Got anything you can upgrade? What are your current system specs? Your budget is low for a gaming computer. It could buy you a modest computer by today's standards, but if your current machine is wildly outdated even this could be a huge upgrade.

when you are at such a low price point there is no recommendable speaker set. just go to a computer store and find speakers that are under $20.

i dunno if they sell these near you but i use an iNOVA mouse pad, 8000 DPI gaming pad. works great with my mamba and my RAT7, better than the razer mouse pad i was using before (its not a cloth mouse pad).

there is no conventional means of fixing burn in. your idea with running negative colors probably wont work, but it sounds interesting and I dont think it will damage your screen more so go for it.

everything is up and running well! when i first unpacked everything i realized it was going to take a little longer than the 2 hours i was hoping for (remove old gear, install new gear, install OS). hello rat's nest! im gonna do something about those cables.. but just not right now.

sound advice potshot. unfortunately all the hardware is sitting in front of me. I kinda wish i had known that the 790 chipset cant support 6 core without a bios flash. a bios flash which is impossible to do without a supported cpu running. ditched the x6 for a x4. from what ive read, it's for the better. wasted money, live and learn. (no i dont have both processors)
