  2. Surprised Astrum hasn't found this thread and converted us all to Trap fans yet. That map is decent , I've learned to avoid the initial traps in the first maze now. It's the ones in the 2nd maze that keep killing me. IamLegend seems to be getting a bad rap but I think it's a great map. At first I was angry because it was so big and dark but once I realized how to play the map I was fine with it. I also want to add xpg to the list...severely underplayed map , played that a few times and it's weird. I usually like city themed maps like that , but that map is an exception. Of course the map is barely played anymore so I don't have a chance to revisit and get accustomed to it

    I see. Regardless the maps that aren't played a lot reduce people's fps or really stink. The exception is icecave and sorrento , which aren't played a lot but are good maps. Most of the underplayed maps really aren't fun or are too big.

     

    Besides , other than dust servers also run the same css maps over and over , and no one complains. I haven't played regular css in years but dust , dust2 , pira , office , etc , all been played for years. No one complains that they're overplayed yet they whine about good maps. :laugh:

    Anyways , on to less serious issues. Funny how there can be CSS servers which run Dust 24/7 and still remain popular but if a server runs 5 different maps over and over it's considered overplayed and people complain. It's not like the maps that are being underplayed are any good anyways (ie cp escape , canal escape , and all that crap). If they were any good don't you think they would be played more? LOL

    Anyways , about Snow , he was a significant news figure as the spokesperson of the White House , in addition to a commentator for Fox News. You may not have agreed with him , the administration , or Fox news , but it's rude not to show respect when someone passes away. Maybe it's just me but I never ever spit on anyone's grave after they have died. I guess the same situation happened with Jesse Helms. Many people were gleeful , called him names , but I just said RIP. It's just rude not to , regardless of your beliefs.

  15. Generally obscure underplayed maps i.e. canal escape. I'm a big advocate of the server running the "Big 5" maps repeatedly , those 5 being Black Mesa , SST , JP , LW , and SSX. There are others I wouldn't mind playing such as icecave , sorrento , IamLegend , and so on. But my main issue is with underplayed maps. There's a reason they are hidden and rarely played. Most of the time these maps lower my fps. I remember one of them , it's like CP escape or something , I can't even move. I always get stuck in the water in the beginning while the rest of you somehow have managed to advance past me. The worst by far is Mumbo Jumbo. Malvinas used to be on the list but I've found it rather entertaining to go hide in the apartment with everyone else , barricade the entrance near the ladder , and just sit in the window with everyone else camping. It's a nice relief from the tension and chase of regular escape maps :001_rolleyes:

    anyways , we may disagree on the use of overplayed maps , but regardless I still support all admins on this server. Congrats!

    wow you argue pretty well for a 15 year old anyways the admins did their job correctly. Anyone who mic spams deserves a ban like that lol , and there's no excuse that you didn't know the rules. The rules are pretty much spammed in green text every round.
