I am getting a new 160gb ipod and I just wanted peoples' opinions if it is hard to tell the difference or not for which method of encoding I use. And if you can tell the difference, is it worth the extra space it takes up? My guess is probably not, especially for portable players that you listen to outside with background noise anyway, unless you have like $200+ headphones.
