I should've touched more on this with my initial post; I think each person should be treated individually with their own punishments if any at all. Obviously someone with a situation like Vinyl's or Black Rain's shouldn't receive a punishment. I guess I should have given more examples similar to Kofi because I really do believe action should be taken in those specific cases.

I've wanted to make this post for a while now, but I feel only very recently have enough people agreed with me on this for it to be a considered suggestion. I think it would be helpful to give a minimum of 6-12 month long (ideally permanent) bans for people who have been VAC banned, but not directly banned on SG or because of evidence on SG. I know some people think this is outlandish, but there are many regulars walking among us who have been VAC banned on previous accounts, with some even being repeat offenders. It really doesn't make sense to me why VAC'd players can still play on SG when they played SG on that account. Some people might counter-argue with this by saying, "if there's no evidence of them cheating here, why ban them here?", but I don't think that covers closet cheaters, as I've definitely seen my fair share of them on SG in the past year and a half. I also think it's incredibly unlikely someone who's willing to cheat on official Valve servers would not cheat on community servers; if anything the regulars would be more inclined to cheat with and against people they're familiar with if they're a regular here. Now I'm not saying people can't change, many people have given up their cheating ways and become great members of the community; most obvious example is Haxor. However, for regulars who have been VAC banned and refuse to talk about it or admit they were cheating, I don't see why they should still be here. That's my hot take. Hope you guys really take this one into consideration. EDIT: Originally I wasn't going to call anyone out in particular, but I feel a perfect example of this is Kofi. Besides his obviously poor attitude, he's been VAC banned on his old account, and still refuses to admit he is or was ever cheating. This is an example of one of the shittiest loopholes in JB history. I don't agree with phoenix when he says this is a trend, this is something that has been getting worse and worse since summer of last year and probably even before that. I think this is representative of a bigger issue being inconsistency with the warning shot rule and I think it deserves some touching up. A while back I had a run in with Vanya when the fucker was giving shotgun warning shots, and it absolutely PERPLEXED me that most people FAVORED the current rule that allows SMG headshot warning shots, HE warning shots, molotov warning shots, and shotgun warning shots. All of these deserve to be ripped from the rulebook, what an obvious loophole this is to the 1-99 dmg flat rule. It should still be 1-99 damage, but grenades are too volatile and headshot warning shots only cause problems because at closer ranges they do 100+ dmg, and shotgun warning shots, christ, a shotgun shoots multiple shots does it not? In console it registers as multiple hits, so how the fuck is that considered a warning shot when 7 pellets are shot into my pinky toe for uncrouching to type "lmao" in chat after the cells open? I think Gentoo makes an interesting point with the balance between T's and CT's, but putting in bullshit like this as a superficial way to make CT side more fun or whatever isn't a good reason to have inconsistency in the rule book.

I would disagree. In my personal experience, what made me think about my toxic attitude wasn't people telling me to shut the fuck up or calling me a squeaker. That kind of stuff brushes off kids who were introduced to the internet at an early age. What actually elicits change and makes them contemplate their attitude is genuine sincere criticism from people they like or care about. That's not always possible to use on kids who are brand new to the server and have no bridges to burn, but for people who have integrated themselves a bit more, it's best for their closest friends on SG or people with high notoriety to give them sincere and genuine criticism. Unfortunately, you can tell people like Kofi were told too many times to "shut the fuck up annoying squeaker" rather than "hey man you've gotten to be a real asshole and no one wants to be around you" from a close acquaintance. I think a blend of the two methods is required for creating someone who can be a good internet citizen and player on the server, as too many kids born past the release of the Xbox 360 are spoiled annoying dickwads that need a virtual spanking every once in a while to snap back to reality. Just my two cents from someone who's been on the other side.

Chat orders are a zit on the face of this gamemode. We should be working towards phasing them out, not integrating them.

Even though I advocated for its removal, I think the original version of clouds with the teleport should be put it for a trial period again. It was a great map, it was just a shame that CT's would generally abuse the teleport and camp main island and send the T's to game island. The admin team is much larger and much more active now so I feel they could cement some order in place so things like that don't happen.

honestly i think this is a blessing in disguise cuz it should discourage clowns like you for giving warning shot head shots in the first place cuz of fear of missing and hitting someone else.

Normally I don't directly point out names, but this new kid, y'all might've heard him, his name is Pablo. He gives orders like "take NO step out, crouch and freeze" and generally confusing bullshit. Admins need to step up and put these kids in their place.

Crossfire will permanently be in a broken state. Unfortunately, we don't have robot CT's who can pinpoint the rebeller's exact head location and pick them out in a stack. While I do think this rule is abused by many, I don't think adding harsher punishment will stop the ones who do abuse it. More likely it will punish honest CT's who make honest mistakes and then have to slay, when the T is usually the one at fault for the crossfire, as they stack onto the rebeller in hopes of deterring CT's to shoot and giving the rebeller more time to live. If there any lobotomyte CT's reading this who don't know how to enforce, if you give a stack order for whatever reason and start getting shot at, swallow your fucking pride and find cover instead of trying to use your gold nova 2 aim to kill the rebeller. Fall back, say "all T's crouch, freeze, and unstack", wait 5 seconds ish and badabing badaboom you pop the heads of the dumbasses who don't listen to your orders and order is reinstated within the prison. Crossfire rules should remain the same.
