating ship with no real sophisticated background except a blue sky. The inner workings of the ship however are much more detailed and seem to have logical reasoning behind where certain things are placed. This map definitely needs more finesse and creativity when it comes to the general look of the map however, I do think its worth trying out. I think this map checks off in what I see is important on a TTT map ,but just lacks in general look.
  9. I think you might've misread what I wrote, I never said that they should be removed ,but that they are severely underwhelming compared to the other T items that are available. The reason why I brought this whole section up was that I think this change in armor would help bring back the relevance of other T items because it would force players to think outside the box. For example, mowing down 3 people wouldn't be as easy any more if innos had armor meaning that maybe buying a teleporter and picking people off would become more viable. This is just one example that I could think of off the top of my head. I guess the argument im trying to emphasize is that TTT is a game mode that is too heavily dependent on aim atm. I understand TTT gmod and TTT csgo are two separate things ,but I feel as if the true game mode has shifted too much into csgo. Having good aim outweighs having wit or playing smart atm. Also the whole argument of giving innocents armour would just be giving a disadvantage just proves that the csgo mechanic of "aiming" is just broken in TTT. Players should have to compensate lack of aim with being good at the gamemode TTT. People should be rewarded for being able to use the different mechanics that come with TTT and at the moment the rewards for using other mechanics of the game mode are very underwhelming. I think overall making it harder to kill people would bring back the true nature of what TTT should be NOT GMOD TTT cause that's not what im comparing it too, but just the very nature of what the game mode TTT is about. It shouldn't be about gunning down everyone one you see, it should be playing smart and trying to hide your true intentions. Now I understand people are going to say that you'd be restricting a certain style of playing TTT ,but the style of just gunning down everyone is just way overpowered as I mentioned in my original post. @Montag Yes a big portion of my argument is trying to take out a part of csgo and the reasoning for that is because I feel as if the mechanics of csgo is just too overpowered atm. I can see why a big reason you don't want this change is because if armor was added it would make it more difficult for players to try to kill innos, but were not playing TTT to just kill people without thinking. Maybe giving traitors more credits when they spawn, would be something that could help ease players with worse aim and also it would promote players to use the different mechanics that come with TTT. If were playing TTT, we should be trying to use all the mechanics that come with the gamemode and right now thats not the case. Maybe my direction of armor buffing is the wrong way to try to implement/buff different mechanics of TTT ,but I think its worth a shot. Also i just wanted to add that I think some kind of change is needed and this armor buffing was just an idea. Seems to me people are very fixated on this armor buffing ,but I just wanted to stir the pot in getting creative thoughts out. The game mode needs some kind of change in my opinion because all the mechanics of TTT are not being utilized.
  10. Since the TTT karma race has died down and I've gotten some time to chill, I decided to talk about TTT currently and whats to become of it in the future. With a bunch of people recently posting suggestion for TTT it really got me thinking about the game as a whole. I think its fair to say I know the game in and out with my amount of hours and I've gotten to create/learn the so to say "meta" of the game. As of right now the current meta of the game is to buy armor/kevlar in the beginning regardless of whether you're T or detective. This item is just broken at the moment and its just way too good to pass up. Now I understand some people will say that its situational but im speaking in general 9/10 times you're gonna end up buying Kevlar because of the amount of perks that come with it. I think its important for people to also understand that csgo is not like gmod, this game rewards skillful aiming WAY more than playing "sneaky" and deceitful. The way I go around playing TTT recently has been nothing short of un-creative, I buy armor and the closest person I see gets the trigger finger. The reason I can get away with this isn't because i'm a genius at being sneaky,but because my mechanical skill most of the time will bail me out in messy situations. Which then brings me to my point about how unbalanced the game is currently especially for innos. I don't wanna sound cocky or full of myself but if I get roux, mar 1, tides, and or any good regular aimer on TTT on my team, were bound to win 75% of the time. It's not because were amazing at TTT, its because were good at CSGO (aiming) that allows us to win t rounds most of the time. This game mode should cater to players that are good at TTT, not at CSGO. I think its time for TTT to have a somewhat big change and the proposition/suggestion I've came up with is that inno's should spawn with kevlar (not head armor though). Detectives and Traitors would both automatically spawn with Kevlar and head armor allowing them to purchase items that actually cater to playing the game mode (tasers, silencers, health stations, golden knifes, and maybe even teleporters for T's). This change would still reward players that are good at aiming and would balance the current overall play of being an inno. I think the amount of creativity that T's could come up with ,if inno's got kevlar would really change how the game is being played atm which in my opinion is very stale. Currently, there are too many items in the T-Store that are just pretty much useless (matchbox, teleporters, mines) because there are other items that are just far superior. With this one change I think it could tackle all these talks about how certain items are useless. Mowing down innos would be harder forcing players to play sneaky and smart meaning purchasing items like teleporters, mines, and golden knifes would be much more viable. The fact that an smg is better than an ak/m4 in many close quarter situation makes me question the balancing of the game. Similar to what I read in @LargeAll suggestion thread it legit takes 1-2 seconds to mow an inno down with any smg. This is just way too fast and the fact that a T can get away with killing 4 innos in a room by himself is just plain stupid. I also understand everyone has different "styles" of playing TTT ,but if the style of just mowing down everyone and getting away with it is your best option in winning, then somethings wrong. I think all styles of playing TTT should be EQUALLY viable and currently I can say from experience that its not 100% equal atm. As of right now, I think its important to nerf the csgo mechanics of the game and start buffing players who are good at playing the game mode "ttt". I think it wouldn't hurt to do a test run on giving innos kevlar and T's/Detective kevlar+head armor and seeing how it would affect the overall gameplay of TTT. Some kind of change is needed in my opinion to start balancing the game mode a bit because in all honesty its not balanced atm.   13. Thanks for the shout out my man and im glad I can be a idol to someone . If you need any advice or help im always willing to lend a hand if im not busy. On topic, I've never had an idol but I've definitely have had role models that I look up to. The first person that I can think of on the top of my head would probably be my social studies teacher when I was a freshman in high school. He was a super relatable teacher and most of all he was super engaged in whatever he was doing.

Its important to have good time management skills and that's still something I definitely can work on .
