  1. This is the internet, it shouldn't be a G rated place. If any parent lets their child use the internet freely, it's their problem if the kid goes on certain websites with legal things that might be inappropriate for them. It would make sense of wanting illegal things off of our websites; like talking about pirating movies, the use of certain illicit drugs, advertising other things to minors.

I get a kind of ml_caste or moon jail vibe, and overall I think the map would be a good fit for the server. It provides ample secrets, and lots of fun things for prisoners to do. Even though I listed lots of secrets, there's a few more I wasn't able to figure out. I think this map would fit into our server very well. If anyone else looks at this map please let me know if you had an issue with picking up guns in the armory, as I did.
  5. While the map seems cool from a first glance, there aren't that many gun secrets or secrets in general. It reminds me of the old Jailbreak, where lots of skill is required to play this map. I've found three "weapon" secrets; One grenade and p250 in two separate cells, and one scout at the top of the scout tower. There are many minigames to play, but some have buttons that don't function, and others are pretty difficult. The map is generally very open and very tight on the prisoners, which essentially makes it super hard to rebel. On top of that, the vents system only transports you through the map, and provides no weapons. In the current state of our server, Ts wouldn't be able to rebel well at all (Which would make the map unpopular). To add on, there's pretty large and bold advertising for the server this map was made for. I wouldn't support adding this map to our server, it just doesn't fit the style of gameplay we encourage.

  7. If you have the time you could watch a whole bunch of youtube videos and learn how to assemble it yourself. Shouldn't take more than two-three days for the actual build if you got the procedure down.

    Not everyone plays T side to rebel. While it might be an objective for the T's to follow, a lot of people just end up following the rules to either rebel later or do LR's/Minigames. Some people like doing this
  10. Don't worry about it Pat. Sometimes when the game gets a bit too intense for you to handle, or you get a little frustrated, your best bet is to just take a step back. Maybe take a break from video games for a bit, or play without sound (Works best for me).

    This seems like a good idea in concept, my only concerns come with this causing confusion and stumping rebelling efforts. There was an idea brought up previously to make it so primaries would only be picked up if you pressed the use key on them, but ultimately it wasn't used because it would hurt T's trying to rebell. This plugin is essentially the same thing. I remember discussing this thread with @Fuze on the forums, but I couldn't find the post. Essentially, the idea was rejected because it would make it a lot harder to rebell. CS:GO has this stupid thing, sometimes you can be in complete range to press "E" and pickup the gun and it won't work. A lot o these problems happen in MM and make people lose rounds, so the same logic can be applied to JB (Someone should also change the title of this thead to something along the lines of "Option to Pickup Primaries").

Just wanted to point out a few things I noticed while playing through the map: Choose your couch, Box Race, Sky Race, and Dodge the Box are the death games on the map The vent system connects main cells, to the third bottom cell, to the basketball court. -We have a vent in the top-left cell, which doesn't actually lead to anywhere. The maps got a few good secrets, but overall they're kind of hard to find out. - There's a teleport in main cell that'll give you an AWP and TP you over sky race, but I don't know how to get to it (This can also sometimes kill you). - There's also a teleport at the end of the boat race which can give you an UMP and teleport you into the showers near dodge the box (Deathcrate). - You access this by jumping over the fence using the three boxes next to each other. Overall not a bad map, but I found a better version edited on the steam workshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=930454934&searchtext=canyondam Just wanted to add your screenshots are of the newer map, but the link is of the older map. I was only able to get to the newer map through a workshop download, so I don't know if it'll work with the server or not. This version of the map greatly increases the amount of things to do, and adds a lot more secrets. The T armory door (Underneath armory) is now accessible to everyone, and contains four boxes of tactical awareness grenades and health shots. Vent additions: The vents in the top left cell now contain an exit to the roof and a pistol with a tactical awareness grenade. The vent hub (The location where the main vents meet) now contains a five seven, MP7, two health shots, two tactical awareness grenades, and a smoke. - Entrances of these vents are: - Basketball floor vent - Maincell vent in between lunch tables - Third bottom cell from the left The fifth cell from the right (8th from the left) now contains a vent leading to a room (There is a USP in the main vent). - This room there are two vents leading to the water of boat race - A "mini vent" containing a health shot, zeus, and tactical awareness grenade. - This vent connects to the theatre hallway vent. It's extensive secrets and teleports (Some I've yet to discover I believe) are awesome, and if we were to link this thread to regulars they'd enjoy the map. A lot of pushback that comes with a new map is having to go through learning new secrets and gun locations, but this map has it all. There are dozens of gun locations sputtered throughout the map, so you are bound to stumble across one. Rebelling, something our server loves, is also something that new maps need to be able to handle well. I believe this map does it pretty well. It's got two vent systems that spawn inside of cells, and each have multiple areas to exit from (Which would make CT's have to up their game when it comes to fighting rebelling). I think the only problems this map would have are; Rounds dragging on due to players not finding each other, or this map being played with ~10 people. Edit: I think this map will prove to be a great challenge for our good CT's, and a good time for our T's who love rebelling. The map, like stated multiple times, has many good opportunities for rebelling which would make people enjoy the map. If this map is going to be tested live on the server, please let me know when because I would love to play on it with the whole server (Whether it gets added finally or not). @fantastic @idealist @Military_king Fantastic I just really hope this map isn’t too large too...
  14. Honestly, I think the CT's conflicting situation has toned down, it's definitely not as bad as it used to be. Best solutions, imo, are !calladmin, player complaints, and admins muting. We have less CT's conflicting than before, and I don't think a voice cap would help the server. Similar to the TTT mic spam discussion, capping the number of people that can speak would be extremely detrimental to the casualness of the game mode. To be honest, there are also no good solutions. The warden feature has been scrapped and, like I said, the communications cap is not something I would endorse.

  18. All in all, the event was kind of "there" for me. I enjoyed the credit multiplier (as all players do). I found the new skins cool, but I've seen them on other servers so they weren't too exciting for me. The RTD plugin was fun too however, like you said, no one enjoyed the fire roll. There was also an issue of RTD enabling auto roll once you disconnect and reconnect (however it didn't always happen), and new players having auto roll on when they get on (Something they don't know how to turn off [at first]). The new rendition of razor was fun for a bit, but a bit too dark for us to play in (like most have said). Overall a pretty good event.
  19. What @Military_king said covers it mostly, but there are a few exceptions. If you're over by main cell trying to kill a rebeller in armory while your team is in pool, generally that should be fine. As long as they're helping the team out in some way, they're good.
