  3. Is WWE A Sport?

Nothing you have listed is competitive. Injuries happen in real life too. Lets say John and Jason work together at an electronics store. Due to his work ethics and people liking him, he gets promoted to manager over Jason. Later that day John gets hit by a car and is left paralyzed in the hospital and won't be able to walk or talk again. Jason now gets the manager position instead. Injuries happen, it doesn't make it competitive because of it. I said it last night, I'll say it again. Saturday night the Cowboys and Jets play. When they step onto the field, nothing is determined. Either team could win. Whichever one plays better, will win. You can not say the same for WWE. When, for example, John Cena and Seth Rollins step into the ring, the winner is already determined. Lets assume in this example Cena will win. Even if Cena is having an off day, and Rollins performs his moves better, it won't change the outcome of who wins. Cena could miss a few moves, or mess up on selling some of the hits, but he will still end up winning. Like I said, to put it blunt. WWE is glorified ballet.
  4. Is WWE A Sport?

Souce boss your entire argument is based off of work ethics. The examples you were providing, are basically saying that the harder a wrestler works, the further in the company he advances. That does not make WWE a sport. How well the wrestler does in the match has no effect on the outcome. While it might increase his chances of succeeding in the business, it does not affect the match.

  11. NFC East

Teams that managed to win with backups this year: Steelers, Texans, Colts, Ravens Prob a few more but can't remember atm. Play calling is a huge issue right now in Dallas. Look at the offense without Romo, compared to the game in Miami when he returned. Romo has masked a lot of issues with the play calling. Surely we should have been able to win one game in a 7 week span with a backup. Cassel isn't the worst we could do, and it won't be easy to find a backup that's better, but Jerry needs to get someone to sit behind Romo and get the kid ready to take over. Cassel just played like utter shit yesterday. Id say a good 80% of his pass attempts were horrible throws. I mean ffs, McFadden busted a 50 yard run to get us on the doorstep of the end zone, and we got 0 points out of it. I do think he'll be better next week. This is without a doubt the season that should have been for us.
  12. NFC East

Can someone teach my QB how to throw a football? Like...idk wtf Cassel was doing yesterday. That aside, the run game showed some moments of shine, namely those 2 big ass runs by McFadden. The defense looked good overall, but being on the field 90% of the game will hurt you. Jerry needs to get a good backup to put behind Romo and something has to happen with our offense. We shouldn't have to rely on Romo to be Romo and make the OC look good. I was expecting a loss yesterday, granted I didn't think our offense would look that damn bad. Dez needs to fix whatever shit is wrong with him.

  16. NFC East

@Supa you're expecting the Eagles to only lose 1 more game between the Bills, Cards, Skins and Giants. I doubt your home field advantage against the Bills will be much. Philly fans like to boo their own team, and the first sign of trouble will lose whatever heart y'all had doing in. Also, I think Shady will be out for revenge. The Cards are healthier than the Pats and fighting for seeding. No way you upset them and the Pats. Skins and Giants games are both toss ups. Our division games are always uncertain. You forget that going into week 16 last year, Philly was by far the favorite to beat Washington and that week ended with Dallas clinching the division.
  17. NFC East

@Supa don't overestimate the Eagles just because you beat an injured New England. Honestly don't see two teams finishing 8-8. I think we see a division winner at 7-9 or 6-10. But then again who the fuck could have predicted this shit storm of a division.
  18. NFC East

I was ready to give up for the season and watch care free football but this damn division brought me back kicking and (literally) screaming. Healthy, I say Dallas is running away with this division. Which is why I'm curious how things will play out if we make the playoffs since Romo is on a timetable to return then. Honestly I have no fucking clue who to predict to win this shit pile. I'm gonna go with the underdog and slight homer pick of Dallas. Our defense I think is underrated. We lack in turnovers, and we have trouble finishing strong. Part of that can be contributed to ToP with Romo gone. I think our D keeps doing what it's been doing, and Cassel finally clicks in the system. Don't see us winning out, but 6-10 can still win this division for us...not even joking I'd probably say either Washington or Dallas wins the division in the week 17 game.

  20. Like metal just said, only real way to get it is to buy it. Which requires getting it from a CT dropping it. Not impossible, but won't likely see many Ts with the revolver. That being said, by definition it's a secondary. Think it'd be hard to tell with it holstered if it's a revolver or pistol. And you can kill a T for having an unholstered secondary. So basically nothing changes. Imagine valve will be nerfing it soon anyway.
  21. K Yeah, wasn't 100% on the wording on the server. It's not a rule, but that's why I said it is discouraged and frowned upon.
  22. Warning shot with an awp is highly frowned up and discouraged considering how easy it is to accidentally kill with it. Don't think it's officially in the rules for the reason that it's possible to not kill, but AFAIK it's always been discouraged.
  23. General rule of thumb is that as long as the shot doesn't kill, it is a warning shot. It also also highly frowned upon, but not entirely sure if the rule specifies, to not use an awp. It is recommended to use a sidearm and legshot, but is not required. As for that person complaining you can only do 50 damage, that's not something you can easily control. Either they are misinformed, or were doing as some Ts will do and lie to you to try to get their way. Also @Elemental pls, Edit: @bethy pls, posting same time as me...
  24. @Mandeemoo007 I'd argue that marching band isn't a sport, and I guess in the end the point I'm going to make would also apply to a wide variety of things such as gymnastics, cheerleading, ice skating etc. My main thing is, for something to be a sport, you have to be competing against another team or player. And I'm fully aware of marching band contests, but what makes me bring up my point is you aren't necessarily competing directly against them. I'm having trouble putting my exact thoughts to words, but you are performing and being judged. You are then ranked accordingly. And in some cases you aren't even directly competing against teams, such as with UIL in which you are just performing to try to get a 1 (highest score on scale of 1-4). In most sports you are competing directly against someone such as in football, tennis, hockey, basketball, baseball etc. My problem with things such as cheerleading and band is you aren't directly competing against the other teams. It is also often opinion based too. Idk, I know there's probably holes in my thinking, but I just don't really consider marching band a sport, and am lenient in considering cheerleading a sport. I would personally consider both, in cases of the competitive ones, to be just that. Competitive marching, or competitive cheerleading. All that being said, I respect the amount of work that has to go into both. I wasn't in band, but I know that you start in the damn middle of summer in the heat and it takes a huge physical toll on your body. And both cheerleading and band require a lot of skill and dedication. If people want to call them a sport, I won't stop them or argue with them, I just personally don't think of them as such. As for the first part of your post Savage, idk why the hell they didn't have cheerleading listed at the very least as an extra-curricular. Seems like an error on their part.
