1. I'd go outside.
2. What can I say... I got really bored.

3. all these newfags

I had to double check my join date.. Thank god I joined in 07.. cause I couldn't handle someone labeling me a newfag over the internets.
4. I remember Mindcrime vaguely. Sadly, as long as I've been active here.. I don't think I qualify as OG enough for this thread.
5. Happy Mothers Day! To all the SG Mom's. To all those that mother children that don't have a mum.
6. MalwareBytes is very good, However it is not perfect/bullet proof. My father got a variant of Fake AV that Malwarebytes would not properly detect/clean. I ended up having to use ComboFix to get rid of it. McAfee Stinger is a very useful tool as well.
7. This is the house I paid someone to build for me approx 8 years ago. Yes I am still paying for it.
8. Two of these threads was more than enough.. They seem to be multiplying like rabbits.
9. Donations

Thank you all!!
10. Donations

Paypal would be rich.. that would just about cover their transaction fees.
11. Wiki Team

Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
12. Wiki Team

Hrm.. I never did receive a PM or anything else after I'd posted..
13. According to your schedule you want to spend an entire month just to see who will get to increase the size of their e-penis?
14. Some things just can't be bought.
15. Congrats all around!
16. A part of the reason the old system went away is that: Quite bluntly it was a pain in the ass to manage. Paypal accounts aren't very easy to link to steam id's, etc. Too much paperwork. I like the concept it just would become more work than is needed.
17. I think it's good to have the generalized information out there. And don't fault Suri for asking. However sometimes people are busy and the follow-up post seems a bit hasty and not necessary. You didn't even give it 24 hours and a lot of us even the higher ups can't always take the time to answer as quickly as we might like. It's not my place to judge your intentions. And I'm going to continue to assume that they weren't malicious in any way. Some of the posts however did come across in a rather negative way. I'm going to choose to look at the end result and that being a little more information available to everyone, which in most cases is a good thing.
18. Well... http://tinyurl.com/y3zq2zr NOTE: Not all latops have the heatsink in the same area and some are rather hard to get to. But the general idea is well covered by the first link.. the others.. no so much.
19. Laptops are a pain when it comes to heat issues. Try raising the laptop off of the table. I've seen people use blocks of wood and things like that. I've seen quite a few laptops die due to plugged up heatsinks. the problem is that you have to take the laptop apart to get it cleaned out well. I hope you're able to resolve the problem I was just trying to offer a cheap work-around until you can sort the issue out properly.
20. If you are sure the problem is heat related... There are tons of ways to fix it.. without spending money... Exhibit A: Exhibit B:
21. Ok.. so I got a chance to play with one.. and guess what.. a large number of the apps/games for the iPod touch aren't designed to work with the iPad's screen so you get an iPod touch sized window in the corner of your iPad and can play in that little window.. Kinda defeats the purpose of the larger screen. Hopefully they will update/fix them soon to support the bigger screen. Just another reason to wait.. that is if you've bought into the hype and still want one for one reason or another.
22. OH WOW... Your post just proved your ignorance! Yes in a lot of cases they are overpriced.. but not all cases. Nor are all Apple products useless. I'm not a Mac fan as is probably well known at this point, however I would never go as far as to make a blanket statement that is as stupid as the one you just did. This thread isn't mac vs. pc it's about the iPad in specific.
23. malware

As far as where it came from.. I have seen legitimate sites spreading this and it's variants through infected flash banners. It is usually advertisements that are on the site that are obtained through a 3rd party company. Comcast's website was a major culprit about 2 months ago. (Comcast is a cable TV/ISP company). It's pretty widespread. Removal: In safe mode w/networking enabled. Download malwarebytes, rkill, and combofix. Run rkill to make sure any processes that might be running & could prevent you from cleaning infected files. Then run a full scan and clean using malwarebytes. Then run Combofix. I've yet to run into a variant of the AV 2010 or Sec 2010 malware/virus that this combination has been unable to clean.
24. This company is about 30 minutes from where I work. Best thing I've seen done with an iPad yet.
