  2. I'm going to allow this map to sit in the pool for some time. Those who want it to stay bring up some really good points and insight. As long as it's not a super bad population killer and gets rtv'd all the time, there are minimal reasons for this map to get removed. I'd ask for the players to give this map some more time and to truly get to know the map instead of resenting it because CTs are good on it or because you don't know the secrets to the map. @Phoenix_ Good find Rejected
  3. My exact thought on this round...

  5. Don't tell me @Fuze is going to go around gloating about how many people he knows because of his join date again...
  6. @Phoenix_ There still seemed to be some support in the removal of the map so I'll probably just keep this up for another day or two. Unless other people would like to change their minds.
  7. I see what you're getting at. Although it's not explicitly stated anywhere the diagram is pretty much a good representation of what goes on. I think @Dominic can explain what I'm trying to get at perfectly. There might be CAs who aren't exactly super active on the servers, but can fit greatly when it comes to the more general "Community Advisor" part where they can give input on the direction of the community and provide some ideas on non-server specific topics. However, there might be CAs who might be more interested in discussing server-specific topics and those are the people who I would go to in our Staff Discord and bring up certain topics to them.
  8. Would like to see more peoples thoughts on this one. In the past it's been just as popular as the other version, very similar to how electric old and new is. They'd vote for one, extend, vote for the other one, extend. I'm not going to remove maps because you think the other version is better, even if both versions are popular within the community. Unless people can come and say truthfully, that this map kills the population and consistently gets rtv'd seconds after being switched to, a removal of any version is unlikely.
  9. Would anyone like to give their opinion on this? Personally, I think this is a great map with lots of potential. In the past, it wasn't voted for a lot but when it was it usually went un-rtv'd. I recently used this map during the Protect the President event and everyone seemed to have a blast using this specific map, since it's so big and has it's fair amount of secrets and small spots. I'd dislike to remove a map simply because it "isn't played often" since that can really be said about a lot more maps.
  10. In general I feel like this sort of change proposal is an awful idea, to make a whole new rank might be a different argument, but there is no legitimate reason for this change to happen. The CAs can be still typically used as the old "SR" without some of them, who might not be so server-centered, can also be helpful in other areas that still portray the community.
  11. *IMPORTANT*

Thank you for tagging this as NSFW and censoring your own swear words. We need more people like you.
  12. Congrats to everyone. Well deserved.
  13. I dislike you. :smile1:

  14. I only voted for Bread cuz that's all I want
  15. Then the CTs should decide on what they want to do. I added onto that post and said that the Ts should also be aware of what's about to happen. Looking back, I actually agree with what @Dominic first said in that... How would you suggest we combat this issue of "unfairness" because it setting max speed off the bat doesn't go against any of our rules. Surviving on max speed isn't "impossible" to do. To clarify: My argument is that CTs shouldn't switch the speed of Jump Rope because it's directly interfering with the deathgame.
  16. I said this to @Dominic when we were having our affairs and I basically said that it's on the CT to decide how fast the deathgame goes. Obviously, they want to kill off the most amount of Ts so they should be cognizant and decide beforehand what speed they want. Also, the Ts should be aware that a deathgame is about to start and be ready for anything to happen if they want to survive.
  17. To expand my thoughts further. My argument was that a CT changing the speed of Jump Rope throughout was primarily going against this rule here: In my eyes, a CT that messes with the games speed is interfering with how the CT had first allowed the game to function. I believe some maps have Jump Rope progressively speed up over time, that's how the game is intended to play and since it's impossible for a CT to interfere we don't have to worry about that. However, on maps where Jump Rope speed can be changed, I feel like the CTs should choose how fast it starts and leave it as is. The game is functioning as intended, that is going around in a circle at a constant speed. Once a CT changes the speed though, then it would be considered interfering with the death-game since you are directly affecting the speed of the rope.
  18. ???? If they're on top of the cell before the cell doors were ever opened they're KOS for rebelling. If they get on top after the cell doors are opened, excluding if any other orders are given, they aren't KOS.
  19. ^ This. I don't see why it would be completely KOS because of the few things it provides that other maps provide as well. Think summer jail, scout on the roof and immediate access to the armory building.
