After reading a bit on the reddit page, it seems like there are some pay to win elements to the game... That alone would stop me from spending any money, as well as the $40 Canadian price tag.

This is out now? It looks great but the problem is I only do PvE and I heard the content was somewhat lacking. If anyone here plays let me know how it goes.

You can't prevent mods, unless it uses the same system L4D does but even then you can use sourcemod to change the gameplay. Guess what else has matchmaking.... Team Fortress 2. Guess what TF2 has... dedicated servers.
