  1. I don't see a positive effect of letting players see who uses the command. I just see players becoming vigilantes and freekilled the player who abuses the command. Players that abuse the stuck command should be dealth with by admins not players. If a player is FREQUENTLY adbusing the stuck command you should use !calladmin or you can just msg me or another admin, I'll be more than happy to deal with the situation. The best thing to prevent the spam is to have a cool down on how frequently a player is allowed to consecutively use a command. An increase in the amount of time that the stuck command can be used would help mitigate this issue.

  10. Just got an idea. What about sort of incorporating the use of different freeday orders. Of course this can also be considered as an event idea. Something that has got lost in this new generation of players are things like "Zombie Freeday" or "Panda Freeday" or other kind of special orders. Of course I think the Cats would have to also be hindered in a way (maybe armory would be locked once they all left or they are only allowed to pick up one gun). Also maybe this can be used with the First Order command. Only being able to be used with a certain amount of people on, also including the cool down. I wrote this before class so if you want me to expand on this and maybe talk about it more I'll be willing to do it later. @All Ts

  16. I would like to reinforce this idea. If you reward the CTs for killing Ts there will be players who will abuse this to the fullest, by mass freekilling. I think for the CTs to be rewarded, the best bet is to probably reward them all for rounds won, but even then they can still freekill the entire server and gain in points. I can't come up with anything at the moment but the best option regarding CTs, is to not reward them at all, which would also probably decrease the amount of players that would then want to play CT. As much as I understand why a lot of people believe this, I really think that we should reset the ranks. Let's think about it for a second. The same thing happens on TTT every month, the karma reset & the karma competition. The Karma GRIND is why a LOT of players continuously go back on to TTT. It keeps players hooked onto the game, wondering while they're away from their computer if anyone is surpassing them in karma and aching to get back on to have the highest karma. Once you reset it, the same thing happens again. It keeps the players interested and gives new players a reason to stay. If a new player were to see the top 10 players on JB and how only 1 kill as a T gives you one point, that takes away motivation to play to become the best, as it can be seen as something not achievable. The best part of TTT, for me, is playing the game and seeing you pass players one by one and having that one other player that you fight with to retain the #1 spot. There isn't really a battle on JB like there is on TTT. IMO: You either never reset ranks thus, in the distant future making the !rank irrelevant due to the very large point gap OR change it now and give players more of an incentive to play by a sort of TTT Karma Competition point system.
  17. I believe that a big reason why players stopped playing JB is due to the lack of variety in the gamemode. People love things like wardays, and althought they are obviously against the rules, cts will say at the beginning of the round "freeday no soccer" and leave armory and all stay in soccer. These types of rounds keep the players excited and wanting to play another. Although I think it's important we keep to our vanilla roots and do like the idea of a cooldown, don't know how long would be appropriate but it needs to be a time not too far where players would get off and only join back just before it again but also where it doesnt feels overwhelming.
  18. Everyone has pretty much summed it up. There's already the chance to give them a warning shot (if an order such as be on big cage boxes and they stop to knife the vent), it gives too much leverage to the cts and imo could lead to some very annoying cts forming, the T might not necessarily have intent to rebel (on summer jail the top left cell, i usually break it just because it's in my cell and to occupy a ct, making them think I used it), also that vents are already incredibly in the favor of the cts (the ones in big cage are always long and there is usually only one way to exit and it's extremely small). I see why the idea of changing the rule is there but from my standpoint the cons weigh out the pros of a rule change. I would like to see a counter argument & reason as to why breaking vents should be kos, if anyone believes it should be kos feel free to voice your opinion.
