I guess I missed something yesterday. The new record for members online is now 225. The previous was less than 40. Did something special happen?

I found this website earlier today. Its a comic parody of the HL2 storyline with Gordon Frohman as the main protagonist. My favorite was page 40. I have been out of town for a week and I just logged on to find a bit of a change in the forums. Any comments to my post would be appreciated as that I would like to clear up any misconceptions on my part. I believe forum activity for most members will drastically drop. This forum has 309 active members (minus the 43 admins) who are no longer able to post in any relevant threads. I understand why the changes were made (I guess things have gone askew while I was gone), but now I cannot post in any of the discussion threads concerning any server. It seems that I can only post if I initiate the thread or in the off-topic threads. Also, I cannot view any screenshots or demo's. The servers located within this community are the best. I have been playing CSS since it was released and I have never joined the forum that supported a server until now. I joined because I enjoy the servers here and I wanted to be able to contribute to the discussion that improves the game experience for everyone. I understand that the maintenace of these forums is not the full-time job for the administrative personnel, although the workload may indicate otherwise. But not allowing members to post may alienate most of the server community. May I suggest a delegation of responsibility. The growth of your forums is a wonderful thing. With growth comes change. Perhaps an appointment of an individual to moderate each forum would help reduce your workload, yet still allow for a free-flow discussion of maps, suggestions, ect, from all forum members. My interest in your servers was greatly increased after joining the forums. Without the ability to post, I would hate to think that a person who visited your server for the first time today, who also visited your forum for the first time today, will not have the privilege or the opportunity to develop the relationships with other players that I have been able to only because I joined a month sooner. Dammit Super, I looked at those pictures, I hope I'm wrong, but please tell me those aren't the stock tires... All of my friends are into the whole rockcrawling thing. You wouldn't believe the money these guys pour into their Jeeps or the technology they havebuilt into their machines. This one guy actually has a system so that he can unlock his rear axle and brake each rear wheel individually. Its amazing. I just stick to the four wheelers. They are alot cheaper to fix when I destroy something. Or even better, I just ride with someone and watch him tear-up all his stuff. Twice the fun, with none of the grief.

I hate to bring this up. Please correct me if I am wrong. Assumption: It is actually his computer on which you have an account. I mention this only because the legality of this thread may be questionable. As per forum rules, "Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed." As a business owner, I deal with legal issues everyday. I just don't want the forum admins to get in trouble for this thread. I hope that you get your computer issues resolved quicky Master Chief.

I was just searching for info concerning HL3. Interesting search results. I think we should create a new thread so we don't hijack this one anymore than we already have.

A portal gun would be a lot of fun in HL2. It will probably be restricted to a certain part of the map. Kind of like the super gravity gun is only avaliable at the end of the game. Does anyone know how many episodes Valve is planning to produce? Although I have Episode 1 and 2, I have yet to play either. I would rather wait until I have all episodes if its in the near future.

I have the xv6800 from Verizon. The phone is pretty cool, I think it just came out last month. It has Windows Mobile, so I'll give that a shot.

I was wondering if there was a PDA version of this website. Unless I need to post demos or screenshots, I often use my phone to check the website (my job requires a lot of travel). The website is displayed perfectly, except for the chat box, on my phone. But there inlies my problem. Cell phone processor speeds and data transfer is considerably slower than home computers, so navigating the website does take a quite while longer. I think what slows me down the most is the graphics, (smileys ect.) Your buddy, *blank*
