  4. I have a hard time believing this to be a legit scientific resource if they believe this. Did no body learn that the body will adapt, therefore after a certain period, the body won't be used to x-100 calories anymore but would be equal to x-100=xy calories. With this, this is an argument of hypothetical. We are assuming that OP eats an unhealthy lifestyle in food, but what if he eats a healthy one, yet double the amount of calories their body needs. All of the advice in the thread is blanket advice, and means nothing to a specific person. Hard pressed will you be then. No one said it would be healthy as you'd lack a fuck load of other important vitamins and minerals and other nutrients, but it's possible. So long as they are eating less than they are burning, they will lose weight. Is this not the basis of anorexia? The issue is that these "alternatives" are just different ways of doing the same thing. If OP were exercise with enough intensity to have an elevated heart rate and do this long enough to have their body use available energy (aka calories) then they are creating the deficit but through exercise rather than food. My problem with this is that rather than teaching a proper diet, it gives the impression that a healthy lifestyle can be had by eating whatever you want, so long as you burn it off. Sure, this is no problem in the short term, but in the long term, OP may run into a situation where they cannot exercise to work off the calories, then once again, they would be required to use a diet deficit to get around this. Starting with it to begin with, then using exercise to supplement it will be much easier to begin with. This is absolutely correct and is the #1 reason why so many people fair their dietary and fitness goals. It's inappropriate to expect someone to be able to make a complete change to a complete lifestyle change, especially with the amount of temptations offered against them.
  5. Not sure if the above posts are trolling or not, but if you're seriously looking to lose fat, then you need to have a calorie deficit. A common one that people do it cutting out 500 calories per day, to lose a pound per week. First thing you need to do is determine how many calories you're currently consuming by using a tracker such as My Fitness Pal. Then, I'd use an online calculator to get a rough estimate of your caloric needs based on factors like your age and activity level. If you don't do any exercise, or don't have much activity in your current lifestyle, I'd look at adapting some. It doesn't matter if you're running, walking, lifting, riding a bike, etc, all that matters for this purpose is that you are elevating your heart rate. If you aren't very active, you won't be able to run for 2 hours straight, maybe not even be able to walk after that amount of time. Start slow and you'll build your way up. Walking for 5 or 10 minutes around a track is a good starting point, and each week, or whatever interval you choose, you can build your way up in the time you spend doing it, and eventually with the level of exertion you're using.   10. Mistakes happen, however, it tells you who your T buddies are in chat. If you know about this bug, I see no excuse as to why you wouldn't take the initiative of avoiding these situations and using/remembers from chat as not relying on the buggy red circle

    Are you serious right now? I cannot fathom your thought process when you made this statement. Perhaps you should have read first before making such a stupid comment. Let's walk through it together. So from what I'm reading, Veggie is the owner of a iPhone 7 Plus which is should be able to receive the update properly. He also notes that he has a battery life which lasts 3 or more days which directly counters your earlier statement of I would sure like to know what type of phone that @Veggie has since Apple makes more than 1 model of iPhone and it may differ from the model I have. As you aren't an Apple customer, you might be unaware that they have different generations of phones which are denoted by the number. @Nitram mentions having a iPhone 6, which is different from a iPhone 7. I have an iPhone SE, which is also different from a 6 and 7. Each generation has different hardware which will receive the updates differently. Quit making a fool of yourself and finding a need to insult people over what type of phone they have when they are giving personal input that helps others.
