I think the map might need some work to: Tear down a few walls (to make things more open) Change the buttons/colors to English (So it's playable/not confusing) Maybe add an in-cell vent connecting pool-cells (accessibility to the beach scout and armory) Adding weapons to areas (Pistol at the beach/in the box room/play-ground) Closing off armory window to not allow camping Since you can jump around the back of high dive, maybe add a teleport secret that takes you to the roof of armory? These are all really rough suggestions of things that may make the map better, however, I'm no map maker or modding team so take them with a hint of salt. Additionally, these suggestions will probably make the map a lot more chaotic.
  2. From first glance, this map looks very small, however upon further inspection you can see it has a lot to offer. It has a lot of unique death/minigames you don't typically see on Jailbreak maps, however, where it over-delivers in games it lacks in secrets. While searching through this map there were plenty of good spots to either hide weapons to or place secrets, but none were ever to be found. The only spots I found weapons were an obvious, and out in the open, scout at the tower in the beach, a weapons cache for the winners of a difficult surf, and a single grenade for the winners of RaceClimb. Pros: Cool mini/death-games S4S/LR Room Cons: All the buttons (Including Colors directions) are in a non-English language Lack of secrets No In-cell secrets Armory is extremely easily accessible/the armory is open, allowing CTs to sit in there the entire round while enforcing The Volleyball game is littered with respawning grenades on the floor that can be thrown out of the game Conclusion: I do not advocate for this map being added to the servers because it is small, lacks secrets/guns, and would not fit our server well.

  7. This is why I suggested monthly/bi-monthly challenges. So the model and challenges would either get harder or change every once in a while.
  8. If the T is delaying an admin could still warn them, there's nothing wrong with playing smart and cautious. Most challenges imo would be kill wise, so yeah if people really wanted to ghost/cheat the challenge they could. However, people can ghost regularly in TTT, so unless the challenges give a really big prize who cares if they ghost. I would also like to add challenges could be credit rewards, like you said, or maybe a custom model. For example, there are new challenges every month/bi monthly and if you complete all the challenges you get the skin/you unlock it. VIPs/Subs could already unlock the skin, and that could be an incentive for buying Sub/VIP. @Trazz @Greggy G @crazedkangaroo thoughts?
  9. What type of negatives do you think could come from this though? All I can think of is a change to the meta, and I don't see anything wrong with that. And yeah, I imagine this doesn't come out until their current project (Or whatever they're working on) is done/released.
  10. I was wondering if it would be at all difficult to implement an achievement system. For example, one of the achievements could be role-specific and a team effort: - Win a Traitor-round without any of your teammates dying! - Kill at least four people with the Jihad - Successfully defuse a C4 - Survive a round as an Innocent - etc. You would type !profile or !challenges to see those you have completed or haven't. Some of the challenges would be for new players, and some a lot harder for the Regulars. Every time you completed a challenge/achievment it would say in chat: "Congratulations! You completed a new Challenge. Type !(command)" This would probably be a new plugin someone would have to create, but I think it would be really fun and possibly make people use new strategies and play differently.

  12. Just now, on Jailbreak, there was a discussion on what exactly was first cell? A few admins and players said the first cell was the one closest to the armory, while others said it was the one furthest away, or the cell closest to the exit of "Maincell". I disagreed, and said the only maps with an identifiable first cell were Revamp, Razor, and VIP because they had been agreed upon for many years. If we wanted to clarify the first cell for all maps, couldn't we just say it was the one closest to the armory, or instead no map has a first cell except for Razor, Revamp, and VIP? The "First Cell" being the one farthest away from the armory, or closest to the exit of main cell, makes no sense in my opinion because maps like Summerjail, Mario world, and Moonjail have distinct and different cell layouts. Some of these maps have multiple exits to maincell, or the cells and armory are equidistant to each other. The "First Cell" being the one closest armory, and lowest, makes a lot of sense for most maps. This way, there's no confusion. Additionally, if a map does not have a "closest cell", there is no first cell.
  13. Tinychat required people to create an account/PAY for tinychat video calls. After that happened no one wanted to pay, so no one did it anymore.

Map Removal Full map name jb_clouds_sgedit Type of map Jailbreak Why should we remove it - Absoloutely kills server pop. - Still has this map fix request open, and it's the only part of the map people enjoy. - Door of RLGL/Obstacle Course kills As much as I advocated for this map to stay on the server, it seems none of the playerbase like it. We'll have over 20-25 people online, the map gets nominated and selected (so atleast half the server wanted it) and then on map switch only 12 people connect. I've seen it happen more than once, and before tonight. I don't know if it's the "phase" we're going through or people can't rebel on any map that's not revamp, but the map kills the server population even at peak hours. I personally just wanted to repeat that I want this map to stay on the server, but there should be some consideration if it's worth keeping it on or. not.

  20. Case is right, you're only in an active LR if the LR was started; You got your LR weapons and the countdown started. You sending the LR disallows the CT to warning shot you, but un-freezing is your fault since the LR wasn't active.
  21. This is exactly what I told Vanya how I thought this thread was created. Someone was inconvenienced slightly in a few rounds of a map, or maybe a night, and a rule change is demanded. This is not a problem on our servers, it happens so little that people, me, literally forget about it. Most rebellers are already trying to kill the CTs, with pistols or their primaries. Additionally, LR time is also a prime time for Ts to intervene and kill the unsuspecting CT, so most would already be going for the kill. It is an interesting idea so I actually wouldn't mind it.
  22. The difference between TTT and JB is that innocents are incentivized to survive, while prisoners are meant to take over the prison or rebel. Sitting in a cell is doing neither of those things. Also, you can’t really blame the CTs because not only is checking all the cells a waste of time and difficult, but certain cells are just difficult to access or check without dying (VIP cells on revamp/razor).
  23. I think adding more rules that require certain specific criteria to be met is more confusing and unnecessary. The problem this thread is pointing out is not that common or that severe. This used to happen a lot back in 2018, but no one minded that much. Now that it's "back", and I've barely noticed this, it's not that big of a deal. I don't see it "killing the server" or making players super mad, and if it does it only wasted a few minutes of their time. Months ago there was a similar discussion on TTT about Innocents delaying, and even though their game mode wants innocents to stay alive, we had a lot of good input from old TTT players who said a little patience wouldn't kill anyone. I agree. As an admin, I would message the T letting them know what they're doing, but I wouldn't punish them. I see no reason to add a rule for something insignificant.
  24. A lot of the concerns in this thread were discussed for a long time during a JB staff meeting that happened today. I won't. be commenting on anything specific as it's not my place, but the managers have said before (And they're kept on their promise) that something will be coming soon. It's all I have to say because it's what I've said for the past 3 large JB discussion threads, it's coming and we just have to wait out the "storm". Also, the CT-point voting feature is cool, but it will absolutely be abused. I just wanted to comment on this and say this was changed to properly reflect the wins and losses for the server. The CT's job is to control the prison, give orders, and stomp out rebellion. So if the round wins in a draw, theoretically it means they did their job properly.
