  1. What I did was took the whole url for my community page, and put it in and it works.. (I tried copy/pasting the numbers and was like that didn't work...
  2. I know what you're talking about. That's how my mom made me feel until I moved out. Just everything she did drove me up a wall. And I didn't want to hate everything about her, but you really can't help it.. :\ I feel for you man. (Moving out helped TONS with my mom)
  3. I don't like norton, and while I don't have mcaffee or norton on this computer and get along just fine, I know I don't NEED it, but for 40 bucks..... And you know a lot more about computers, but I like McAffee so until someone explains to me why I shouldn't like it, I will continue to like it
  4. FUUUU on the double post. Sorry.
  5. I would rather do weird things, than hate everyone for any and everything they do. Can't imagine that being a good life to live. :\..
  6. Account Information Username: Bob Loblaw $69.96 USD Now that I have a new laptop on its way I'm getting l4d2 and potentially more games since my computer will be able to handle more.
  7. This kind of reminds me of something that probably isn't related to OCD, but is weird nonetheless so tell me if others experience the same thing. Let's say I'm just thinking, and a situation plays out in my head but it doesn't go the way I want it to. I have to "recreate" the situation in my head and force the scenario to go how I want. Sometimes my brain naturally tends to one direction, and it takes several playthroughs until I can manage to "overpower" the natural conclusion. Ex. I have a basketball, and I'm walking and so I start dribbling, but I didn't want to dribble, so I have to think of being at the place with the basketball, but just walking instead of dribbling.. Also (not really anymore at all), and it wasn't even very powerful at the time, but something about being able to really hurt myself, but not doing it.... Like, bringing a knife to my arm or neck even, but then of course not doing it (I'm not suicidal (believe me)) but for some reason I wanted to be near to doing it without doing it. We watched a vid on OCD in psych in gr 11, and a kid would put a knife in his mouth (but not hurt himself). Everyone started laughing and stuff saying he was crazy I was like darn, know what you mean xD. What can I say. OCD has no logical explanation. Guess that's why it's a chemical imbalance in the brain. Meh, could be a worse imbalance like schizophrenia.
  8. Yeah well today I got out of the shower on the right side of the curtain rather than the left side like I usually do. It felt weird. I shan't be doing it again.
  9. I actually have OCD... My main real OCD is that everything on my body needs to be even. I remember when I was younger I walked through a field, and a grain of wheat or w/e brushed up against my left leg, so I had to turn around and brush up against it with my right leg to "even" it out. Now it only affects my feet/toes. If my pinky toe gets pushed up on one foot I have to do it on the other (hard to explain and sounds ridiculous I know, but that's real OCD for you lol) I used to always needed to have food nearby. If I was going on a trip to Calgary I needed to have lots of snacks because even if I just ate I was scared I would get hungry again (and being SERIOUSLY hungry, like hungrier than just mannnn I'm hungry! Hungry to the point it physically hurts to eat sucks.) I think it started shortly after I let myself get that hungry O.o This passed though In regards to more of the type you are referring to: while playing cs:s I alwaysss tap V. C is sensitivity 20 and V is sensitivity 4. So I constantly tap it to make sure it is 4 sensitivity. Even though I know it is.
  10. When I get rich I'm definitely getting an alienware. Super expensive, but hell they look nicer than tits. (Depends who's I guess)... Alienware are epic, but it was like 1500 for a standard alienware, or 1500 for a better Dell Studio 17. So I figured I would rather go with something that was a fair bit better but didn't look as nice..
  11. I'm excited about the facial recognition that will come with my dell. I think I would have preferred HPs counterpart the fingerprinting, but facial recognition sounds sweet too. And yeah I trust dell too. Always have liked dell more than hp, but I don't have a lot to say about hp, they just seem to add a ton of unnecessary crap to your machine. I trust dell's battery life MUCH more than HP's. So I'm pretty excited. I'll post about it when I actually get it a few weeks from now. Here I'll post the specs I got, you guys can tell me what you think: Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Quad Core Processor 1.6GHz (2.8GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache) Security: 3 year mcafee for only 40 bucks LCD Display: 17.3” HD+ (900p) Bright LED Display with TrueLife™ and Camera/Facial Recognition SW Memory: 4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHz Hard Drive: 1TB (2 x 500GB) Dual SATA Hard Drive (7200rpm) Graphics Card: 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Battery: 85 Whr Lithium Ion Battery (9 cell) Bluetooth: Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Internal (2.1) I also got backlit keyboard. What d'you guys think? Hoping it is exactly what I need and more
  12. Looks good. I vote yes. PB needs some non-crap maps.
  13. Going to have to go with SF on this one. Either tell him you will ship it to him, and he can ship it to his daughter, or don't do it.
  14. Regina seems to have about as much here in Saskatoon. Not as much as Moose Jaw. We only took one pic (when we opened the garage and the snow was piled (Up against where the garage door was) most of the way up it.. If my parents upload the picture I'll post it. We got ridiculously stuck last night in the snow haha. It's good times (If by good times I mean not good times) Don't worry for all you Ontarians, it's heading east because my friend in Manitoba said they were getting hit with it now. So you may still luck in and get hit yet ;) Buses weren't running up in Stoon, and so my friend got an excused for his chem lab and he doesn't have to make it up (we were storm stayed in moose jaw so good thing buses weren't running). Unfortunately they'll probably be running tomorrow and I won't get excused from my chem lab :\..
  15. Uh, Yeah I guess I believe in Demons, but I don't think they have any power in the world. Like I don't think someone can be posessed by demons, I just think they exist. Yeah I believe in Angels/good/god, but again, I don't believe in guardian angels or anything that help out on earth. No, I think church and praying have a bigger impact. Because I don't think devil/demons really do anything. Devil I guess has more sway just because people naturally tend to that side, but I give that more to humans thatn the devil
  16. I went with a dell for about 1500 (CAD). I wanted the HP counterpart for a fair bit cheaper and instead of facial recognition it hand fingerprinting, but HP (the noobs) dont ship to Canada (or at least they don't let you customize your laptop to ship to canada. Can only buy prebuilt ones so I went with Dell.. But I trust dell's battery life a lot more than HP so thats a good thing.
  17. I'll start off by saying the reason I'm not posting this in build a rig thread. I know nothing about what I'm asking, and I don't want to ruin the thread with tons of posts asking what does what etc. Okay so I want a good laptop, and I figure I can get exactly what I want for much cheaper, if I build it myself rather than buy a premade one, or even a customizable one like off dell.. This is why I need you guys. I'm not even a tiny bit of a tech person, so I'm asking you guys to kindly help me I'm looking to spend lets say up to 1000 dollars on a laptop (maybe a little more but preferrably not). I need said laptop to be able to handle games like tf2, l4d2, css perfectly fine. I wont be playing ridiculous games like crysis so it doesn't need to be PHENOMENAL, but whatever is in my price range is fine. So if people would be so kind as to build a rig for me, and explain why/what it is you are recommending. I literally know nothing, so try to explain it as if you were talking to a retard (for lack of a better word). I tried looking at other threads, but they seemed to be more dedicated to desktops rather than laptops :\ Also is putting the laptop together myself hard? or not. What do you guys who know more than me think about this for what I want and the price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834146612 Also, that laptop has 6 cell lithium, how long dyou think it would last? Or does it seriously vary a lot from laptop to laptop and so guessing is futile? And how much would it cost to get a 9 cell battery?
  18. Story about why I felt like a champ. Here in Sask it's free (well like 10 bucks) to get your license.. And you get your learners when you're 15 and license when you're 16. Then I moved to Ontario where it costs quite a bit to get your license, and you don't get your learners till you're 16 I believe. So when I went there I had already had my license for about a year, and only a few other kids even had their license at all. I was probably the youngest in my class (fairly late birthday), and had my license much longer than anybody else and had a chance to rub it in. Oh and don't drink and drive.
  19. It makes me feel dumb that I didn't think of everything she was talking about first!
  20. Dude I saw him on the comedy channel a long time ago... Look for his little bit about drinking and driving, and the cop pulls you over... I never knew his name so I never bothered to look, but that guy is HELLA funny.
  21. Wth...

    Really? Another drama thread?
  22. Pancakes. Not to brag or anything.
  23. 159 in your grade is a really small school? You guys must have huge schools there....
  24. http://failblog.org/2010/01/20/rickrolld-win/ Oh my goodness gracious!! I haven't laughed soo hard for quite a long time. Hahahahaha. It starts off so ferociously legit.
  25. But ultimately your screen doesn't move, which is why I would never want one. I mean, why do I want to move my head to the side, while still keeping my eyes straight ahead. If I actually looked sideways and could still see it, then AMAZING. But I don't want to cock my head to the side and only be able to see out of one eye (in real life).. I don't know, it's hard to explain, but in all honesty, to me, it sounds stupid.. If they mounted a TV in front of your face that traveled around with your head, and managed to get it so the sensor could tell when you were looking a certain way then amazing. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that you still have to keep your eye on the screen, which severely limits actual head motion.
