  1. Aw... broseph...
  2. I agree. The bitching is going to begin as soon as the next round begins. With that going on, and order being given for that round, shit goes down. The dead chat, I feel, will help get rid of some of those problems.
  3. Happy Valentines Day

Happy 151 years Oregon!!! (It was also the state of Oregon's Birthday today!!!)
  4. I like the chat to only "dead" people after you die.
  5. So, so sad.
  6. If everyone could talk all the time then it would be a clusterfuck. The only way I would be in agreement would be if only dead people can talk to dead people, that would at least make the round less boring after you die. I usually watch TV when I play PB, when I die I just watch the tube, haha.
  7. I've been listening to a lot of grunge rock lately. Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, early Foo Fighters... just to name a few.
  8. Good point. But what is the point in saying zombie freeday then? Zombie freeday gives off the impression that you can left click knife without any punishment. All you have to say is freeday, shiftwalk only.
  9. This is so wrong... That's all I have to say.
  10. Horse Racing is my least favorite sport. Although I do enjoy the most exciting two minutes in sports (Kentucky Derby). As far as the more popular sports go, I would say girls basketball. Nothing against the girls that play the sport, I just find it very hard to watch and boring. If I am to watch it, I prefer the professional level, one of the few sports that I prefer at the professional level. I usually am a bigger fan of the collegiate level.
  11. I'm 24 and looking to score!
  12. I agree with you there. There is absolutely no point to zombie freeday if T's can get killed for left clicks.
  13. I like it, haha. Would never work though.
  14. I can't comment on a lot of the stuff that's been brought up into this thread, but I will say that I have been playing on the SG servers for close to a year now. I have played with both bay and crimson. Sure bay uses his admin powers, to his own benefit though? I don't think so. He is on late at night a lot of times, when the servers have been emptied out, and he does whatever he can to make the server fun for everyone else, including himself. I don't think I have ever seen him misuse his admin powers intentionally. It sounds like (from reading this thread), that this could have been all avoided if Crimson went to bay and talked to him before issuing him a strike. To me, this is a whole misunderstanding that puts both Crimson and bay at fault for what seems to be a fairly harmless act. I think, if anything, we should all take this situation as an example. Why must we be so quick to turn our back on a fellow SG community member? It's pointless pointing fingers and calling names. We are humans and sure we make mistakes, but all it takes sometimes is a one on one conversation. That's what steam chat is for... or vent. What we are seeing here, to me, is something that could have been nipped in the butt from the get go by Crimson. I feel if the issue was brought to bay's attention then they two could have talked things out and none of this would have happened. I'm still new here and it sounds like there a whole lot of conspiracy theory's spreading about BD's/CA's and what not. It's stuff like this thread that draw away future community members and current community members. It's one thing to have a thread with rational arguments, but this thread has gotten carried away. With what started with a simple question asked by bay, it has turned into a whole different situation now. I have always been a fan of, if you have a problem with someone or something, talk to that person or talk to someone else in the community about it. Even though I know a lot of the higher up's might be busy, I'm sure they could schedule some time to talk things out with you. Answer your questions. I'm going to end this rant that was suppose to only be one paragraph, before I got carried away. \ I think the lesson we need to take here is to not jump to such quick conclusions. Take the time to find out the facts and then proceed from there.
  15. Hahaha... no it was a combination of camping spots, haha. Never in ZF though. A couple rounds on the tall ladder you get to in armory. A few rounds in Disco vent. A few rounds in Teleport Tower. And a few rounds actually doing my job!
  16. I went for the Colts. Kyle DeVan, the starting offensive lineman for the Colts was a former Oregon State Beaver and drinking pal of mine.
  17. Today in lego jail.
  18. 1.) I think cells need to be open at a certain time. There is no reason for T's to still be sitting in the cells with 3:00 left in the round. It doesn't matter if a T is out of the cells and rebelling already. Cells still need to be opened in a timely fashion, IMHO. 2.) I like warning shots, but I think the rule needs to be firm. It needs exact guidelines or else constant complaining will continue in the server. I myself am not a fan of them. It takes too much thinking as a CT and the T knows he is doing something wrong. It should be up to the CT to make the best decision based on how non-violent the rebellious act is. But once again, this is just my opinion. 3.) I also think there needs to be a rule where CT's can tell T's to go into one place and keep them there the entire round. There needs to be a rule where CT's must order T's to move at least once after the initial order to go somewhere. For example: CT's order T's to solitary. CT's must then move T's to another location at least once. And it should have to be in a certain time frame. They can't say... ok T's move to sauna and there is like :10 seconds left. 4.) CT's camping is always going to be an issue. I don't think it should be not allowed, but it should be modified. CT's can camp until there is only 2 left. Once there is only 2 CT's left, camping is no longer allowed by CT's. It prolongs the round.... this would help fix that. That is all that's on my mind right now.
  19. Super Bowl XLIV Thread

Well I was a little off in my prediction. I thought it was a really good Super Bowl though. I was pushing for the first OT in SB history but the pick 6 ruined that. Best commercial was the Doritos Ninja.
  20. Congrats to everyone!!!
  21. I agree with pretty much everything that has been said. It is indeed a tactic the T's can use. Although when you are CT, it can be a bit much sometimes. I think it rarely causes a huge problem and it's most likely fine the way it is now. I'll vote yes anyways... because it might help the clarity at the beginning of the round.
  22. Yeah, it does happen sometimes. But usually for good reason, haha. I prefer the more popular maps, but every once in awhile it good to play a map that is rarely played. But honestly, some maps just kill the server too.
  23. Thanks everyone! =-)
  24. I disagree with this. There is a place and time when deathgames are fun, but that should always be based on if T's want to play. Not if CT's are bored and don't want to give good orders. If it's a freeday and there are 4 T's running around doing nothing. Then send them someplace that there is maybe a gun located at or revoke there freeday. Stick them in solitary all round during the next round for doing jack shit. I agree with everything Italian said. The DG's would be abused and there would never be time to rebel anymore. I say keep it the way it is. Death games should be optional based on T's approval. CT's should start giving better rules and stop camping in a one-way entry with a AWP. That is what's boring.
