That being said I gotta give props the the US goalie. Canada took 45 shots as opposed to the US taking 23 shots. It's gotta suck to lose "Your Game" on your home turf.

I just ordered an Alienware M17x with maxed out specs (cost well over $4000) Sadly it is for a research project and will be used for video rendering/editing and won't be used for gaming.

Where to start.. They've already stated that it "Won't" ship w/a camera. HTML5 is better than Flash, however take Hulu as an example (they only use Flash) so I doubt it will die off anytime soon. I can see ASUS (eee pc) creating a solid little tablet. Look at their netbooks, they tend to be very reliable and as far as noisy. (mine is pretty much silent). And get your facts straight.. Gateway wasn't the one that went bankrupt. Gateway Sold their professional, educational, & government lines to MPC including all warranty and liability to MPC (Micron owned) and MPC filed bankruptcy shortly afterward. As much as I don't care for Gateway or their computers they shouldn't be held responsible for MPC's fuck up.

Fujistu Sylistic tablet's have been shipped with onscreen keyboards and a complete OS for years now. Giving far more features and capability than the iTampon ever will. (Granted at a much higher price) The only good thing that I can see coming from this is a netbook Win7 version may be developed as competition. That I might consider buying.

To be serious (briefly) I never attended College/Uni. I just work at one telling professors with PHD's what to do. I make decent money and love what I do (most of the time, although there are rare days that suck.) However I would say that is the exception to the rule. You are going to be better off going to school and getting a degree. Even in cases like Mikey's where you can learn a trade/profession that doesn't require a degree to succeed and it's something you enjoy doing it doesn't hurt to have a degree in most cases it allows you to ask for more money and gives you flexibility in the job market.
