The whole "directly disobeying" thing is either a recent trend or I'm just now noticing it. Regardless id say that situation you would still have to warning shot. Warning shots a required in almost all situations unless the T is obviously rebelling, and by that I mean the order is say to be on the soccer pitch, and they are way off in pool. In the situation you gave, from what I can gather he was on the way to work out room, asked to heal, was told no, and detoured to medic anyway. I'd warning shot him and tell him to go back. The detour from workout room to medic isn't far at all so it wasn't like he was going to somewhere to get a gun. Had he not asked to go heal and gone to medic before going to workout room, you would have still been required to warning shot him for detouring. Your point of "directly disobeying an order" IMO doesn't really stand. You could argue that anytime a T detours they are directly disobeying an order given and could be killed. Honestly it boils down to the fact, IMO, that there was no reason to even kill him to begin with. You probably should have just warning shot him, tell him to go back and move on. The only time you should kill a T is if he directly poses a threat to you. Such as being in armory, having a primary, damaging you or a fellow CT or is breaking one of the KOS rules such as teleporters* or vents. Him detouring to medic really didn't pose a direct threat to you so you didn't need to kill him. I prob would have just told you rather than slaying you but that's just me. It's really no different than saying free day no past first cell, past first is KOS (which isn't a valid order)then doming a t for going past first cell. Warning shots are always required and CTs can not make up their own KOS rules. We had this discussion recently in the admin section and @XeNo can feel free to clarify as he was the one that told us this. The T going past first cell is directly disobeying an order as you said in your example, but a warning shot would still be required. *- some teleporters aren't KOS, such as the one on clouds that leads to the rest of the map, or climb on spyvsspy Also I'm on mobile and at work so if someone replied before I hit send I'll edit my post if I need to respond. Already taken me a good 30 minutes to type this due to having to stop every 2 mins to work.

At one point I do close out of KTANE and opened PB. However, the stream was setup to only capture KTANE, so CSGO wasn't captured. Plus the switch to PB was only like 2-4 minutes and I had to stop because the streaming was causing me to have 900+ ping.

Not too bad. Was mostly myself, pan, souce, black white and a guy I went to school with. Mr lonely and Intelligence jumped in towards the end. The entire stream Is up if you want to view it. We did mostly moderate level bombs. Got pretty drunk later in the stream. Ended the night with some late night drunken PB. That won't be on the stream tho.

Hell if I know. It is setup just like any other armory, only people don't tend to spam normal grenades. They will sometimes spam regular grenades on jb_outside (whatever it is exactly) which often leads to the guns being launched out of armory, I also warn about that.

I've always warned people about spamming decoys. People like to go into armory and throw a shit ton of decoys. Not only is this spamming their team chat with the "fire in the hole" message, but it is spamming the audio of a shit ton of guns and explosions. Just in general it is spam. Unless you feel otherwise, I warn them to stop spamming it. Usually they stop after being warned. Don't think I've ever had to actually punish for that.

Just a reminder that the event starts in around 5 hours. The twitch stream can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/sg_goku Remember that there will be around a 30 second delay. The audio from teamspeak, the game, and my mic will be able to be heard on the stream. So if you wish to watch it that way you can. Otherwise, listening live through teamspeak will allow you to hear what is happening in real time, but you won't be able to see the bomb itself.

Decoys: If people are spamming it, that's punishable. Other maps have decoys as well. People talking over each other: We shouldn't remove a map because people don't know it...playing it more is how you counter that. And people talking over each other can be stopped by an admin. Less guns: I think there's a fair amount of guns. Also see my next point. No vents: A map doesn't need vents that lead to armory (which was the reason you mentioned in TS). There are few teleporters on the map. There's really nothing wrong with the map. It is quite a popular map and I never hear anyone complain when we are there.

No. See below for why Cappn pls, that is not at all what he asked. And again no. The reason we won't be doing this is because part of JB is learning the ropes, which involves learning the maps. The best way to do so is to explore and test out different things. A little exploring is all it takes to discover most map secrets. If we spoon feed the secrets to everyone, then, as stuning pointed out, you would have CTs camping certain spots more than they already do, and more Ts would try to use certain secrets. Basically, it takes away a bit from the gameplay. It is a lot more fun and rewarding figuring out certain aspects and making all the secrets easily accessed and known by everyone ruins them.

ATM was planning on asking a random trivia questions periodically. Might narrow it down to just those that play the game. Depends how many people show up.
