The JB team has a few ideas on how we want to implement this. It's not as simple as just thinking about it as there are currently no plugins that fits the direction we want to go in terms of incentivising players to play CT and not just kill whore. There is a lot going on with others server/forums so this has taken a bit of a back seat but we haven't forgotten about it.

It's a forced deathgame that takes priority over freeday. You can force all alive ts to partake in the deathgame if there are at least 5 ts still alive regardless of what their current orders are

While in theory that works, how long do you think a CT who gets banned multiple times cause he knows what he's doing is going to continue to play on our server. Likewise we'd become the "server you get banned from for doing good" it's definitely possible and theres ways to get proof but I know if I got banned twice from a server because I know what Im doing I won't be coming back to that server a third time. Also the time it takes for someone to go look up the demo watch it and make a determination is unfair to the person who got banned because he's a good CT. Also what if he freekilled every single round before but the round that he got banned happened to be a legitimate kill. There is too much context involved that an automated system can't take into consideration.

Good question

A lot of bans are situational and an automated system wouldn't be able to determine what was legitimate and what wasn't. Also if someone appealed one of these bans we'd have no way of defending if they actually freekilled or not since there would be no proof.

A CT can't make you completely freeze. You can't move wasd or crouch but are you able to knife the air or slightly turn left or right. If they expect you not to move a muscle that is an afk freeze which is not allowed on our server due to the afk manager that could move you to spec if you stood there and didn't move at all. But to answer your question yes you can be warning shot if you took a step out or your cell and crouched since you technically didn't listen to the order as it was take a step out of your cell and freeze.

While I get the idea this would be hard to implement without disrupting the gameplay going on. If you could elaborate on how you might want to add this or if you know of any plugins that make this easy without interfering with the gameplay at all I don't think it would be a bad idea as I'm with you it does get boring if you are one of the people that like to rebel as soon as you can and have to wait the whole round. I doubt this would become anything but like I said if you can find something that is plug and play and doesn't mess things up for the people still alive I'd be willing to entertain the idea.

This has happened so many times just for it to fizzle out quickly I cant even explain. Napalm multiple times when it came back, gungame, TF2, casual servers in both source and csgo, Gmod ttt and rp, the list goes on. There's no evidence to support that just because this was popular right now that it will continue to hold any kind of value. I'd say keep it as an event server as people will just get bored by next month and it will be dead. I'm not against or for making it a permanent server but I've seen this happen so many times in 10 years that I don't personally believe it's worth the trouble.
