I don't see what's wrong with the system we currently have. I think lifetime supporter status for $20 is a bargain if you really think about it. The only change I would make and I don't know the history about all this as I haven't been here for that long, but I would make it so to apply for the apprentice program, you must be a supporter. I think that you would see the increase in donations that way. I guess supporter packages could work. But for most people a $20 donation is a lot of money... how many people are honestly gonna donate $40 for a few extra perks? I probably wouldn't have. Maybe adding perks to the supporter status may help, maybe that's worth a try. If you enjoy the servers, if you enjoy the community, that should make you want to donate as is. Even if it's only $1 a month. I decided to donate, not for the perks of supporter, but because I truly enjoy the community and the servers we play on and want it all to stick around. But I am in favor for whatever will help getting people to help donate. Whether that means more perks or whatever.

I would choose the power of persuading others. And make everyone who says no, suck a dick.

Thanks Suri for asking the tough question (as it's mostly none of our business), even though it may have been looked down upon by some. I was actually curious as to what the answer would be. I mean, it's obvious that the money is put back into the community, but it was interesting to see where and how much it costs to run this community. Although Suri, advising the community not to donate if the question wasn't answered was a low-ball move in my opinion. If you ever thought our donations didn't go back to the community, then why did you ever donate? Thanks to Jager and Haggard for answering the question though. It was much appreciated and I think gave current donators and future donators a good sense of where the money goes.

Last night, I went to the "Legally Prohibited From being Funny On Television" Comedy Tour in Eugene, Oregon yesterday. The cool part was that Eugene was the first stop on the tour. It was pretty fucking funny... I don't want to ruin it for anyone that may be going to it in the future, so I will shy away from the details for now. Is anyone else going to this? Many of you might have heard that he just recently signed with TBS for a new late night show starting in November. I'm pretty excited for this as well.

Boring to watch? I use to think so until I started playing golf myself. Now I'm enthralled by it. They make one of the most difficult sports to play, look easy. Some of the stuff that the best pros in the world do on the big stage (The Masters) is, to me, breathtaking. It's one of my favorite things to watch every year.

Yeah, Phil is one of those guys that you either love/hate him. I just happened to grow up loving him.

Will Tiger Woods win? I sure hope not, I think he'll be a tad bit rusty. I'm a huge Phil fan, so I will be rooting him on. I doubt a lot of people watch golf... I usually only watch the majors and this is one of my favorite tournaments to sit down and watch over the weekend.
