I have old logs from IRC from about 14-15 years ago and I shake my head in shame at how I acted and typed. http://www.OGame.org is a browser-based online MMO. There are no graphics and no walls of text to read. The goal is simple. Build up your fleet and attack other planets. I played this years ago and it consumed many years of my college career until I was defeated. There are several universes to join (the higher the number, the newer it is) and there's apparently a new universe that runs at 4x normal speed, which interests me. If anyone is up for it, I'd like to know which universe to join and we can create a guild/clan/organization or whatever the fuck it is.
