  1. "I thought he was @All Ts , but turns out he's a real person." - @John
  2. Jumprope is a semi-skilled game. Putting it on max speed turns it into Luck, there's a small chance someone will survive from it. Most forced deathgames aren't supposed to be luck-based, you should be able to win if you know what you're doing (Minus four-corners, hot potato, etc.).
  3. This wouldn't solve the problem, as drippy said. People would then just use the second highest speed.
  4. Get on the server with 20+ people trying to survive the deathgame, if they're lucky a few will survive. I suggest combatting this issue would be implementing something sensible that CT's already do, announcing the start of a death game. A new rule would state: CT's MUST announce the start of a death-game, and can not start death-games at the max speed. I agree with you both ( @drippy and @Manny), so making a rule that keeps it on the same speed yet tells the CT's to announce it would be fair.
  5. Right, by gradually increasing the speed. Keeping it on the same speed will either, A. Kill all the t's and have to immediately stop the death game (not too fun), or B. wait 45 seconds for the deathgame to end on slow speed. Gradually increasing the speed allows an actual challenge for the T's, and makes it a lot more fun.
  6. Whenever I play this on CT side, I gradually increase the speed while calling it out in order to further the death game. If a CT sets the speed to the lowest one, there's a high chance for no one to die for a straight 45 seconds. This new "meta" affected gameplay today, and is an issue that currently does not have a solution. It ruined gameplay for players today and is something that should be taken seriously before it becomes more common for CT's to do.
  7. I've only seen this type of death game "succeed" twice throughout a whole map of this happening. Creating more chaos for admins to deal with while simultaneously trying to figure out who's responsible would only make an admin's job harder. I apologize for missing an extra minute. Players are still leaving, and I'm barely exaggerating as I am online while this has been happening. We had almost thirty players at the start of Undertale, and now we have 18. This could be because we voted for JB_August, but it's most likely not.
  8. It's now meta for CT's to immediately send all the T's to jump rope, put it on max speed without warning, and then either ending the round or doing LR's. I don't see this as something that should be allowed to slip through our rules. People are leaving because the round is over for them a minute and a half in. Playing jailbreak with certain regulars on CT side make the game more dull and repetitive. If this is the type of jailbreak server we want, we should keep this exception. The rules clearly state: Turning the speed of the death game to max does not give T's a chance to win, and interferes with the CT's ability to cease the death game. This should not be allowed, PERIOD. @Dominic
  9. I'm just still a bit confused on how this would be enforceable. Also, the difference between summer jail and clouds is you can't access the roof while in cells. On Clouds you're able to get out of your cell, which on a lot of maps is KOS-able.
  10. For a lot of deathgames it's required for the CT's to "interfere" to start it/stop it. Starting Jump rope at max speed is freekilling, because it doesn't give the T's a chance to win. On top of that, you have to tell them before you start the deathgame. As a CT you should start it at the lowest speed, and gradually work your way up. If you start it without telling them, then they'll never beable to "jump at the right time".
  11. Due to the revival of the clouds map, some of the map-specific KOS areas are in discussion. The main area are the cell roofs. When the map was still in circulation, there was a post with the conclusion that cell roofs (or the chaos of boxes above them) were kos. The question still stands, are the roofs KOS? This would be similar to this discussion about in-cell vents/secrets. However, on this map, the roofs provide an advantage such as: Teleportation to a primary on second island, damage grenades, a pistol, an invisible box to hide in, and closer access to the armory early-round. I would appreciate input from the JB staff team as I can't find that old post. Edit: Just to add, both ways to get on top of the cells are not KOS, as they're just some "parkour".

  13. Well the secret's more of a high risk-high reward kind of thing. Take the time to get the jumps right, get an OP speed boost. However, I think a limit to T's only wouldn't be bad. This way T's would have an even higher risk, but still get an OP speed boost. This would just be as easy as changing the carrying item to a bomb.
  14. In my playtime, I've rarely seen a whole CT team flock to secrets and not give orders. I wouldn't worry too much. However, on Moonjail there are a half a dozen or so CT's that run to certain secrets.
  15. Ct's should be giving orders within those first thirty seconds. Not saying anything and letting the T's do what they want round after round is not allowed. Next time just ask them to do something, and if they don't record and file a player complaint. However, your best bet will come from using the !calladmin command.
  16. Congratulations!

  18. Well deserved and a congratulations!

  20. Mr. Maga at what time shall we be expecting the Comedy Night Event next Sunday?
  21. Cheetos are great and all, but are they really a chip? Sour cream and onion or original (Lays)
  22. When the cts ask you to lr by a certain time, as long as you send the request you’re in the clear. It’s to my knowledge that if a ct asks you to lr and they decline it, you can not be punished (a warning shot). If this ct is the last one they must accept the lr, or not have you do Lrs. However, spam sending lrs to a ct you know will not accept an lr won’t be helpful for your cause. If there are other cts alive try lring them.
  23. If it was a good unique map, with ample secrets and deathgames the server would eat it up. Make sure to spam link the video of the secrets so it gets played though. But then who would be the principal if the teachers were the Ct's? Warden?
  24. To clear up confusion, I'm talking about T's gun planting each other while in a stack. This means one person in the stack has the primary, and once he dies the primary is passed onto the next T and so on and so forth. @fantastic says not to spray into a stack to kill one T with a primary (as a CT). What I'm saying is that as a CT, you should not be 1 tapping people getting gun planted continuously over and over. Your order is forcing them to be in a situation to become KOS, which is against the rules. While there's a chance this could be allowed, it's Ct's playing with the rules to get kills.
