It's actually closer than you think. Hope the development team thinks about those of us who like the current functionality in regards to all the new reaction options but I doubt it's a high priority at this time.

I think it would be a good idea to have a secondary map pool that ran past a certain time at night (can be determined through analyzing gametracker data) where the only maps available are maps that can sustain or increase our dwindling population late at night instead of having 75% of the server leave because a map like shapeshifter or another huge map that's relatively new gets spammed on by being option 4. I think that it would be a good step towards maintaining late night population if we played only the more popular maps.

I agree with the MOTD or splash pages idea, but, I think that the way it was designed was for it to be focusing on games outside of CSGO. The idea behind making 'CA' a primary rank again was twofold; A) prepare people to eventually take over for ATs when they bite the dust, and, B) have people dedicated to representing a server and actively helping their managers grow their respective servers through communicating that particular server's playerbase's wishes. Including but not limited to rule discussion, idea generation, and events. So while I don't personally mind the events team helping out here and there with server events, I would personally prefer if they were essentially scouting out potential new servers in other games for our community to grow into and in turn continue to thrive/survive as valve has show many times over the course of this game that they don't give a fuck about community servers.

There are situations where this could occur in theory but it'd almost never used in practice. When running a community the best thing you can do most of the time is listen to the wants and needs of your population and cater to that.

Wear the sg reg and mem tags for additional credits. Also prices are where they're at to encourage play time on the server. I agree that some prices may be high but at the end of the day it's just cosmetics, it's not like you have to spend credits to buy guns and shit.
