O.o I think most people do this, although the chance of being right isn't big, despite what someone turns out to look like you aren't likely to imagine them descriptively until you get signs to suggest so. First assumption is obviously whether you're a boy or girl. Then it could be how they sound, most likely age and race. Then it goes deeper, you usually associate hobbies or first appearances (although not visual because you haven't seen them yet!) with appearance. Atleast that is how I think it works, although I won't go into any examples due to the bad reputation of people on the internet you insert stereotypes, although when you think about it almost everyone uses the internet these days, so I'm suprised how wrong I've been before, although ofcourse sometimes I've been right.
