I don't have any idea if this pertains to you, but some places let people go just before 3 months is up so they don't have to have a legit reason to fire you. My friend worked at BP's and worked there for almost 3 months and they fired him even though he was awesome, just because they are douchebags. Sorry to hear though :\

Yeah bus powered hubs supply 500mA total. External powered hubs do 500 to each one. So it depends what you're powering. I was just wondering if it *could* draw power from the laptop instead of the wall if not plugged in.

Can a powered USB hub be a bus powered hub if I don't plug it into the wall? Or does it NEED to be plugged into the wall in order to function at all? Thanks.

Deathadder 3500 DPI with the braided cable is actually what I decided to go with since it was on sale for 39.99 CAD (Plus 12 for shipping and handling which was gay as hell). But yeah since it was on sale I decided to go with it. I honestly can't STAND the look of the g500.. I think it looks like a tumor... Lol. It would be, but it needs to constantly be renewed. I did that at home because we have an auto ice maker in the fridge so I just take out the the thing and grab some ice (usually already still slightly frozen together making a perfect line)... But up here (where I go to school and live most of the time), we don't have an auto ice maker so I don't use it .

I'm looking to get a new mouse for christmas probably (or just buy myself one). I don't want to waste all my money, but I want a good mouse with a few extra buttons (don't want 18 or anything like the naga, but a few extra would be great) so yeah.... Recommend me one I'm right handed, but I don't like really big mice since I don't palm the mouse. Ergonomically right handed is fine, but I'd prefer if it wasn't extremely right handed since I do sometimes use the mouse with my left hand. And yeah, recommend me a mouse. Last question, I know I can go into control panel>mouse>device settings or w/e and disable my laptop mousepad, but is there a way to macro disabling my mousepad to a button? So I don't have to go in there every time I want to enable/disable it? I can just 1 click it? Because when it's disabled and I unplug my mouse I need to use windows key, tab, arrow keys, and enter to get there (I've kinda perfected it but I'd rather just click a button lol). Thanks. Well just know it's not the only option, and you can switch and go into something else that you still enjoy but won't bend you over and shove it up your ass with schoolwork.

Yeah they go up to 70+ after running for longer or doing more things. Got any cooling pads to recommend or anything?

Ok so I'm looking at getting a cooling pad for my laptop. I'm not that great with computers so I'd like your help. First off, it seems my computer idle's at reallllyyyy high temps. I've been looking around and most people say like 40 C is high, but my CPU IDLE'S at like 65 C. Is this high? I think this can't be right because it's basically at that temp right from when I turn it on (if it's been idle for a while), but core temp and HWMonitor both say that, so I'm pretty sure it's not legit, but idk. How could I get an accurate read? I honestly don't know much about computers so if you need more information tell me how to get it. Also, my laptop has a 9cell battery, and it sticks out the bottom (propping it up in the rear so it angles slightly). I don't want an already angled cooling pad or it will make my laptop angle too much. I was thinking maybe it would sit only on the front 90% of my laptop. If it's the same height as how much my battery sticks out the bottom I could just put it in front of my battery, rather than also resting my battery on the cooling pad. But yeah, high temps? Or? And what cooling pad should I get (that isn't very expensive, but will get the job done). I was looking at thermapak (since it'd be nice to have no noise or draw power from my computer), but I'm not sure it would work as well as I want it to. Suggestions? Also I'm from Canada so keep that in mind when it comes to recommending something. I don't want to pay out the ass to get it across the border lol.

Nope I have it too :\ it like mass silences your music, and if you click whatever it was (I completely forget), then it turns up your music and disables all mic sounds. Overwhelmingly gay. I don't know of any solution :\

Ok first off, I thought it was funny. Kinda lolled at Carl of Duty Black Cops. I lolled harder at "look at the time". But seriously, if this is going to turn into this, then at least use creative images instead of the same non-funny ones over and over. They don't get funny the second, or even third time around.
