  1. Either that or you're some kind of secret dev working for Valve at some super secret Newellian satellite office. >_>
  2. Nope, I live in the US and I buy all of my games off of Steam now. xD
  3. Steam tends to be overpriced in currencies other than the US Dollar.
  4. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5854-QWLN-2621 I have heard of people getting their Steam accounts deactivated for this.
  5. States

Meh, that's the least of your problems living here. Insane taxes Out of control state spending Too many goddamn people People have no goddamn respect (at least in Orange County)
  6. If you do that then remember to either take the HDD out or use a utility to wipe the data. I would suggest you do at least 7 passes (NSA) with a data wiping utility just to make sure everything is gone.

  9. I swear if these nutjobs ever showed up at my doorstep I would down some and start acting queer. That would be fucking awesome.
  10. Windows 7 theme

http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/skins/windows7/ I would look around here. I know their Vista section has a good selection so their 7 section should have a good selection too.
  11. Song of the year right here.
  12. Depends on who has the latest and greatest. I don't pledge brand loyalty to any company. Though if you want to know about my current computer I am using a Q6600.
  13. Oh the times I wish I could negative rep. Seriously, who cares about Lohan? I certainly don't.
  14. Tech talk is more about working with computers and other electronics, not programming them. Modding always seemed like a general discussion area about any projects you're working on. Not much of an in-depth programming area. I think having a programming section would make a nice addition to the forum. Then people who are interested in the field would know when someone needs help or where to post when they need help themselves. Just my $0.02.
  15. This Gigabyte motherboard I got back in 07. Right off the bat I had problems. The first one I received appeared to be tampered with or something. The northbridge heatsink was half-way off and it was missing a few things. I RMA'ed it ASAP and got one that hadn't been tampered with. After about a few months I started having stability problems with it. I would get random BSODs and one time it even killed my RAID I had set up. After about 9 months of dealing with that shit I finally trashed the piece of shit and got the motherboard I have now. I haven't had a single problem since. I will never ever buy a Gigabyte product again. Those two experiences were enough for me.

  18. +1 Sesame Street was the shit when I was young. Actually, they still are the shit.
  19. MY LIFE IS FINALLY COMPLETE.

    Lol...

  20. Nixon is still alive??? MY GOD. PS. We never went to the moon.
  21. The grass is always greener on the other side, until you found out it isn't.
  22. You know I really love pineapples.
  23. Laptops!

I'm pretty much in the same boat with you. The only reason I got a 3650 in my ThinkPad is because it allows me to do game development while I'm out. It's good enough to run Source fairly smoothly and that is all I really need.
  24. Laptops!

I honestly can't stand the keyboards and screens on netbooks. A screen size of 13" is the bare minimum for me. The 15.4" (1680x1050) screen I have now is pretty good. I only really like it because the pixels are so dense. I would prefer a 17" screen though. I wouldn't mind carrying around a 17" laptop. It's all about personal tastes.
  25. If those people never post anything useful then why not just block whatever they post? Sounds simple enough.
