  1. A vote for @20 scrollsis a vote against humanity
  2. This map has been removed, issue is no longer apparent.
  3. This has been added as an Elite Supporter perk!
  4. The map is actually pretty small and unpopular because no one wants to give it a chance. It's got a decent amount of secrets and vents, but lacks the rebelling style of popular maps like revamp or razor. I wouldn't be opposed to removing this from our map pool in anticipation of other newer maps being accepted.
  5. @kuriBoutta be out first round @Steven.boutta take my W from me...
  6. Rocket Roux I hope your family is doing well and is staying as safe as possible during this time, I hope the turnout for this event is even bigger than last time.
  7. I thought this was a bug, so I reported it here. There's Primary and Secondary ranks, "Member" and "Regular" giving basic permissions and Elite/Primary Supporter giving extra permissions. This is probably something they can edit in the future, like what fantastic said in the bug report.
  8. Broooooooooooooooooooooooo THIS WAS MY YEAR
  9. Either this, or put the birthdays into the calendar.
  10. Congrats @Kieran! @ChadI hope to see big things for you, i'm excited! @euroWelcome back to your team! Before you got banned I think I remember you being Lead Designer, right?
  11. Just wanted to give this a quick bump, gather some thoughts on it and see if the managers were interested in this again or not. Rejected here, but is a poor reason as it doesn't apply for !fo (Person can speak multiple times screwing the /csay) and chat can be flooded by conversation, radio, and ads.
  12. CTs are not required to explain the game they are sending the Ts to, or at least they don't. I guess intentionally explaining a deathgame the wrong way might fall under the whole "Do not give confusing orders", but I think ill need some Manager clarification on that. However, Gween brings up a good point, also most deathgames are self explanatory.
  13. So what I was told in this thread previously, is that CTs do not have to announce the start of a deathgame and Ts should always be ready for a deathgame to be started if they're at it (regardless what the CTs say).
  14. Again, @splayd's idea would be fine for this, but you want to accomodate an irresponsible consumer who: Doesn't check their bills, their paypal, any suspicious activity on their card/bank, and remember what they buy. If it's not hard to implement, then there's not a big reason to not add it," Hey, you've been a Steam-Gamers Elite Donor for 28 Months, are you still actively interested in this purchase?". If "some people" don't check their emails, how would this even help then (or how would we get a message to them).
  15. This is also not a bad idea, but it already happens doesn't it? You get an email the day before/near the time your subscription is about to "expire" reminding you that it will expire. Ya'll don't get this?
  16. As a fucntion adult in modern society, with credit cards, subscriptions, and some companies taking money from your account (wrongfully) it is your responsibility to either stay up to date with your bills or not give our your information. If you want to not have it as a subscription, you can do what @Mikey.said and send 100 dollars for 10 months of VIP etc.
  17. https://gyazo.com/b8ddd691811f8fa7f87089b31a449584 Move the "players" and "Current map" above the map, and capitalize the "p" in players. Additionally, Skill Surf and RPG FFA have ? for their current maps. https://gyazo.com/183efbe63b62929cb83f0d78e3ebbb2b Make the "Who Was Online" closeable, it's very large and a bit unnecessary Make Senior Server Admin to just Server Admin Add the events and technical team under "Team Leaders" here https://steam-gamers.net/staff/ and possibly fix BoM and Infinityward's roles under their section
  18. BIG POGCHAMP, thank you to everybody who worked hard on this and helped releasing it. test2
  19. I agree. This makes me think of the controversy between Apple and Spotify about their music platforms. Apple was practically bleeding them dry with the 30% cut, especially on their $.99 subscription. Also, recently Apple, Amazon, and Facebook were questioned by Congress for their anti-competitiveness practices, and this is what Tim Cook said:
  20. I think Epic really brought this onto themselves by trying to cut Apple/Google out of the loop through the direct payment. They should just do what we all did in middle school, say you're sorry and ask for forgiveness (ask them to revert it).
  21. As the official player complainter, I can tell you the new forums were scrapped so Caution can buy a new golden Mac book
  22. When that version of the map was live, the guards would give orders or a freeday on second island and camp 1st island. People had a big problem with it, so ultimately it was removed. People wanted the map back after that, so they contracted someone, Darnias, to re-make the map but with the two islands visible to each other. When Darnias did re-make it, apparently, he made it poorly and it caused bugs. One of those bugs were an invisibility glitch with the Metal Detector, causing the map to be removed again. Then, the map was finally added back when Infinityward_ re-made/fixed it.
  23. I was the one to make the map removal request, even though I'm probably the biggest fan of this map. The map still had two bugs the modding team was attempting to fix, and the map didn't perform very well. Upon switching to the map we'd lose half the population, and always have someone wanting to rtv off of it. Additionally, I'd been getting reports of some players not even being able to connect when we switched over to clouds. Click here to view the removal request.
  24. Right, but the whole point is if I die every round because a player with a mic gives a precise special order in chat, I won't be having fun or want to "learn" much; I'd get frustrated and probably leave the server. Why do I say this? It's because I've seen players get frustrated, killed, and eventually quit because they died for the dumbest reasons. "He was crouched" "He wasn't facing it directly" "He got gunplanted by his teammate" - All fully legal things to kill someone for, but end up making newer players frustrated. Many global, neurological, and educational studies link having fun or positive reinforcement to a more enjoyable experience and learning more. https://www.psychologytoday.com/files/attachments/4141/the-neuroscience-joyful-education-judy-willis-md.pdf https://www.apa.org/monitor/jun06/learning https://journals.physiology.org/doi/full/10.1152/advan.00075.2009 ^Yes this is super fucking gay and mostly related to education/college-highschool classes, but you get the point
