  3. This was actually brought up a while ago in a JB staff meeting, I believe. I think @Wawa was looking into it, not sure if @Dominic knows about it though since he wasn’t present back then. Pretty sure the conclusion was that some people wouldn’t know if they’re being heard or not as well as something else that I’ve forgotten. I guess it would be cool to just test it for the weekend and see how it goes, it wouldn’t hurt.
  4. We plan to talk about the Voice Comm Issues during our Community Meeting this Saturday. We’ve already implemented a way for you guys, as a T, to mute other Ts. Be sure to show up to the meeting, we’d love to talk about it more during then. As for muting Ts until there are only 15 left, I don’t think that’s really a good solution to the issue at hand, especially when you take things like, what if there’s just 16 Ts on, what if the server is just really quiet and no mute is needed(sometimes it happens), or what if a T wants to ask a verbal question or needs to explain a situation?

Current description of "Blatant Disobey" So a T going into disco/kitchen in this instance would be considered Blatantly Disobeying, because you have to shift your view away from the rest of the Ts, that would be past first cell, to be focued on a T that's pretty much behind you guys. Although, how you act on a prisoner that is blatantly disobeying is really up to your discretion. Personally, If a traitor is at fountain or near there I'll just warning shoot them and tell them to get back but I see no problem in you gunning them down if they already ran past first cell. Don't be mistaken though, this not a definitive answer, as I said before, it really is up to the discretion of the CT(s). Dominic's example is a great way to judge the situation at hand.
  7. I definitely want to host a scrim tourney. This is, right now would be a bad time as everyone is currently in school and for those that have school but also work, would make it 10x hard for scheduling purposes. Definitely expect one in the summer.
  8. This exactly. If you have your gun out while in an LR you aren't KOS. Same goes for the 3 seconds at the end of the round, technically you are still in your LR, as you can still shoot if you have a bullet. An LR is over once someone cheats or a CT or T is killed.
  9. I'd like to hear more about this from @Fake franzJ. How is this implemented on other servers? Does the CT have to enter a command to have this start or does this start whenever there is only one CT left? What if the round starts with just one CT, will this be enabled? Is this more of an event suggestion, as opposed to something to be permanently added? Is there a publicly available plugin of this? Overall I really don't like the idea, especially when the whole "every T is kos" because some people just want to play w/o rebelling. Also, due to how weird the idea of having a CT run around going Mach 10 seems like. It's just generally against our whole look on JB and makes it more mini-game like instead of our traditional "vanilla" server. To be honest though, I kind of like this as an event idea. Just to have for an hour or two, but that also depends if there's a plugin we can use.

  11. I genuienly see no legit reason for a T to sell out another T of theirs. The only reason's I have seen were, "I wanted to do an LR." or "I just want to be friendly." Both of which, completely go against the whole point of being a Traitor and the overall theme of "Prison Break" or "Jail Break." It's directly in the name, theoretically you want to break out of prison, obviously the only way to do that, in this iteration of JB, is to kill the CTs. The entire idea behind "bloodhounding" is always selfish and almost always, depending on the person, causes some sort of disruptive behavior to begin on the server. Also because bloodhounding is, in short, indirectly killing a teammate.

  17. I thought this over again and I'm retarded... To be honest I agree with what roux said in that 1v1 server's are already very established and without some sort of backbone in the 1v1 community already, it will probably be less used than our FFA server. There just isn't a reason to enter a market already dominated by other servers. We really aren't a deathmatch community, and the same thing happens over time, everytime we release a dm/pvp server. We just don't have the place in the market, and It's not something that can be easily attained.
  18. I think having so the deathgame has to be built within the map would encourage the playerbase to reach outside the normal map rotation. Throughout my time on SG I've seen countless amount of times people complain about the map rotation and how no other maps, besides razor, vip, and lego get played. I think this rule would encourage the players to play more arcade-like maps. The time set can always be tweaked and if we find change might be needed I'm sure we could come up with a solution and throughout testing find the most optimal time for when deathgames can't be forced. +1. If we wan't games to be as fair to the Ts as possible, this should be implemented with the other proposed rules. We should try our best to make the server enjoyable and give the CTs less control over the Ts lives. What I said on the previous post. I still stand by mostly all of this.:
