You didn't give much details to us about this so I'm just going to improvise. -Restart your modem and router if you have one. -Try checking your network logs for abnormal packet loss. -Try checking if your connection wire is giving out. I recently replaced mine due to it lagging behind. -If you do use a router. Make sure it is encrypted aka password protected. People could easily leach your connection if it is left unprotected. -When you restart your modem or router run a speed test at www.speedtest.net. Run another test in an hour or so and check if your connection speed significantly lowered. When that happened to me, I got a couple wires replaced and everything ran fine. -Also, try checking your anti-virus and firewall. And see if they're conflicting with hl2.exe or steam.exe. Fixing that would probably solve your problem.

  18. If you want to give us your PC information try running Belarc Advisor or CPU-Z. If you don't want to download anything type dxdiag in the command prompt. As for the card I have to agree with Daze on the GTX 260. If not you can try rolling HD 4850X2'S. On to the part of ATI vs Nvidia. Saying that ATI compared to Nvidia is false in my opinion. Cards like the 4870x2 has shown us what ATI can do with their heads out of their asses. At the moment they're like AMD is to Intel. The cheap side to computer technology.

  22. If you have Vista follow this: 1) Open up Start Menu 2) Search and open "Folder Options" 3) At Folder Options, go to the "View Tab". It should have a section on "Hidden Files and Folders". Select the option to show them. 4) Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Shockwave Player 11 5) Delete "Prefs" and "Shockwave Logs" If you have XP follow this: For XP, Click start > run > and type in regedit (for Vista, click the orb to bring up Search) Hit CTRL+F and type in Habbo One result should show up, it should be named "Default" and its value should be images.habbohotel.com/random shit Delete that shit (and for all you who don't get it, AFTER YOU DELETE IT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THE REGEDIT PIC)
