Rumor has it that the GT300 line will come out in March. I myself am waiting until then to see if it is true. If so, you could grab a GT300 or an ATI for cheaper than you can now.

I used to think that, until my headset started eating into my ears. Minimal padding ftl. Also, the mic went out after about a year.

Care to explain why the OS I have never had any problems with since its release is so terrible? Also, care to explain the benefits of 7 over Vista other than a different UI and very minimal optimizations for performance machines?

It would still be hella fun to try out for a couple of shots. I wouldn't buy one though.

I just got a G15 back in September, and damn is it a nice keyboard. I wasn't expecting much as I have had a very bad experience with my other keyboards in the past. But this one is different. It's a keyboard that actually has no real problems with it (GASP). I do have one problem with my G15 though. Mine suffers from having two V keys. Yes, my G15 has a V key where the C key should be. It doesn't really bother me though, since I don't look down to type. I did find it quite comical though. WUT, TWO V KEYS?!?!?

I just got these since they were on sale. They're pretty good headphones sound wise and the mic is crystal clear. Of course I prefer my Z5500 to the headphones. But I couldn't see any headphones possibly beating the experience the Z5500 gives you.

Vista Ultimate x64 all the way. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with Vista. Anyone who says otherwise is just a wierdo. If money weren't an issue, I would get 7. But, I don't feel like dropping 200 bucks for Vista Service Pack 3. Because in the end, that is all Windows 7 is. I also use OS X Leopard on my 24" iMac, but only for multimedia stuff.

NVIDIA used to be great. After the 8800 GT it's been rebrand after rebrand. At this moment, I am more sided with the Red because they are actually putting out new cards (GASP). I just hope NVIDIA redeems themselves with the GT300 Series or else I see myself buying an ATI in the near future...

Performance: i7 Budget: Phenom II I would personally go with the i7, but that's just me.

Now all it needs is a RCON app.

Yeah, it looked a bit small. I enlarged the Health/Armor from 8px to 12px. I also enlarged the text from 18pt to 20pt. The reason I included the cartridge type is because some weapons use the same cartridge. It's an aspect I first saw done in The Specialists, and I think it's somewhat useful. Can't say I've played that. I did borrow some aspects from a few games, including MW2, MGS4, TS, and the original gamemode I'm basing this off of.

Note: I didn't post this in the modding forum because it seems more like a mapping forum than anything. I'm working on a gamemode for the Garry's Mod Fretta Contest. This is the HUD concept I made up for it. What do you think? Is it any good? Are there any improvements you would make? Thanks for the comments.

Amen. x2 --- If you want a good single player FPS get The Darkness. If you want a good single player (or splitscreen coop) TPS get Army of Two. If you want a good arcade-style race game get Burnout Paradise. The reason why I don't suggest any multi player games is because I don't like paying $50/yr just to play online.

I tried WoW for 15 minutes on a friend's account. Never wanted to play again. Not my kind of game.
