Go with the 5770. It's the best bang you can get for your buck. Yeah, and start having PLASMA generated in your computer. Unless you have a watercooling setup, no thanks.

Typically as long as your GPU doesn't go above 100C you should be fine. 90C - 100C is like a warning zone. 100C+ is like redlining your GPU. Don't want to go there for long (or at all really). With that said my GPU would easily reach 80C from normal games and 90C+ from more demanding games. After I replaced the cooler with a third party cooler my temps dropped dramatically. Now I never go above 60C even on demanding games.

I think a bunch of soldiers, gays, rockers, and anyone else they have trolled should camp outside their church and blast some good old hard rock/metal. Highway To Hell in particular. ;D

This. It's amazing how fast dust can build up on your components. You will also want to check your GPU for dust. Having your GPU overheat is no fun.

It's just a bigger hassle to be lugging that huge ass monitor around. Plus, while you're rocking your 1024x768 monitor I'm rocking my 2048x1152 monitor. Mine has more than twice the resolution as yours. I don't see any advantages CRT has other than they're cheaper which is to be expected of an outdated technology. Your definition of "Pro" seems to be a bit washy. I'm sure if you walked into a LAN with a CRT you would get some seriously odd looks.

LCDs give off a much better and sharper image. I would much rather have a clear, non-fuzzy experience over 120hz. Once I went LCD, I never looked back. Having a lightweight, portable LCD is good for those of us who go to LAN parties. I couldn't imagine bringing a huge, clunky CRT to a LAN party.

The reason why I don't usually play regular source. Games that rely on spread are just ugh. I'd rather have a game where there is actual recoil that throws your aim off. Playing a game like that would take skill rather than the luck of the spread. There is only one game that has done this, and that is The Specialists.

Whether he's scripting or not, I'm not sure. Those Bhops seem pretty legit to me. Though it is pretty clear that he is using an aimbot of some kind. Some of those shots were way off and he somehow managed to still get headshots on them...

This is one of the reasons why I hate small devices. Even if you are careful, things like this can happen. I will never buy a smaller iPod than the Touch. Even with my touch I have a huge ass case on it just to make sure I know where it is at all times.

I'm running my 8800GT on a Samsung 2343BWX. This monitor has an optimal resolution of 2048x1152. My FPS only goes to shit if I crank up AA all the way. I can usually get a solid 60 FPS on source games if I don't crank AA past 4x. At this resolution AA doesn't make much of a difference past 4x anyways. I would suggest the monitor I have (2343BWX,) but it appears that it has been discontinued. What a shame.
