  1. He called a couple of them but yeah I do think some of them were probably fake in the end. But this is pretty awesome if they were actually legit.
  2. I would love to see VIP escape make a return. Maybe an event would be better than an entire server to itself until the ze population picks back up.
  3. Completely false. Then why even post in the thread?
  4. I would prefer Louisville and Syracuse in the title but I believe it is going to be Louisville and Michigan in the title game. Regardless hopefully Louisville comes out on top.
  5. Happy Easter!
  6. I am surprised nobody brought up the fact that a lot of times racism occurs over the mic and not through just text. So really even if you had a plugin you would only remove text racism when often it occurs through mic.
  7. So my laptop was working fine all day yesterday until I decided to take it elsewhere to study and then when I opened it back up I developed a thin blue line running through the middle of my screen. I was searching around because I have never had this happen before and came across either a video card issue or an LCD issue. When I connected my laptop to my TV with and HDMI cord the blue line didn't show up so I am stuck with the idea that this is probably an LCD issue. When I run my mouse over the line the line shows up over the mouse along with everything else. The line is more of a cyan color and seems to turn red when it is over an area of whiteness. I was wondering if anyone has potentially had this issue before and has any suggestions before I potentially have to go out and pay a lot of money for a replacement screen. I may even just go out and buy a new laptop since this one is about 3 years old and no sense in paying a ton of money for a new screen on a laptop that I was considering to upgrade in another year or so. Luckily it is very small and just more annoying than anything.
  8. Last time we had the server it was empty almost 24/7 except the occasional person trying out stuff. It'll be busy right away but I don't see people just hanging out in the server for long periods of time.
  9. You should get rid of the Winter Olympics then because a lot of countries don't have the opportunity to have snow and actually participate in those games. Not every single country has the resources to participate in every single event. Same argument can go towards Equestrian and the other events in the Olympics. Just think of gymnastics and how much money that costs to get training. You can't just go out in your backyard and become and Olympic gymnast. The athletes that participate in gymnastics are generally very young in their teenage years and I am sure they aren't poor either but I don't see anyone complaining about that. What does it matter that there are less poverty risen golfers? Every sport has those success stories where someone has risen from poverty. I would not argue that golf clearly has more participants from richer backgrounds because I think most would agree with that statement but I don't think this has any bearing on why it shouldn't be in the games. I completely disagree with training being less. With wrestling, like golf, you are most likely going to have a strength coach along with a swing coach. In wrestling you are going to have some kind of formal training expert that is going to cost money. What people don't realize is that you don't just get placed on an Olympic team you earn it. With any Olympic team you try out and the best make the squad. In order to make that team you are going to get training. Nobody is going to give a sponsorship to someone trying to make their first cut at the Olympics. In fact I would almost even argue that golf would be cheaper for the fact that you generally gain more sponsorship's in golf once you turn pro. I highly doubt the Olympic committee is gearing their sporting events toward the U.S. The Olympic committee is made up of representatives from all of the participating countries. This all goes back to the simple fact that in order to get Olympic training you need money. I am not talking about you and I going outside and either wrestling or playing a round of golf. I am referring to receiving Olympic training and the costs it takes to participate in the games.
  10. In fact a lot of schools now you have to pay to play any sports. In my local area you have to pay to play sports and each sport that you play you have to pay. Does not matter what sport it is. In fact some schools have a charge of $150 per sport to play. Again it varies by area. My area is very poor and every school has a golf team. Yeah they have to pay to play but some courses will let you play there without paying depending on the situation. Each situation differs. But my point wasn't that you pay money then go to the Olympics, my point was to get to the Olympic level you can't jump from college to the Olympics without some sort of training which will cost money. Now there are probably a select few that can but the odds of someone going straight to the Olympics without further training is rare, even if it is just to adjust your skills slightly. Take someone like LeBron James who went from high school to the NBA. The guy took a huge leap and not many have done that but even when he did make that jump I can guarantee he hired some form of training to get him prepared for the NBA. The point was that to get good enough to be at Tiger Woods level it is going to cost you money to get there. Just like with wrestling, golf has coaches as well that every player will have that will cost money. I was stating that to get at the "Tiger Woods level" of wrestling you have to produce money as well. Not to actually be a first time player. Regardless of which sport you play you can get into it cheap but it is going to cost you money. If you're a young kid any sort of sports league you are going to get into will cost you money. Same with golf. It may not be a lot but you still do have to pay. The Olympics isn't about producing people to become Olympic athletes but rather for a chance to see the nations best going against each other. I can see kids watching the Olympics and probably wanting to try a sport out but even in my past Olympic experiences I didn't really see much Wrestling televised either. The majority of the summer Olympics are track and swimming because that is what people are interested in the most. Golf is something else that the world seems to be more interested in but once again I will state that I do think wrestling should stay but I am just stating why golf should be in as well.
  11. It may make it more widespread around America but not necessarily the world. I know my area which is extremely poor has a golf team at most schools (and I really can't think of one without one) while some don't have wrestling. It really depends on the location but golf seems to be more widespread throughout the world than wrestling does. I don't have any stats to back it up but this is just my assumption. But once again I don't think wrestling should be removed but I am just stating why golf should be added. But I was more referring to him stating that you can pick up casual golf but unless you pay to play on courses and such you aren't going to reach the level of Tiger Woods. I was just stating that the same thing can be said about any sport. Without money you won't get the top training to make you an Olympic athlete.
  12. Well you could argue this once again with every sport. You aren't going to become a wrestler that can compete in the Olympics either without some sort of big time training which wouldn't come cheap. You could make the same case for every sport. In order to become good at this level you need the proper training. Your local high school coach isn't going to produce you into an Olympic medalist. I'm not just trying to pick on wrestling I am just stating that the same case could be made with any sport.
  13. Well I could not agree more with basically what you said. I don't agree with removing wrestling especially since it was the original sport in the Olympic games. Personally I don't see why they even HAD to remove one at all. I am not disagreeing that removing wrestling is wrong I am just making a point that there are some games in the Summer and Winter Olympic games that don't require as much strength and stamina as Wrestling but I do feel that they should still be in the games. Maybe I am just uninformed but I don't see why they even had to remove a sport and add 2 more. It could be cost or just the medal count but I am unaware. I am sure they had some sort of reason to choose wrestling but it would be nice to have them make it a little more clear as to why wrestling was chosen over the others.
  14. I don't really agree with wrestling being removed and especially since Rugby is being added as well. I personally like the idea of golf. There really isn't an international championship to golf so this to me is something special to the game. I mean you could make the argument for most sports about being faster and stronger. I know golf doesn't require you to do a whole lot of lifting but neither does Equestrian and that is an Olympic sport too. There are a couple of sports that don't require being faster and stronger but smarter. I don't think the Olympics should necessarily define itself as being an event where you have to do a bunch of physical activity but more of an event where the best from each country go up against each other for world titles. I am sure when people grow up they don't think they are going to be in the Olympics for Equestrian. In fact most kids (especially US) want to play Football (which isn't included), Basketball, and Baseball. These are by far the most important in the United States and only one of those is offered in the Olympic games. My point being is that I agree Wrestling should not be removed but that Golf should be in at the same time. Golf takes a tremendous amount of skill and those that don't actually play the sport most of the time do not appreciate the level of skill these athletes are at. You can even make the argument where a guy like Tiger Woods could potentially be in better shape than some other Olympic athletes. I mean the guy works out and lifts like 3 times a day.
  15. This is what Caution had posted in another JB thread earlier this week. I believe the Monday he was referring to was this previous one but he could still have other stuff he is catching up on.
  16. No offense but your first paragraph is pretty ironic if you ask me. I won't try to repeat others but clearly the point of the game is to give orders and have Ts obey them. Obviously if they tell you do something you do it (within rules). The point isn't to get to the destination as fast as possible. I rarely say crouch to somewhere and the only time I do that is when the entire map has just been basically rebellion. The purpose of crouching is to slow down the Ts and have more control instead of them just running all over. It makes zero sense to say crouch here and then Ts jump there.
  17. Still wish VIP escape was around....
  18. Clearly legos. I used to LOVE legos. I believe I still have them all stored somewhere but I used to make some sweet houses and airplanes with legos.
  19. I liked the idea behind the competition but if I remember correctly the voting process was a little messed up. Not sure if I am remembering the right event or not.
  20. Have we really reached the point that we have to make a rule for EVERYTHING? I mean c'mon clearly if someone says crouch here they don't mean jump there. I really don't see how this is even an issue or how people could get upset. It's like saying go to big cage and somebody saying well you didn't say not to go to VIP! Clearly if you were allowed to jump the CT would say jump there but if they say crouch then crouch there. The CTs shouldn't have to say what you can't do. It always annoys me when a CT says go to pool be in the water and a T uses the diving board and gets capped then complains about it and says you didn't say no diving boards. Well clearly the diving boards are not water. In my personal opinion all you have to do is warn them like they were standing up and if they continue to do it kill him. This all just goes back to just common sense and trying to skirt around the rules.
  21. Well got 1/2 right. I still think the Pats are the better team but the Ravens won so I guess that doesn't mean anything now. I am still shocked that the Ravens have made it this far and I want to pick the 49ers now to come out on top but the Ravens continue to surprise me. Regardless I am still going to roll with the 49ers with a final of 24-20.
  22. I know other jailbreak servers do have plugins that can ban you from playing CT. I personally wouldn't mind seeing a CT ban until you have at least played 1-2 hours on the server. Just a suggestion but if it banned players from playing CT for 1-2 hours it could remove half of the CT problems I feel like. This would help out new players that I have seen on numerous occasions just join CT and say "I don't know what to do...." and just end up freekilling because they don't know any better. Give them a chance to learn the rules and how PB is played and also remove the "trolls" that will just come in and freekill.
  23. GAMEBANANA: ba_jail_electric_large_remixp2 (Counter-Strike: Source > Maps > Battle Arena) I believe you are referring to this one. To be honest I didn't like this map seeing as 75% of the rounds were freeday no disco since it was so easy to get into armory.
  24. I would also like to second this. I am not sure which one is the spy skin but I have seen the Hello Kitty skin before and I know others in the server saw it as well. So this is probably one thing you can check off as I think it was just a DL error and not something server side.
