Zaraki asked me about this yesterday. As it currently stands, there are no restrictions on Ts giving orders. I am about to get off to get ready for work, but I'll try to make a post later about this. I am very much open to making it against the rules to give T orders, so feel free to post your thoughts on the matter.

Given that this is a huge issue that isn't just part of our community, Valve is or will be very much aware of the issue.

This is a temporary change until valve fixes their shit. I don't think this will affect our long term population since we are not the only servers experiencing issues.

As long as you tell them you aren't going to kill them, and then you don't kill them, I don't care what make them do as long as it follows the other rules and is reasonable.

@Halo don't be so quick to shoot next time and try to make it more clear that you are ordering all Ts off mic so you can do a death game. This entire situation is just a lack of communication and quick reactions.

There's no hard time limit on ordering all Ts off mic. Generally speaking just order it, do what you need to do (such as give an order) and allow them back on mic. I watched the video involving this incident. I think it's a bit of mishap between both parties. Skinny, you prob should have just used chat to avoid being shot but I'm fine with CTs restricting mic so they can do Simon says, as long as the ct isn't a nazi about it. Halo really should have communicated better with you rather than just shooting you as he said no he didn't. He should have said he was ordering you off mic so he could do Simon says and shouldn't have been such a hard ass with the shots. Sidenote: @Mr.Sir i haven't said anything for awhile now, but it's "allowed" not "aloud". Seen you make that mistake a few times

As stated, the image dimensions AND file size play a role iirc. When you go to upload your avatar it tells you below what the requirements are. Iirc you also have to be a subscriber for animated gifs but not entirely sure if that's still true.

When playing a death game you get a free day only when the CT tells you that you do. With Simon says, many every CT is going to be a cheeky bastard technical and kill you if they don't say "Simon says you have a free day" and/or "Simon says Simon says is over". Tldr- you have a free day when Simon says you have a free day.

I'm not very fond of, for lack of a better term, the victim blaming in this thread. This isn't a matter of "you see the T has a gun, stay out of the way" as sometimes it simply isn't possible. Like elemental said and I reinforced, if it's a matter of a CT trying to shoot a rebel and accidentally shooting an innocent T, that is cross fire. If the CT decides to unload his clip into a group of Ts just to shoot one rebel, that's freekilling and not cross fire. Accidents happen, but there's a line between accidentally hitting someone in cross fire due to wrong place wrong time, and spraying people down.

I think this topic is discussing two separate things at this point. The ruling in this thread was a CT can not pick up a gun, look at the name on the gun, and use that as the reason to kill a T. The thing @ExRev and @RouxQuiDecalisse are discussing is killing based on whether or not the gun that the T has was acquired by leaving his cell early. These are two separate matters and I don't think that they affect each other. Exrev and Roux, I understand your counter points but as of this post I'm still okay with the kill. I'll work with @Wawa on it first chance we get to actually be at home at the same time and we'll discuss all sides of the situation. I'm still leaning toward being okay with it, but it is possible our discussion might sway me the other way.

The issue we have with the names on the gun is the CT isn't seeing the T with the gun and it's an unfair advantage to the CT that the game is giving. If it weren't for the naming system, the CT would never know the T ever had that gun. In the case of the example in my edit, the T was the only one in the VIP cell and cell doors were closed and he had the deagle. The CT can clearly see he has the gun and the only way he got that gun was to leave cells before they were open. Again, the main difference here is without the naming system, the CT would never know if a T ever had a gun without seeing him with it. That's the reason why I'm okay with the other scenario.

Serious talk aside, can we instead talk about why your keep putting at the end of all of your posts...
